I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN WRITING. I'm in 10'th grade high school and I've been distracted by school work, video games, and I just lost intrest for a while. I'll try to keep this going.
Chapter 4: New objective
"Wait" I said, "that symbol was on the knight that attacked me at the gate"
"Actually the 'knight' is actually called a soldier" Diz said. Those creatures that attacked you were called heartless, they're beasts that were created from darkness".
"Darkness?"
"You know, darkness, the oposite of ligh-"
"I KNOW WHAT IT IS!" I said offended. "I'm just finding it hard to believe".
"Well that's natural considering that you haven't seen one until late, but you must understand that this is real".
He was right, no matter how crazy this seemed it's actually happening.
"Ok, I guess at this point about anything makes since".
"Good, know let's move on" he changed the heart emblem into a picture of a soldier and a shadow. "There are two main types of heartless, they're called emblem heartless(pointing to soldier) and pure blood heartless(pointing to shadow)".
"What's the difference?, besides the emblem and armor".
"The difference is, that emblem heartless are made up of a person's heart which is the reason why it has the emblem, and the pureblood heartless are made of pure darkness".
"Wait, so the emblem heartless have a heart?".
"Not exactly, they're made up of a heart that they stole from someone else".
"Hold on, THEY WHAT!?".
"Heartless are attracted to the darkness in people's hearts, and since there is darkness in every heart, they come after everything that carries one".
"So they're made of dearkness, but they eat darkness. Dosen't that make them canibal's?".
"Perhaps, but you're getting off-topic". He switched the picture of the two heartless back to the white heart with the strange design.
"When a person's heart is taken by the heartless, or is lost to darkness, the person becomes a nobody".
This helped but I needed a more specific explaination.
"What exactly is a nobody?" I asked.
"Creatures without hearts, except much more horrible" Diz said.
"There are thing's worse than creature's made of darkness that eat people's heart's? I find that hard to believe-"
"They are worse than you can imagine." Diz's calm and collected demeanor started to change to a slightly angrier one.
"They look human, but they feel no emotion. They know full well the vile deeds they're doing but they care the slightest bit, they are monsters with human like appearences."
"Anyway, people can live on as a nobodie as long as their will is strong, but it is a painful exsistance".
He definatly knew he was talking about but I had to make sure.
"Are you sure ALL nobodies have emotions?" I asked.
"Well they can devolop emotions the more selfaware they become, or if the way they came into being was altered".
"Altered?, what specifically dose that mean"
"It's not important. We should discus the members of Organization XIII's leader". I was curious to know who exactly was in carge of this operation, so I agreed. The computer screen showed a picture of a dark skinned man with white hair/
"Their leader is Xemnas" Diz said, "He's rank number I and controls the entire organization"
"Do you know why he kidnapped my friends" I asked.
"They kidnapped your friend Jackson because they think they'll be able to use him, and they kidnapped your other friend because they think she is a princess of heart".
I wasn't sure what to ask first.
"A: What's a princess of heart? B. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO USE HIM FOR?"
"The princesses of heart are a rare breed of women with no darkness in their heart, and they're probably going to use the other friend as a monster in their army".
"Ok, I get why they want Jackson, but why do they want Allie".
"It would take too long to explain, for know we should focus on how to save your friends".
It sounded like the lesson was over so I was ready to get started.
"Great, where do we start"
"First, put this on" Diz said while he threw something at me.
I barley caught the item, the item was a golden gauntlet with a hollowed out circle in the middle.
"What's this for?" I said while putting it on.
"I'm afraid you can't use it's power yet." Diz said.
"Then why did you give it to me?"
"Because you need to wear it in oreder to get powers to equipt".
"Powers?"
"I'll explain this to you when you get one"
"Well THAT was a letdown".
"It dosen't matter, let's heas to the telepoter room"
"TELEPORTER ROOM!" I said surprised.
"I'll explain when we get there".
"Talk about being vauge" I muttered.
So we went down the hallway into a room with tons of wierd looking chambers (obviously the teleporters), but only one was lit up.
"Why does it seem like only one's working?" I asked
"They need more energy to function" Diz said.
"Ok, where do we get the energy"
"Heart chrystals".
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked confused.
"Heart chrystals, they are special crystals found on each planet that give of energy that is similar to that of a heart".
"Ok, so where do I find them".
"Inside heartless".
"WHAT!" I said shocked.
"They give of energy SIMILAR to that of a HEART, the heartles have probably absorbed them by know, and the only way to get them is to defeat the heartless that absorbed it".
"And, I'm guessing they won't be push-overs".
"The power of the heart chrystals ar great, a heartless who consumed one will also have that power".
I was starting to get unsure about all of this.
"Do you still want to do this" he asked.
I was getting scared, but I couldn't leave my friends in the Organizations hands.
"I'll still do it". I said
"Then you'll need this" Diz handed me what looked like a radar.
"You'll need this to track the heartless that has the chrystal. Now, step into the portal and you'll be sent to your first destination."
I headed into the teleporter unsure where I would be, at least I knew I would disappear this time.
Thus the journey begins. Please review, I want to know how this went.
