Paul jumped out Bella's window and tried to take many deep breaths. He sprinted towards the Cullen's house. He transformed half way and went into a full run.

Images of him ripping off Edwards's head flashed through his mind. He snarled and tried to fun faster the way to the Cullens house seemed to be taking longer now that he wanted to get there.

Paul! Paul! Paul don't! Stop. Paul!

He ignored his packs calls and continued running. Jacob jumped out from the trees, he was in his form and he stood his ground. Paul growled at him.

I do not have a problem with fighting you Jacob.

Stop this Paul.

He hurt her Jacob! He bruised her.

Jacob cockedhis head, growled and stepped back to let him go. Paul continued his run and Jacob ran to his flank.

The Cullen's were already outside. Edward stood in front of his family. "Is Bella okay?"

Paul growled and got ready to lunged, Sam and the rest of the pack jumped out of the woods. Sam growled at Jacob before turning to Paul.

You will not hurt the Cullen's. Not today.

Sam he bruised her. I don't care if he meant to or not.

Sam growled and towered over him. Paul growled and moved around Sam and lunged at Edward.

Emmett knocked him away before he reached him, Paul went flying into a tree and whimpered. Esme and Carlise exchanged looks. The pack started to get rowdy. Jacob moved over to Paul and nudged him with his head. Paul shook and stood up.

Alice looked at Jasper and reached for his hand he connected their hands and stood close by her. "We don't want any problems." Carlisle shouted over the noise.

Paul snapped at him and Jacob growled at Edward. Carlisle stepped in front of him and stared at Jacob. Esme moved to his side.

The pack inched forward. Paul and Jacob circled around the Cullens. Leah rushed toward Alice. Alice let go of Jasper's hand and ducked under Leah, she turned quickly and dodged Leah again.

Jasper pushed Leah away from Alice and Seth ran forward. Sam gave a sharp bark. The pack got quiet and they all looked his way.

They have done nothing wrong! You all had your fun. Now stop.

Sam…he hurt Bella Seth whined, bowing slightly.

Bella is not the packs concern!

But Sam! Jacob joined in.

Sam growled and walked towards Jacob then Paul. Neither one of you imprinted on her. We will not fight because of you two cant control your feelings. She is not our concern. Go.

The pack turned slowly. Leah snapped at Alice before running off with Seth. Sam barked at Jacob and Paul and ran off. Paul stood his ground and Jacob nudged him.

Jacob growled an nudged Paul again. Paul glared at Edward and slowly backed up, before following Jacob away from the cullens.

Rosalie sneered. "Even when she doesn't know us Bella puts us in danger."

Edward rushed over to her. "We all know how much you hate Bella, but keep your comments to yourself." Rosalie smirked. "Why don't we just forget about her? She sure forgot about us."

Edward grabbed her and Emmett was on him quickly. He grabbed his arm and looked at him. Edward pushed Emmett back and turned back to Rosalie. Alice ran in front of her.

"Edward stop." She said trying to calm things down.

"Move Alice!" He shouted. Jasper moved to her side. "Edward." He said sternly. Esme gently moved Alice out the way.

"Now this is enough. I will not have you all fighting amongst yourselves!"

Edward groaned and ran into the forest. Esme looked at Rose. "You need to stop tormenting him."

Rosalie chuckled and went into the house. Jasper looked at Emmett. "Really?"

He just shrugged and went in the house after her. "Rose...What is your problem?"
She paused and looked at him.

"My problem? My problem is no matter what she does, she always manages to put us in harms way, things were so simple before Edward decided to fall in love with a human!"

Alice walked in slowly. "Well she is his choice." She said sharply. Rosalie "So we all have to continue to suffer for her?"

Alice frowned. "Rose"

Rosalie rolled her eyes and stalked out the room, Emmett ran his hand through his hair and followed behind.

Bella woke up and looked around. She went downstairs and was surprised to see that Charlie wasn't home. She made her self a quick meal of Bacon and eggs and went back up to her room.

"Bella!" She jumped and looked at her window. She walked over and frowned. Edward stood at the bottom. She opened her window. "What do you want?"

"I need talk to you." Bella scoffed and walked away from the window. Edward thought for a moment. He jumped up to her window and let himself in.

Bella jumped off her bed. "Wha-what How did you? What do you want?"

She touched her wrist and she shuddered lightly. Edward put his hands up. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just needed to tell you how sorry I am." He said slowly.

She cocked her head. "What are you?" She asked moving a little closer.

"What?" He tried to hide his smile. "I noticed that you speak like you're from a different time. You're like freezing cold. You-" She stopped and ran over to her laptop.

He raised an eyebrow and sat on her bed. Bella thought a moment she typed in everything she said. She found a link named – The Cold Ones.

"I was reading this book, I found it sitting on my bed and checked it out." She explained focuses back on the laptop.

She scrolled over it for a second then she gasped. She picked up a book on her desk and read the page she last stopped at.

"What are you doing Bella?" Edward asked studying her. She showed him the book. Titled the Living Dead. He chuckled at that.

"You don't sleep." She finished her sentenced. "Yo-You are a-" Her mind was wandering and one imaged flashed in her mind.

Edward was crouched with someones arm in his mouth, blood dripping down his mouth as he frantically sucked away.

"What am I Bella?" Edward said standing; knocking her out of her thoughts.

She backed up a bit. "Should I be afraid?" He chuckled. "You weren't when we first met." She nodded. "Cool."

Their faces were inches apart when they heard a knock at the door. She turned and he gently grabbed her arm. "Don't answer it." She snatched away from him. "Dont touch me." ran downstairs.

He followed behind slowly. She answered and smiled wide. "Paul." Paul frowned and backed up slowly. She cocked her head. "What's wrong?"

Edward walked next to her and grabbed her waist.. Paul clenched his fist. "Why is he here?"

"He stopped by to talk." She said moving his hands. "Come in?"

Paul shook his head. "I don't want him near you ever again." Bella frowned. "I know you're looking out for me but I can and will decide who I hangout with."

Paul let out a breath of disbelief and started to shake. Edward stepped in front of Bella. "Paul think about where you are."

Paul took a few more steps back. Bella sighed, feeling a little guilty about snapping at him. "Paul? Paul what's wrong?"

Edward touched her shoulder. "Bella step back." She looked at him.

"Something is wrong with him. Help him!" Paul tried to calm down with Bella so close to him, he was starting to panic, he wouldnt be able to stop himself and clenched his eyes tight.

Edward shook his head. " I can't." He grabbed her arm. "Bella!"

She tried to snatch away from him. "Stop it Edward!"

Paul let out a low snarl. Bella looked at him and her eyes widened. "Paul?" He looked up at her and an image of Emily flashed in his mind, he shut his eyes again quickly.

"Take her" Paul thought angrily.

Edward picked up Bella and ran off with her. She held on to him. He stopped a while away from her house and set her down. "Whoa you're fast."

He nodded. "What was happening back there? What if he was like really hurt?"

Edward sighed. "It's complicated."

"I hope he's alright. I dont feel right leaving him Edward." He just looked at her. " He will be. Its fine."

"Is he like you?" Edward shook his head. " Not exactly."

"Then How do you know?" Edward chuckled. "I um can read minds."

"Really?" She asked stepping closer to him. "Yep I can read everyone's mind but yours."

"Is everyone in your family vampires?" He nodded. " Can they all do something special?"

"Well Alice can see the future and Jasper can-"

"Control peoples emotions." She finished slowly. Edward looked at her and smiled. "Yea. Thats right"

"Can we go back to your house? I wanna see them again." He nodded and reached for her but drew back. " I dont wanna hurt you again."

She got a little closer. " You wont."

He touched her carefully and helped her onto his back. "Hold on tight Spider monkey." She giggled and he took off.
