Mask left the cemetery. He looked at his tracker and saw that three dots were located on the other side of the city. A fourth dot was making its way towards them. "That must be Alexi," he said. He put the tracker into his hoodie pocket and left the cemetery.
Dmitri, Nikki, and Vladimir walked into the house. "Nice place you've got," Vladimir told Com.
"Thanks, and it was cheap on the market." Cassie came in from the backyard.
"Hey, Com, where are the-" She walked in and saw everyone in the living room. "Oh, I didn't know we had visitors."
"Cassie, it's so good to see you again," Dmitri told her as he hugged her.
"Umm, yeah, it's good to see you too," Cassie said. Dmitri let her go and introduced his friends. "Cassie, this is Nikki," he pointed at Nikolas, who was admiring a statue, "And this is Vladimir." Vladimir waved at her.
"So, these are your friends from Russia?" Cassie asked.
"Yes they are. And Alexi should be here soon, according to the call Vlad received," Dmitri told her, looking at his watch.
Alexi pulled into a gas station. He was the youngest of the group, at the age of 29. He had short, brown hair, tattoos on his arms, and stood at 5'11". He opened his car's gas cap, and filled the empty tank with gas. "Do you need some assistance?" A scratchy voice said behind him.
"What?" Alexi asked. The man cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry, sore throat. I asked if you needed help with anything."
"Actually, yes you can help me with something. Can you tell me where Com Vladkov lives?" The man stood there, thinking.
"I think he lives in the big house on 59th St. If not, then I don't know."
"Thanks," Alexi said to him, turning around to pull the nozzle from the car. He got back into his car and left for 59th St.
As Com pulled out chips from the cupboard, the doorbell rang. "I got it!" Cassie shouted from the living room. She opened the door and there stood Alexi. "Can I help you?" She asked him.
"Uh, Com Vladkov?" Cassie turned around.
"Com! Someone's here to see you!" Com came out of the kitchen holding a jar of salsa.
"Yes?"
"Oh, good. I've found the right place," Alexi smiled.
"Alexi! Hey, how are you?" Com said as they shook hands.
"Oh, I'm good. The journey here was a bitch."
"It always is. Come in, everyone's here."
Mask was trudging through the forest near the local park. A couple of kids ran past, but never stopped to notice him. He pulled out the tracker again. All four dots were around each other. "About a few more miles until I complete my mission." Someone tapped on his shoulder.
"Excuse me, but you seem lost. Can I help you?"
"No, but I think you need help," Mask told her as he turned around, pulling his mask off. She instantly began to vomit uncontrollably. His face was nothing but a skull covered in ashes and blood. As she was trying to stop, Mask lit her on fire with his hands. He put his mask back on and proceeded towards the Soviets. The woman's screams were loud, but no one could hear them. Mask left her to burn.
"So, how are we going to defend ourselves?" Nikki asked.
"Dmitri said that we needed to gather some weapons like guns," Vladimir said.
"We got some guns," Com told everyone. "We have them stored in the back shed."
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Everyone got up and went out back.
As Mask was making his way towards the Soviets, he left a trail of death and destruction behind him. Even the entire police force was destroyed at the hands of Mask. He pulled out his tracker again. "Left up ahead, then about a mile to the house. Good." He put it away again. His hoodie was bloodier than ever.
The shed door opened, revealing an entire wall covered in guns. M16's, AK-47's, Galil's, Uzi's, RPG's, and even a Minigun lined the shed wall. "Take your pick," Dmitri told everyone. They all walked in and grabbed as many weapons and ammo as they can carry. Some even took the tools that were in the back of the shed like a machete and a hunting knife.
"Is everyone all loaded up?" Alexi asked them. Everyone nodded their heads.
Mask finally approached the house. He pulled out the tracker and saw that all four dots were in the backyard. He stuffed the tracker back into his pocket and headed around the house. He was able to sneak around everyone and entered the shed.
"Alright, guys, we need a plan," Cassie said. "Because this guy is tough." Before anyone can speak up, they heard a chainsaw revving up behind them. They turned around and saw Mask standing in the doorway to the shed, chainsaw in his hands. They all pulled their guns out and began to shoot him. All of the bullets bounced off of Mask. He walked towards them, revving the chainsaw. They noticed this, and ran inside. Mask ran up to the door and sliced it down. He walked in just to see everyone going out the front door.
"We need to hide somewhere," Cassie said.
"Yeah, but where?" Com asked.
"What about the National Guard?" Dmitri suggested as he drove. "I'm pretty sure they can help us."
"They have the largest base here. And it's surrounded by a barbed wire fence and armed soldiers," Com told his father.
"So why don't we go there?" Nikki asked.
"I'm already going there," Dmitri answered. "It will be awhile, though. So just sit tight."
Mask was still at the house, searching through the shed. He found a hatchet and a shovel. Everything else was useless. He burned the shed to the ground and entered the house again. As he was walking around, the kitchen caught fire and out came Lucifer. "Hey, just to let you know, they're heading towards the military base." Mask turned around to face him. "And the military base has a nuclear missile back from the war." Mask just stood there. Lucifer grew uncomfortable. "Yeah, just thought you should know," he said, and went back into his fireball. The fire disappeared, not making any burns in anything. Mask was still standing in his place, but his hands were on fire. He raised his hands, and the entire house erupted into flames. Mask walked out the front door, leaving the house to burn.
They reached the base in an hour and were stopped by two soldiers. "Stop! State your business," one soldier told them.
"Please, we're being chased by a psycho. He's trying to kill us," Dmitri pleaded. The other soldier stepped forward.
"Can you describe him?" Nikki rolled down his window.
"He's wearing a white mask, white hoodie, and blue jeans." The second soldier stepped back in fear.
"You don't mean… 'The Man in the Mask', does you?"
"Who?" The first soldier asked. "'The Man in the Mask'. He was famous for being the only soldier to graduate boot camp the fastest. He was the only one that assassinated four Soviet representatives alone. This guy was unstoppable, or he was until he was shot. His entire unit was destroyed." He turned back to Dmitri. "How is he still alive?" They all shrugged.
"Can we come in?" Cassie asked.
"Yeah, of course you can," The second soldier told them, opening the gate.
Mask appeared in front of a giant gate covered in barbed wire. I must be here he thought. He was carrying a chainsaw, a hatchet, and a large knife. The knife was in his pocket, and the chainsaw and hatchet were strapped onto his back. He walked to the two guards at the front gate. One of them looked up and started to freak out.
"What is it?" His buddy asked. The second soldier pointed at Mask, who was standing behind the first soldier. He raised the hatchet and slammed it onto the first soldier's head, splitting it into two halves. The second soldier tried calling the base, but was hacked to pieces. Mask unlocked the gate and went inside.
Dmitri, Cassie, Com, Alexi, Nikki, and Vladimir were escorted to a room guarded by a group of soldiers. "You will be safe here," one of the guards told them. "The entire base has been put on alert."
Mask broke through the doors that led into the base itself. He was carrying the hatchet in his hands. About ten soldiers filled the halls, pointing guns at him. They all shot, but the bullets had no effect. Mask through the hatchet at them, slicing all of their heads off. He then pulled the chainsaw out and started it up. More soldiers were coming out to kill him, but failed. As he hacked them, blood flew everywhere. His hoodie was no longer white, but a deep shade of red. Soon, after a few dozen dead soldiers, the chainsaw ran out of gas. One of the soldiers took advantage of this by running up to him. Mask grabbed the gun out of his hands and shot him. He then threw the gun up into the air, caught it with his right hand, pointed and shot everyone in the hall.
Everyone in the room heard all the gunshots. Soon, they heard the guards yelling "We need to lock this base down now! We cannot let him live! Everyone, go!" Footsteps filled the halls, but were drowned out by gunshots.
Mask was shooting everyone who stepped in front of him, got obliterated. Soon, the halls were filled with blood, guts, and bodies. After a while, soldiers stopped coming out. The halls were nearly impossible to walk through without stepping on someone. Mask reached a room that was locked. He smashed the lock and saw everyone in there. As they stood in the corner, Alexi was able to sneak around and jump onto Mask, knocking him to the ground. Everyone else ran out, splitting up and going in different directions. Mask pulled Alexi off of him, picked him up, and smashed him into the walls. There was nothing left of Alexi when Mask finished, just a crispy body without any distinguishing features.
Dmitri found himself in a room full of monitors. He looked at them and saw that his son was in a room with a giant bomb. He left to go get his son and to make sure that he lived.
Mask stepped out and went to another room. He kicked the door down, but it was empty. He kicked down another door and found another chainsaw and an M60. He picked both of them up, strapped the chainsaw to his back, and continued his search.
Cassie ran to the front door, but they were locked. She looked up and saw an electric sign that read "Building Under Lockdown". She moaned and turned back down the bloody hallway.
Nikki and Vladimir ended up in the bathroom. They both looked for an escape route. Nikki looked up and found a vent. As he opened it up, Vladimir lifted him into the vent and pulled himself up as well.
Com was admiring the bomb when his father ran in. "Look at this. I've never seen anything like this before," Com said.
"That's because it's a fucking nuke! We have to get out of here!" Dmitri screamed.
Mask walked down the halls, occasionally bumping into a few soldiers, but shredded them with the M60. Mask found a door that stood ajar at the end of the hall. He entered the room, only to find out that there was a bomb sitting in there. Just then, Lucifer popped out from behind the door. "I told you there was a nuke here. Now, all you have to do is detonate it. Mission accomplished." Mask turned around and pointed the M60 at Lucifer. "What're you doing?" Lucifer was backed into a corner.
"Finishing the mission, Mr. Soviet." He fired the gun, not letting go of the trigger until he ran out of ammo. Once the gun ran out, he saw that Lucifer was full of bullet holes, bleeding lava from each hole. Lucifer Nighthawk was killed a second time. Mask turned back at the bomb. He pulled out the chainsaw, started it up, and drove it into the bomb's outer shell. Before he could rev it up, the entire room filled with a very bright, white light. Soon, the entire city was consumed with the light.
Mask was finally able to see again. He stood up, only to find out that he was in a giant crater in the middle of a wasteland. He pulled out his tracker, and saw that it read "Mission Accomplished" in bright red. It was over. There were no more Soviet representatives. He picked up the chainsaw and left. As he walked his mind was racing. What city shall I destroy next?
