Chapter Four
Marley's POV~ I don't think I've ever seen Ratchet so mad.
At least, not around us.
Apparently, Kaitlyn had grabbed his wrench in her wolf form and she started playing with it until he caught her and tried to get it back.
We are all watching as Kaitlyn and Ratchet fight with the wrench, pulling back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth.
"Will you guys stop it already? Just drop the wrench!" Pope snaps at the air and I giggle at my brother's irritation.
Paige walks into the room just as Kaitlyn and Ratchet drop the wrench. Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead and Wheeljack drive into the base. I glance at Miko who's tuning her guitar.
Charlotte takes out her phone and walks to a speaker. She plugs in her phone and that's when Why by Sabrina Carpenter comes on.
"Take a seat," Kaitlyn sings, playfully punching Pope in the shoulder, "right over there, sat on the stairs."
"Stay or leave," Paige sings, slinking her arm around my shoulders, "the cabinets are bare and I'm unaware of just how we got into this mess; got so aggressive. I know we meant all good intentions."
"So pull me closer! Why don't you pull me close? Why don't you come on over? I can't just let you go!" I sing, running around Arcee's pedes.
"Oh baby! Why don't you just meet me in the middle?" Charlotte sings, raising an eyebrow as she crosses her arms with a grin, "I'm losing my mind just a little."
"So why don't you just meet me in the middle? In the middle," Paige sings as she twirls around.
"Baby! Why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind, just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle. In the middle," I sing, flying into the air.
"Oh, take a step," Shiloh sings, skipping along beside me, "back for a minute, into the kitchen. Floors are wet. And taps are still running, dishes are broken."
"How did we get into this mess? Got so aggressive. I know we meant all good intentions," Pope sings.
"So pull me closer! Why don't you pull me close? Why don't you come on over? I can't just let you go," Griffin sings.
"Oh baby! Why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle? In the middle," Demetrius sings as he sits on the floor, cross legged, "looking at you, I can't lie. Just pouring out admissions. Regardless of my objection, oh."
"And it's not about my pride. I need you on my skin. Just come over, pull me in, just," I sing.
"Oh baby. Why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle? In the middle no, no," Kaitlyn sings.
"Baby! Why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little! So why don't you just meet me in the middle? Oh, in the middle!" Paige sings, twirling around more.
"Baby! Why don't you just meet me in the middle, baby? I'm losing my mind just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle?" Demetrius sings, giving me a wink.
I smirk, "middle! In the middle! Middle!"
Charlotte smiles at me and I start laughing. So does Kaitlyn. Then Pope.
We turn when we hear clapping and I blush furiously as the Autobots clap their servos. Well, except for Ultra Magnus.
"That was amazing! I didn't know you guys sing, Bulkhead says.
"We do. Just not around others," Paige says. Pope gives her a look of skepticism.

Pope's POV~ I cross my arms as I turn to Paige. For a sixteen year old, she sure has a lot of honesty.
"Look who's talking," I say.
Charlotte rolls her eyes.
Ms. Darby walks in. I sniff the air. I lick my lips.
Charlotte walks over to Ms. Darby and she hands her a cup.
"Mm!" I exclaim, licking my lips in delight.
Marley walks over to Charlotte, grinning, "is that what I think it is?"
Charlotte smirks and she shows her the drink.
Shiloh cups his hands together and he yells, "hot chocolate!"
"Ha, ha!" Griffin says.
"Ooh we've got it!" Kaitlyn grins, barely able to keep a straight face.
"Ha, ha!" Demetrius says, tapping his feet in rhythm.
"Ooh we've got it!" Marley says, her wings fluttering.
"Ha, ha!" Paige and Charlotte say.
"Say we've got it!" Shiloh and me smile.
"Hot chocolate!" The eight of us cheer before we each take a cup, bidding our thanks and thank you's to Ms. Darby.
Charlotte sips hers first and shs nearly drops it, her eyes growing wide as she covers her mouth, "I think I just burned my tastebuds off!"
"Pfft- haha!" I laugh, pointing at her.
"Shut up or I'm splashing this in your face!" She snaps, giving me a glare.
I quickly try to shut my mouth as my eyes slightly widen with fear at her words.
'She's more intimidating than the Devil himself,' I thought before I carefully take a sip.
"Hey!" Paige says and we all look to see Griffin holding her cup in his other hand.
"Griff, give it back," she says, whining like a German shepherd puppy.
"Ah, ah! Remember what happened last time you had sugar?" Griffin asks and me and Kaitlyn burst out laughing.
Paige's cheeks turn red, "that was one time. Only once."
"Who wants to go to the beach?" Marley asks.
"Ooh! I do!" Miko instantly speaks up, jumping to her feet.
"Same here!" Raf grins.
Kaitlyn turns to Optimus and Ratchet, "you have holoforms, yes?"
"Yes," Optimus said with a nod.
"Let's go then! Get your bathing suits," I say to my sisters and Kaitlyn gives me a blank look before she takes her shoe off.
I shout in surprise and pain when her shoe hits me in the back of my head.
Griffin shakes his head as we all go to get our bathing suits.

Miko's POV~ I run into my room, grinning from ear to ear. I'm so excited to get to the beach. I go to my closet and I take out my bathing suit. It's grey with pink and black stripes. I put a shirt over it and I put on some shorts.
"You ready, Miko?" Bulkhead asks from behind the door, knocking.
"Ready as I'll ever be, Bulk!" I say, racing over to the door. I open it and my best buddy's in his holoform.
He's wearing a white shirt and red shorts.
My cheeks get warm.
"You all ready yet?" Jack asks from the main hangar.
"Better not keep 'em waiting," Bulkhead chuckles and I snicker as we both leave the room. I make sure I have everything.
"Towels," I say to Jack.
"Check,"
"Swimming goggles?"
"Check," Raf smiles.
"Sunscreen?"
"Check!" Demetrius laughs.
"Hmm... bathing suits?" I say playfully.
"Check-a-leck-a-ding-dong," Pope grins.
"Alrighty then. We're all set," Nurse Darby says with a chuckle.
The bots transform into their vehicle forms and we hop in before we leave.

Shiloh's POV~ I sit in Optimus' alt mode, watching things pass by as we get to the beach.
"Why is Shiloh riding with Optimus?" Pope grumbles as he's riding with Miko and Kaitlyn.
"Because he asked," Paige says bluntly, "there was no debate in this." She's riding in Smokescreen's alt mode with Griffin.
"It still ain't fair though," Pope said in a country tone.
"Why? Do you like him?" Kaitlyn jokes and everyone except Optimus, me, Ratchet and Ultra Magnus crack up.
"That ain't funny," I say, copying my brother.
"Oh come on. It was pretty funny," Miko giggles.
Ratchet scoffs, "Optimus wouldn't like anyone if it cost him the Matrix."
"Yeah and I bet he wouldn't like a medic if it came up and crawled up your tail," Kaitlyn mumbles but me and Charlotte hear her and we stifle our laughter.
"We're here," Ms. Darby says as we all come to the beach. Almost everyone else is there.
"Is everyone's wings concealed?" Charlotte asks.
"Don't go all Elsa on us, Char. Of course they're hidden," Demetrius says as the bots slow to a stop in the parking lot.
Charlotte rolls her eyes as we all hop out, "if it weren't for this crowd of people, I would kick your tail all the way to Heaven and back, Demetrius."
"You love me," Demetrius says with a small smirk as he winks at her. Way to be optimistic, Deme.
She points at him, "leave me alone."
"Let's go! Let's go!" Marley giggles as she runs up to Griffin's side.
He laughs softly as Ms. Darby rubs the sunscreen on Raf's arms and legs. The bots are in their holoforms as they get out of their alt modes.
Bumblebee looks to Ratchet then he looks at Optimus.
"Bumblebee, I know what you're thinking and the answer is no," Ratchet says and he whines softly.
Raf smiles as Ms. Darby finishes putting sunscreen on him.
Charlotte takes out a frisbee. Pope immediately sets his sights on it.
"Don't you dare," Kaitlyn hisses. Pope and Charlotre smirk as they exchange mischievous glances.
Charlotte tosses the frisbee.
"I GOT IT!" Pope shouts, running forward. He crouches low on all fours and he leaps into the air, catching the frisbee into his mouth like a dog.
Miko, Wheeljack, Smokescreen and Bulkhead crack up at our brother's antics.
Marley, me and Paige run out to the water. Bumblebee, Miko, Smokescreen and Cliffjumper run after us, laughing.
Arcee sits down on a beach towel as she watches us with an amused smile.
Raf and Jack are making a sandcastle and Ratchet sits in a chair, underneath the shade. So does Otimus and Ultra Magnus.
Wheeljack and Bulkhead are playing with a volleyball out in the water.

Arcee's POV~ It is a pretty good day. No cons, no battles. Just a good vacation.
"Hey, Arcee, you wanna help make this sandcastle with us?" Jack asks as he looks to me.
"Ah, don't let me interrupt you. You two have fun," I say with a smile.
Suddenly a surprised squeal escapes me as my sun hat is suddenly off my head and Pope runs away from me.
That little troublemaker.
I jump to my feet as I laugh, "Pope! You troublemaker! Bring back my hat!"
Pope waves it at me, blowing a raspberry, "gotta catch me first, 'Cee!"
I take the challenge instantly and I start to run after the Angel.
Marley walks out onto the sand as she sees a hermit crab. She kneels down and carefully places her finger on the shell.
I walk up beside her and I chuckle softly.
Curious, that one is.

Jack's POV~ I glance over my shoulder before I see Vince and a few of his friends. "Oh boy. Look who's coming," I sigh deeply. Raf looks up and Marley, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Smokescreen, Bumblebee and Shiloh follow our gazes.
"Hey, Darby. You here at the beach too?" Vince asks with a cocky grin.
"Yeah, Vince. And we were pretty much enjoying ourselves until you showed up," Miko hisses, narrowing her eyes.
If looks could kill, Vince would end up running for the hills. And it takes me a few minutes to see that Paige and Demetrius are staring at Vince with an unknown look in their eyes.
"It'll be school tomorrow anyway. So don't even think about messing with us," Charlotte snaps in annoyance.
Vince scoffs, "wouldn't have it any other way, goth." He looks to Paige with a smirk and he turns and leaves with his friends following.
Charlotte looks at Optimus once they're out of earshot, "can I kill him?"
"No," Ratchet instantly says, giving her a stern glare.
Charlotte huffs and crosses her arms over her chest.
"Don't give him the satisfaction of you thinking about him, okay?" Cliffjumper says, "he's just looking for trouble."
"Fine. I would've loved to kick his butt though. God forbid, I would've loved to do it," Charlotte says, raising her eyebrows.
"Charlotte," Griffin says firmly.
"Hey! I got nothing to lose!" She says, throwing her hands up into the air.
We hear a clicking and chirping noise and turn to see Paige kneeling down in front of a couple of dolphins.
Is she... talking to them?

Paige's POV~ I knelt down, holding out my hand towards the dolphin before me. I click and chirp and squeak, tilting my head slightly.
My eyes glow with curiosity and the dolphin clicks and chirps before she swims forward and nudges my hand with her muzzle.
Optimus walks up beside me and he kneels down.
The dolphin moves away shyly but I quickly chirp and click at her, assuring her as my eyes glow a bright sapphire blue color.
Optimus holds his hand out and the dolphin nudges his palm with her snout, clicking and chirping. The dolphins then swim away and I wave at them with a giggle.
"That was amazing, Paige," Optimus says with a soft smile.
I blush at his compliment and I nod in thanks.
"How'd you do that?" Raf asks me in astonishment.
"Paige always changes her eye color to sapphire blue because it's her favorite color in the world. It helps her talk to animals," Kaitlyn says as she walks over to us.
"Alright, Pinhead!" Pope says in a country tone, suddenly wearing a cowboy hat as he points at Kaitlyn, "your time is up!"
"Who you callin' Pinhead? I wanna be Dirty Dan!" Kaitlyn says, jabbing her finger in Pope's face.
"What makes you think you can be Dirty Dan?" Pope demands, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.
"I'm dirty," Kaitlyn says with a cheeky grin and I facepalm as Shiloh bites his lip to keep from laughing. Wow.
Kaitlyn lets out a yelping grunt as Pope suddenly hits her with a sand-made bat.
"I say I'm Dirty Dan," Pope says with a grin.
"Both of you quit it," Destiny says, making them both scream in surprise. Pope jumps into Kaitlyn's arms and I squeal as I run to my big sister.
"Desi!" I say, hugging her.
"Hey, lil sis. How are you?" She chuckles.
"I'm good," I say. My eyes grow wide when I see her.
Amarys smiles as tears come to my eyes and I run to her. I tackle her into a hug as we both laugh joyfully.
Amarys chuckles, "my little diamond rose."
I purr sweetly as she caresses my face. Kenny smiles.

Kenny's POV~ The sight of Amarys and Paige is really sweet. I can see why God gave them, Destiny, Jessica, me and Simon the exception of being together back at home.
"Hey, Kenny Cookie," Marley giggles as she and Shiloh walk over to me.
"Haha, hi, Marley, Shiloh," I say with a smile.
"You still eating chocolate chip cookies early in the morning with that sweet tooth of yours?" Shiloh asks playfully.
I wave off the playful comment with a laugh but I nod my head and we three laugh together.
"Who are these guys?" Miko asks curiously.
"Miko, this is Destiny. That's her brother and sister, Amarys and Ryland. And this is Kenny," Shiloh says.
"Hiya," I say, giving a shy wave.
"Nice to meet you Autobots," Destiny giggles, giving Optimus a playful wink.
"How do you know they're Autobots?" Jack asks, his eyes wide with shock.
"Angels can tell just by looking at them," Amarys says, "and Optimus has bright eyes."
Wheeljack and Smokescreen snicker at the comment while Optimus blinks twice. Bet the Prime wasn't expecting that.
"Thank you?" Optimus says, a bit startled.
"You're welcome," Destiny says and Amarys rolls her eyes with a huff. Paige nuzzles against her shoulder, purring sweetly.
Griffin walks over to us, "they're here too, aren't they?"
Destiny lets out a heavy sigh and she nods her head.
Paige whimpers and Amarys holds her close. Knowing her, I know she won't let anything happen to Paige.
