Chapter 4- reunion

she was looking at him and Kazama gently touched her lips with his finger and said " You know you're my most prized possession". Chizuru laughed and said " I like your joke its cute". Kazama replied sighing "I'm serious you know.". He was getting a little frustrated.

He then placed a soft kiss on her lips making her stop laughing. They were kissing gently and then Kazama stopped suddenly glancing over towards the window and he said " What do you want".

Chizuru blushed looking over and said " someones here". She then saw Amagiri by the window and he said " Kazama, We have problems dealing with the shinsengumi".

kazama got up and said " I will deal with it. Chizuru you stay here even though there precious to you". Chizuru was afraid hijikata and kazama would fight to the death over her so she said " please don't hurt them".

kazama looked disgusted and said " I will try not to". Kazama got his sword and he was about to leave and she said " Please be careful I don't want to see you hurt again". Kazama looked back and smiled then disappeared with Amagiri.

Somehow she felt worried to her stomach that he and the shinsengumi would hurt each other. She looked up at the sky and prayed for both their sakes.

-shiranui-

He sat there biting his finger not knowing how to go about this. He looked up again then he put away his guns. He whistled and said " you know how to act tougher than you look huh"

Male demons know there mates scent so as soon as he smelt her he didn't like it. This female demon in front of him was his mate that he would have to eventually have to fuck her.

She smiled at said " You're not human are you judging by how your eyes followed my speed". He replied " Don't butch me in with those pitiful creature there nothing but scum. Humans there disgusting".

She laughed and said " My name is Suzuki rina what yours?". He looked at her and said "shiranui".

He didn't like his mate at all she was too cheerful for him but on the other hand Kazama's mate was the total opposite of him but it didn't seem to bother him. He thought for a moment and wondered whats the big ordeal about having a mate anyways.

Was it sex maybe or was it there blood. He stared at her and her face was like a dolls. She had curly black hair and blue eyes. He stared at her for a bit and said " What is a female demon like you doing at this time of day".

Her smile slowly faded and she said " I was looking for someplace to stay because I have nowhere to go". shurani looked at her and frowned he know where this was heading he would have to invite her to stay at the hideout because she was his mate that he would have to get along with her sooner or later.

She was a beauty so she could probably be suitable to mate with. He cleared his mind and thought no he wasn't that kind of person to invite someone to stay at the hideout and be loved by but her lips drawn him in towards her.

He wanted to fucking punch himself for what he did next. He smirked and said " Well you can stay at my hideout but you're going to have to pay me for it." His one thought was that mates could be scary.

just a couple of word flew out of her mouth and he was immediately drawn to her. Her perfect face,her scent, and especially her lips were so seducing. She smiled and said "I will repay you somehow for your kindness i appreciate it but if you try to do anything I will kill you".

Shurani laughed and said " don't worry i wouldn't do anything i have no interest in you anyway this is not anything out of peer kindness i just did this cause of honor towards a rare female demon".

She smiled and said " good I hope we can become friends".Shiranui despised people saying there friends he wasn't anyone friend but he did grow up with kazama when they were teenagers and they were like friends..

she gave him a kiss on the cheek and said " This is a start of a good friendship". He glanced the other way out of embarrassment that she actually got to his heart for a moment.

when he felt her gentle lips up against his face it felt like he just wanted to push her on the ground and have sex with her. Mates are sure dangerous when it come to losing your sanity over them no matter if you're a brutal murder they will reach you if you like it or not.

Inside he chuckled and thought well kazama im surprised that you haven't mated yet with your mate. This is the first time i saw this woman and i feel like I'm lost already. This isn't like me at all...

-chizuru-

Its been a whole 3 hours since kazama had left her there with her heart still pounding. She began to feel worried about the shinsengumi and him. Both sides were both strong. She felt a tear run down her face as she saw memories of the shinsengumi flash in her mind then the sweet recent moments with kazama.

She didn't want them to cross swords for her she loved the shinsengumi and kazama… She felt herself get cold and multiple tears ran down her face. She clutched on to her kimono and ran towards the door. Her thought were that she would stop them from fighting.

She opened the door and ran into somebody. She looked up and saw 2 red eyes staring back towards her but with black hair hanging in his face instead of blond.

She panicked and pushed away. He grabbed her hands and said " You're not escaping I'm going to take kazama privilege of mating with you".

she pulled there hands apart and said " I don't want you to touch me ever again". He smiled and said " What are you going to do about it are you going to kill me over such stupid things you're so weak you can't even kill a human".

When chizuru heard that she felt her heart ache. He was right. Every Time she starts a battle she always needs saving. He pushed her up against the wall and smiled. Chizuru pushed on his chest trying to push him but it didn't work.

Daisuke touched her arms and said " Should we continue where we left off". She then kneaded him in the gut. He backed away pissed and said " Now you have done it looks like I'm doing it the hard way".

She ran down the hall and he caught up to her very fast and next thing she knew he threw her on the futon she was lying on just a couple minutes ago.

Daisuke smiled and whispered " I tricked kazama... today was the last day you would ever see him". Chizuru then felt a sharp pain go threw her chest and a tear ran down her face. She looked at daisuke and said "what do you mean".

Daisuke looked at her and brought his lips towards hers. Chizuru flinched and felt his lips touch hers. She squeezed her eyes together as his sharp nails pierced through the skin on her arm.

Chizuru heart was pounding terrified of what was happening to her and for kazama's life. A flood of emotions rushed through her body.

Daisuke licked the blood of her arm as she stared at the ceiling worrying for Kazama. He saw she was showing no emotions and ripped the side of her kimono witch startled her. He smiled and said " Finally you're not lost in your thoughts".

Chizuru now felt very fearful and tried to get up but got pushed down violently. Now she felt hopeless and the only one who can save her was kazama.A butch of tears ran down her face and the only thing on her mind was her soon to be mate… She loved him dearly and didn't want to see him get hurt.

-Kazama-

He was looking around with amagiri but they couldn't find any trace of the humans. He then saw some people who looked like the shinsengumi near by. The people were running towards the front door of the satsuma domain. They started walking towards them and kazama felt the presence of another demon approaching. There were actually multiple demons approaching them.

He felt rain run down his cheek and he looked up at the sky. Somehow he had a horrible rush of fearfulness rush threw him for no never just now. He never felt this way something was wrong. He glanced at Amagiri and said " After we finish this were rushing back to chizuru".

Amagiri said nothing and just nodded his head. It started to downpour on them as the pierced through their own kind. Blood all over their face and hands But the rain washed most of it of only leaving some red smears on their faces like paint.

Kazama was feeling all sorts of emotions he never felt before then a vision of his brother appeared in his mind. He gripped on to his sword and started to rush then he felt the presence of shiranui and some female demon come up behind him helping out.

Kazama glanced at them and said " Who is this female shiranui". Shiranui slightly blushed and said " Some female demon I decided to help out of honor because of the rarity. Kazama smirked and said " Is that so i don't think that all to it though. This is nothing like you to help someone because of honor".

Shiranui shot bullets threw the ones attacking and said " we came here to enjoy the fucking fun so i will just enjoy myself while im here." Kazama shook his head and cut down as many as he could to see chizuru. This had to be his fastest battle ever. He usually takes his battle slow but this was a different matter he has a bad feeling about what was happening.

He looked one of the people in the eyes he was killing and watched him fall to his death. Blood all over the ground getting washed by the rain. He never wanted to see this happen to the one he cared for finally noticed that he was in love with her not just because she was a female demon or his mate but because of who she is.

He felt the rain run down his face and then said " You better be okay dammit".

-chizuru-

Time was flowing slowly like this was a horror. She felt her kimono slide down exposing her chest. Her heart felt like it was burning. She struggled but it was useless. She was going to be raped by this man.

Tears were pouring down her face and she felt hopeless. She was actually really hopeless but this time no one was going to help her.

He took his nails and tug it into her back. she opened her eyes widely as the pain hit her. They then touched lips. Chizuru then bit his lips as hard as she could and pushed him off of her. He got up pissed and wiped his mouth off and it healed by the time his hand was brought to his sword.

He then said " guess im going to make this really difficult". Chizuru looked him in the eyes and saw pure hatred rising in the dark ruby eyes like it was a curse.

She moved every time he took a step closer. Finally she backed herself up against the wall. He smiled and said "What's wrong. You finally realized nobody coming to get you". He took his sword and stabbed her threw her shoulder.

She was about to scream and he covered her mouth as the blood dripped on the floor. He smiled and said " Kazama's dead and humans can't save you because they're weak. so you're out of luck in this situation."

Her thought was. She had to do something or he would rape her. I need to get to kazama if he is still alive as soon as possible. She could feel her demon powers kick in and daisuke backed off a bit grinning.

She yelled " Kazama not dead and humans are not weak and don't think I'm weak bastard." She scratched his face and he backed away more. She could tell daisuke was growing impatient with her and that he was fed up. surely he would kill her now.

She took the sword out of her shoulder and felt adrenaline rush threw her body. She swung the sword at him and he ended up grabbing it with his bare as soon as he was distracted with the sword she kicked him hard in the gut sending him flying towards the wall.

He got up wiping blood from his mouth and she saw his eyes flickering between red and yellow. finally his hair turned white and his eyes were yellow. She knew she was in trouble. He spit blood and said " You done it bitch. Looks like my plans are going to be delayed."

She felt terror for a moment and flinched away. He was fast in his demon form. He was already in front of her. He took his sword from her and hit her in the gut with the hilt of the sword.

She fell to the floor trying to reach for her short sword. Emotions fled threw her about all the memories she had with the people she loved. She has to reach it. this was her last chance of defeating him.

She almost had it and next thing she knew she saw blood. It was her own. Daisuke stabbed her thigh. Then after that she felt pain and saw darkness...

-Kazama-

Kazama felt something was terribly wrong. They were almost finished with the enemy's and he had to leave in to Shiranui, Amagiri, and Shiranui woman. He told Shiranui and Amagiri that he was leaving and they glanced at each other.

Shiranui the said " It's about her isn't it. Having a mate is so troublesome.". Kazama glanced and said " looks like you will be going threw the same problems with her". Shiranui looked the other way and said "It isn't what it fucking looks like". kazama then left as fast as he could get to her. He tightened his grip on his sword.

Kazama felt a pain threw his heart as he rushed thru the enemy trying to get to where chizuru was. He sensed something was definitely off with her. This is the first time he felt this way about someone. The feeling of concern and...love.

All these new feeling he started to feel would fade if he found out she was killed. He narrowed his eyebrows and thought no she wouldn't be killed. If anyone harmed her he would rip them to fucking shreds. Chizuru was his and no one else s.

-Daisuke-

He watched her and she definitely was passed out. He walked over to get a new pair of clothes for her. It would be an embarrassment for him if people saw him carry a half naked girl on the searched and he found a kimono in the closet. He slowly undressed her and put the new kimono on her. He admired how fast the wounds were healing.

It was dark and rainy outside so no one would see him carrying chizuru around. He lightly touched chizuru face and said " Its almost time jade. We just need to do a few more things." He picked her up and started walking.

The rain was pouring on them so he couldn't go as fast as usual. That means they wouldn't get to where he wanted to go until midnight. He looked up at the sky and felt humans nearby. He scanned the area and there was no place to hide. He would just have to act normal.

If the humans bothered him anyways he would just kill them. He felt the humans get closer and soon he realized some of them weren't normal. Some of them took the drug that turned you into a fake demon.

He smiled and thought well this will be interesting. He put chizuru down on the ground and turned to face the fake demons. They were from the shinsengumi. He took out his sword and walked toward them.

One of them spoke "what have you done to chizuru,you bastard". Daisuke smiled and said " You know this women." One of the others spoke up and said "Who are you". Daisuke replied "I'm a demon."

You could tell all of them were getting pissed. Especially the one with the long black hair and purple eyes. Daisuke thought well i better get this over with before there's more interruptions. The one with the spear attached first while the one that looked like a kid got chizuru.

Daisuke tried to get over there but the guy with the spear distracted him. He felt his demon blood flow threw him and his hair turned white. He went to attack the kid and the guy with the black hair blocked his attack. Daisuke got pissed and said "You're just humans." Daisuke had enough he was going to kill them here and now.

chizuru

Kazama wasn't dead. Right. Thats impossible he's very strong. She felt a pain threw her heart and thought what if he is. She felt her eyes tearing up. chizuru realized she was sleeping but didn't want to open her eyes if it was just Daisuke.

She heard a lot of commotion and that startled her. she shot open her eyes and realized she was in Heisukes arms. Was she still in a dream. She pinched herself and she wasn't in a dream. This was mumbled " heisuke is that you!". She felt her heart pound and she realized it was. He looked down and replied " Who else what it be". She smiled and said " You're ok thank goodness." She hugged heisuke.

He put her down and she looked over and saw hijikata and daisuke fighting. She felt a rush of panic and thought of how strong Daisuke was. She tried to run towards hijikata but heisuke grabbed chizuru's arm and shook his head.

He smiled and said " Don't worry hijikata is strong.". She replied "So is Kazama's brother". Heisuke looked at her confused and said " Kazama has a brother?". chizuru nodded. saito came over and said " That explains why they look alike and both have similar fighting styles. "

Chizuru nodded one more time and felt panic. She could feel Daisuke getting agitated by the very second. She looked at them fighting and felt her panic get worse within the minute. Was hijikata going to lose. She felt her eyes tear up.

All she could hear was swords clashing and her heart thumping very loudly over concern. She looked up and saw that Daisuke took a step back and put away his sword. He spoke a few words and smiled. she couldn't hear what he said to hijikata but then he disappeared along with the wind and rain.

She felt relieved it ended well. she fell to her knees and held on to her chest with her hands. She looked up at hijikata and he reached out his hand towards her. She smiled and took his hand gently.

Kazama

He finally got threw the enemy and was headed towards where chizuru was finally. The only problem was that the rain was slowing him down. This was the first time he ever felt like this for anyone and he didn't want to see it disappear. THINKS BACK

When he was a kid the only one who liked him was his older brother. The rest of his clan only liked him because he was going to become the head of the clan. Kazamas mother didn't want him and his father only looked at him as a mere tool. His older brother was the only that actually liked him.

Then that ended on that day when their father killed daisukes lover. He had to protect their father because if he didn't he would be a traitor and so would Daisuke for killing his own blood. That was the only reason he stopped daisuke that day.

After daisuke had hated me I had no one. He trained with shiranui and then soon after that he met Amagiri. They became allies and worked together. Then there was the day I was fighting with the shinsengumi and she came rushing to their aid.

After i realized she was a female demon i just wanted to play fun and games with her and the shinsengumi. I never imagined I would develop these sort of feeling for her. The rain poured down his face as he rushed to where she last was.

He still was no where near there yet.

chizuru

She felt happy she was walking besides the shinsengumi again but she was still worried about kazama. She wanted to feel the smoothness of his lips against hers again. She had told the shinsengumi everything about kazama and his brother. the only thing she left out was what happened between her and Kazama.

She kept on feeling pains in her chest about what Daisuke told her about kazama. She kept on thinking about him being dead. She clawed her arm just the thought of it. As her and the shinsengumi were walking all she could think about was kazama.

She fell in love with him in such a short period of time. She didn't know if he loved her back but all she cared about was her feeling towards him. She wanted to cry but she stopped herself. Everything was alright right?

Kazama has to be alive. She looked at the moon and prayed he was ok. She knew he would come to see her soon. Right?
