A/N: Hey guys it's me again and the reviews from the last chapter are really really makes me happy. I am glad that you all are enjoying this story. So without further ado let's jump in to the 4th chapter! Enjoy!.

Kate's not like she was today. A look of defeat and shame plastered across her face. It was yesterday's accident. The spider was not actually a real spider but merely a toy. But she got so panicked that she thought it was real and was like possessed when trying to get rid of it. And to make things worse, she knocked herself and Humphrey which itself was really embarrassing.

As the icing on the cake, Princess shouted an unfiltered sex related comments to the accident. Of course Princess had apologized and she just got so caught up in the moment that those words slipped out of her tongue (which is a complete lie since she is always talks about sex and its derivatives). Although Humphrey seems to be unfazed by the accident Kate still feel guilty about it and want to apologize but she doesn't know if he's angry or not.

When she got back home, Lilly, as usual told their parents on what happened between Kate and Humphrey. Lilly continued to rant before realizing her mistake. But the damage has been done. Eve and Winston wanted to ask Kate about something but Kate is so tired and so traumatized that she didn't even bother to reply or say anything. She just go to her room, take a good hot shower to clear her stormy mind and went to sleep.

It's Biology and it's the last subject before lunch break. Currently they are watching a documentary by Sir David Attenborough's Wild Canada. Most of the students were trying their best to look interested but still, the atmosphere of holiday still lingers around so they can't help but to play their phones. "Kate Ashley! Are you okay? You seems to be dozing off today" The teacher, Miss Oliver asked. "Oh! Uhh it's fine I am just tired that's all" She replied rather weakly. Miss Oliver raise an unconvinced eyebrow before returning her gaze to her laptop.

"Come on Kate I already apologized stop being a downcast" Princess texted her. Kate reply "How am I not saddened? I mean look at him! He's completely ignoring me from the first period. How am I not sad about it!". "Don't worry you are not doing intentionally I'm sure he'll understand". Kate fold her arms and rest her head on it. She kept her eyes glued to the documentary but she cannot help but to steal some glances to Humphrey. He seems to be the only person interested in the documentary and even taking a few notes although he does still play his phone every once in a while. I'm sorry Humphrey…

It is lunch break and the students were surging out like tsunami of hungry wolves. They all storming one same place: the cafeteria. "Hey! No running in the corridor! I just mop it!" A janitor yelled but drowned by the sound of students running. He shakes his head in disbelief. "Well at least no one slipped". As if on cue one of the student slipped and faceplant himself to the locker. "I told you not to run! Why you didn't listen?!" He yelled angrily. "Sorry but why didn't you put a sign?" He asked rubbing his sore head. The janitor wants to get mad but he actually has a point. "Hmm… I forgot. Oops I guess…".

The quiet cafeteria soon becomes packed with wolves ordering food, munching their food, talking, so on and so on.

"Come on Kate pick something up" Sweets said when Kate is unresponsive. She still looks sorrowful. Princess rolled her eyes and ordered two extra large french fries for Kate and a chocolate ice cream for herself. "Why aren't you ordering food?" Sweets asked to Princess. "Kate probably not going to eat that much so it's a free meal" She answered lightly. "You are an ass" "Kidding. I'm paying for her" She takes the tray and merrily go to her seat while Sweet and Candy dragging Kate behind.

"Are you still traumatized from yesterday's event?" Candy asked. Kate muttered something under her breath about she is still embarrassed as the two shake their head in confusion. Once they sit Princess hand over her tray. "Eat. And start talking. Why on earth are you still embarrassed? He's not mad at you I swear!" Princess asked half angry. "How do you know that? He barely talks to anyone else!". Uhh actually that's not true" Sweets interjected. Kate raise a pitiful eyebrow. "Shakey told me that they were hanging out with Humphrey and he is actually cool and relaxed. He talks quite a bit but prefer not to".

That gives Kate quite some relief, but not much. However, Princess is smiling evilly. "I see… Shakey huh? Sounds like someone's getting closer to somebody" She trailed mockingly. "No and no. I am just asking him because i wanted to help Kate. Nothing else". "Oh yeah and what about that part when you're-" "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT CANDY!" Sweets yelled garnering some questioning look. Princess smile, as always, becomes even wider that it hits Kate's cheek.

"Hohoho is that so? Oh well i'll ask Candy later". Sweets let her head banged against the table in defeat while Princess and Candy are snickering. "Thank you for that Sweets. But still i felt really bad knocking him to the ground and touching noses nonetheless!" Kate said. She look to the right where the boys at and Humphrey seems to be enjoying his meal and his own world while Garth and Hutch having an arm wrestle literally centimeters from him.

"Oh don't you worry too much. Now eat your most favorite food in the world beside pizza or Princess will let her mouth sucks it in like a tornado" Candy told Kate while eyeing Princess. Princess bared her teeth jokingly . Kate still wouldn't touch it. "Kate. Eat your fries. You'll need the energy for the rest of the classes". She shakes her head. "Kate. Eat. Your Fries. Now." Candy ordered sternly. Again, Kate brushes off her threat. Candy sighed.

"Alright then we'll do this the hard way. Sweets. Hands" Kate's eyes went wide and before she knows it Sweets locked her arms with hers in a vice like grip. "Stop! Okay okay I will eat!" "No no no Miss Katie. We already gave you chance to eat by yourself so we are going to feed you. Whether you like it or not!" Candy said grabbing the fries with her hand.

Kate seals her mouth shut. "Kate, either we feed you or we call Humphrey to feed you with his big french fry stick" Princess said evilly. Kate whines in defeat and let her muzzle open apart. "Good girl, now, feed her". Candy let Kate eat on her own but still Sweets has her arm around Kate's in case she attempting an escape. After a while – also garnering some laughs from nearby wolves – Kate's fries are gone. "Well that was easy. See? You'll feel better after you eat!" Candy said wiping her hands with a wet tissue and put it inside her empty cup. "Yeah. Thanks." Kate thanked them still a bit sad. But at least the food is helping her mood a bit.

They continue to talk trying to help Kate's mood. And much to their relief it's helping her bit by bit. Kate starts to talk and make a small smile every now and then. They also tell their favorite joke to help lighten the mood. "So here's a joke. Why did the student eat his homework?" Sweets asked. "Why?" 'Because the teacher said it was a piece of cake!" She exclaimed. The girls giggle and continue. This time Princess takes the initiative. "Alright alright, here I got one". "Oh god… please no… why you?" Candy groaned. "What? My jokes are good" Princess defend herself. "Yeah and ninety percent of those jokes are about sexual jokes!" Sweets added. "Well you guys still enjoy it nonetheless" She replied. Candy, Sweets and Kate sighed and allow her to continue.

"So, you know who'll give the best head here?" Princess asked. "The sluts. Duh…" Sweets answered. Princess shakes her head. "Kate?" Candy said. "Candy!" Sweets smacked her head. "Sorry…". Princess shakes her head again. "Then who?" Kate asked. "Reba and Janice" Princess answered. "Why?" The three asked in unison. "Because they are vegetarians" Princess replied. "Whoa whoa whoa hold on. The hell's the connection between giving head and vegetarians. I know a lot of normal wolves like us that gives good head". "Are you trying to refer to yourself Candy?" Sweets teased. Candy lunged at Sweets almost knocking Kate over her seat and biting on her ear.

"Alright alright girls that's enough of fighting. I'd rather see you scissoring each other than being on each other throats. I'll give you the reason" Princess said. "The reason why because they are used to eating nuts" She smiled in a lewd manner. The three girls groaned in a same fashion. "I knew it would be awful and corny" Kate said still palming herself. "Hey at least I am trying to get you into a good mood. In my own way of course" Princess defended her action.

Kate shakes her head. But still, she can't deny that she's in a better mood now. Her friends start arguing about something related to giving head when all fell silent. She raises her head and saw her friends wide eyed and mouth agape as if seeing a faceless man in a black suit. "What is wrong with you?". Then she felt it. A strong presence behind her. She instantly have goosebumps. The mental image is crawling to her.

Slowly she turn her head eyes open her eyes slightly to give ger a blurry sight of the thing standing behind her. But she end up opened her eyes all the way because she was so shocked. Humphrey was standing behind her towering like Burj Khalifa. She gulped deeply as he moves ever so slowly. She want to faint but I could not. "Why it never happens when I need it the most?". He bend his body to be closer to her and said three sentences that makes Kate wants to simply vanish with the invisibility cloak.

"We need to talk. After school. Meet me at my car in the parking lot"

That's all he said to her before he goes back to his seat and resume eating his meal. Kate cannot move. Cannot think. Can't even breathe. She nearly fell back to the floor had Sweets failed to caught her in time. 'Whoa whoa whoa easy Kate easy" Princess said gripping her hand to support her as best as she could. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod" Her blabbering comes to a halt when Princess slap her. "Get a grip on this situation girl!" She barked.

"I am so dead! Humphrey wants to talk to me and it's probably about yesterday's accident! He would never want to talk to me or even be friends with me. I am dead. So dead! Ohmygodohmygodohmygod" Slapping Kate once more Princess locks Kate's muzzle with her hand and pull her so close that their lips almost touching. "Listen to me. He's fine. He only wants to talk to you because he wanted to apologize. That's all he wants to do. Trust me" Princess tried to calm her down but in a deadly serious tone.

Kate wants to believe her words but with the things happened before, how could she?. It all seems surreal and she even hope that all of this are just a bad dream. The bell rings and all of them go to their respective class. Kate was so uncomfortable that she even asked Hutch to switch seat with her. Garth noticed her body language and since he saw the whole ordeal from a far in the cafeteria, tries to reassure Kate that Humphrey wants nothing but to apologize. But his words fell on deaf ears. Kate wants nothing but to go home and end this nightmare. She doesn't even paying attention to the teacher and the subject.

X – X – X

Kate slowly walks to Humphrey's car followed by her friends. Princess and Amanda has been trying to comfort Kate all the way from their class that it's going to be okay and nothing bad would happen. But Kate is basically in a comatose state. She sees Humphrey waiting by standing in front of his car and her sister Luna is already in the passenger seat. "Stay calm Kate, it'll be over soon" Princess whispered to her. "Don't worry, Raven told me he is okay with yesterday's accident. He just want to apologize that's all" Amanda told her the same thing as her friends did before.

Kate steeled herself and stands directly in front of Humphrey. Even as her friends stand directly behind her, it feels like it's only her and him. Humphrey walks closer to her. She looked up to him, his glowing red eyes still terrifies her. "Kate… I want to…" He wants to speak about unable to do so. She gulped and wait for him to continue. "I wanted to apologize… if I somehow makes you uncomfortable yesterday. I know it's unintentional and I forgive you".

Those words sends Kate flying above cloud nine. She was freed and the huge weight on her mind and shoulder were removed. She can finally breathe normally again. No more nightmare of her 'kissing' Humphrey.

"I… thank you?" She mewled. Kate's friend giggled and she becomes red with embarrassment. "Go on, hug him!" Princess urged her. She blushed. "Shut up Princess!" She said half whispering. "Come on it would be nice if you give him a nice hug!" Sweets added. She hesitate but hug him nonetheless. Wrapping her arms around him. "I can't believe it! I am hugging him! Oh my god his body scent! Ooohhh…." She moaned in her mind. Her tail is wagging at light speed and she has the biggest smile her face could muster. Her friends are giggling from behind but Kate does not hear anything as she is too focused to hugging Humphrey. The moment continues for a while before Luna decides to step in.

"Come on Humphrey! Either makeout with her or take her with us to Domino's Pizza! We are running late!" Luna yelled. Kate stammers and ever so slowly break the hug. "So… we good?" She asked. Humphrey nodded in confirmation. "We are good". And with that Humphrey hopped into the driver seat and drive away in his Lamborghini Veneno. "See it's not that bad right Kate?" Amanda said. No response. "Kate hello?" Princess asked when Kate didn't move. She put her hands on Kate's shoulder and she immediately fall to the front nearly face planting herself. She is in a somewhat comatose state with a content smile. "Oh dear, we better get her home fast" Princess said picking Kate up. She, along with Sweets and Candy carry Kate away from the parking lot.

It is a good day for Kate.

A/N: Hey all! It's been a while and I know while this is a bit shorter but I think if I start it all the way from Kate waking up it would be a bit repetitive so I decide to do something different for this chapter.

Anyway, since we already have Kate for four chapters, I am thinking of shifting the point of view to Humphrey. It is experimental and let me know if you want the next chapter to be written from Humphrey's point of view or stay with Kate's!.

A figure stands on top of a building observing the pedestrian below. It wears an all black outfit and the hood covers most of his facial feature save for his muzzle which is hidden beneath the pulled up scarf. A car appears and park to the parking lot. Two wolves emerge from the car. Luna is talking endlessly to Humphrey on how she missed the pepperoni pizza and wants to order a stack of them. The figure remains still as the pair enters the pizza restaurant.

"So we are finally able to find them, right on their birthplace" Another figure appears beside the first one. "Then it is settled. The plan will continue as expected". The two continues to observe the place. "What should we do now?" The second figure asked. "For the time being we will do nothing but to observe them from a far. We cannot interfere with their lives for now" The first figure replied.

"But when the time comes? Will they be ready?" The second figure asked again. The first figure did not answer. Its eyes glued to the restaurant. It stands up and turn back to the second figure. "They will be ready. I can assure you that".

The two then suddenly vanished into thin air, as if they never exist there before.
