Four years later...

Marvin stared at the beautiful brunette the sat with the rest of the residents. How long had it been since he had spoken to Bonnie? About four years now... Yeah that sounded about right. Of course that wasn't his fault, ok well maybe it was a little. Marvin wasn't the best at allowing someone to attempt to leave his life, even more so since he had told her he was in love with her. But then, she changed schools, ignored his calls, refused to see him, and eventually moved to a private school where she hardly ever decided to come home. Yet, here she was now a resident on his floor.

Marvin turned his gaze from her over to the rest of the residents. "As your Resident Assistant, I will make sure each and everyone of you obied by the rules. I also hope each of you will find it easy to confied in me as a friend to help you out with any concerns you may have. That being said, my room is 309, my door is always open, unless I'm sleeping or in class. Hope we all have a great year." A smile was plastered across his face. This was a good choice, to be a leader to a younger group of students. It would give him some experience for when he became a teacher.

Marvin watched as his residents walked off back to their dorms to finish up fixing the room before classes started. Though his eyes soon glided over to Bonnie who waved goodbye to what he could only assume was a roommate or something before she had turned her gaze over to him. "Well, if it isn't Marvin Eriksen." Bonnie skipped over to him with an innocent smile upon her face. "I knew I'd see you here eventually, my dad told me you were here before he left... I think that's the only reason why he wasn't so hesitant to leave me." Bonnie glanced down at the floor momentarily before looking up at him. "So... How have you been?"

How has he been? Well, since the moment she left him... He had been heartbroken. His smile had never been the same according to his parents. He had even gotten information of where her school was, but when he got there all he saw was how happy she was, away from him. Marvin gulped, "I've been fine."

"You've always been a terrible liar Marv." Slender arms wrapped around his neck. His eyes closed shut as he took a deep breath. "Just try not to glance over in the showers." Her sweet seductive tone whispered in his ear. Just keep calm, he attempted to remind himself as she finally let go. "Four years can change a lot about a person, but I can see you are your parents child, have you had sex yet? Or have you been waiting?" She asked curiously.

Marvin looked away. She was teasing him, tormenting him, but why? Bonnie had never been this way when they were younger... Then again Bonnie was pure, a tough exterior who never showed her true side. Was this a facade like her parents had built many times before? Marvin missed out on four years of her life..their life... Her years in high school. Those were years that set the course of how a person would react to the world... What had happened to her since they last spoke?

"I'm waiting on a girl I confessed my love to four years ago, who ran away from me and decided to go to a private school." Marvin stared at her dead in the eyes.

"Well, that girl grew up. The students in private schools can teach a girl a lot... Like I can have, and what should never be." Bonnie lowered her eyes as she stepped away from Marvin. "You should do something about your predicament down there.. I'll see you around Marv."

Marvin watched as she walked off down the hall. Did Bonnie always have this side to her? Of course she did, it was bound to show up, she was a Stinson after all, but still... She couldn't go down the same route as her father. Marvin wouldn't be able to bare the sight of her with another guy. He'd just have to make her his... It was the only way. Frustrated, Marvin gave in. "Bonnie wait up!" Marvin rushed down to her, she hadn't gone off too far. "Let me walk you to your room."

"I think we both know where my room is Marv, across from yours."

"Actually across by two doors."

Bonnie raised an eyebrow. "Who else would know to put your name in purple?" Marvin smiled softly at her.

"You have a point there...anyways I'll see you tomorrow. Maybe come by your room, since it's always open."

Marvin chuckled. "If you ever get scared or something you can knock on my door at night. I'll let you lay with me for a while or when ever you decide to leave."

"I get it, I left your mad. But you still love me so you can't really be mad at me." Bonnie smiled as she stopped in front of the door that read 311.

"My anger is on pause because I care about you and rather have a fight after we've caught up." Marvin stared at her in a serious manner.

"I told you not to worry about me. I'm a tough woman."

"And I'm a man. I won't let the woman I love face anything on her own."

Bonnie sighed. "I'll talk you later Marv."

He watched as she stepped inside, closing the door in front of him. A defeated look was plastered on his face. Yes, he had lost today, but that did not mean he should loose hope. No, Marvin only saw an opportunity for tonight, or tomorrow, or the next day. Noe that Bonnie was back, he could finally give it all he got to keep her.
