Daisy had said she wanted to go back to the castle. Daisy asked if Shulk could bring the body, so they can bury him behind the castle. Shulk reluctantly agreed. They made their two-day trip to Peach's castle. When they got there Daisy told Shulk to go in the back. Daisy entered the castle, still teary-eyed. Peach ran up to her, concerned.
"What's wrong Daisy" Peach asked.
"Luigi is dead" Daisy barely dished out. Peach put her hand over her mouth. Yoshi heard from around the corner. Peach went over to comfort the crying dinosaur. Daisy explained her friend was out back, with the body. The three of them went to the back and saw Luigi. They buried a hold and put him in. Then put the dirt back in. Daisy kneeled down, in silence. Yoshi's color started to fade. Peach had noticed the fade. She grabbed him and walked away, Shulk stayed with Daisy.
"Yoshi you alright" Peach asked.
"The merge separated me into three different Yoshis" Yoshi said.
"Why would that even happen" Peach asked.
"Not sure, but without my other two parts I start dying. It started" Yoshi said. He collapsed. Peach checked his pulse, he was still alive, but barely. She told Daisy and Shulk about the Yoshi situation. They needed to find the other Yoshis. But how? They needed to wake Yoshi, maybe he knew where to find them. He didn't fully know, but he had an idea. He had an obsession over space before the merge. This could mean there might be a Yoshi near a space-like area. The other would most likely be in an area that looks like a school crafts project. The group decided to head to the space Yoshi first. They had assumed it would be the hardest to find.
Samus had recently crashed her ship. It was attacked by the one the only Ridley. He was tasked to slow Samus down, not kill, but slow down. She crashed in a mechanical area. This area reminded her of when she was on her travels. But why is this here. She looked around, finding possible artifacts to help remake her ship. She made it into the commander's room and saw a red dinosaur. She asked if he knew where to find some certain space pieces. The dinosaur turned around.
"I see a space lady" it said.
"Not sure if I should take that as a compliment" Samus said to herself.
"I want to see your strength, only if I deem you worthy will I help find the parts" it said.
"Who are you to determine my worthiness" Samus thought.
Samus and Yoshi fight
"Am I worthy" Samus asked.
"Very" the dinosaur said. "I'm Yoshi. If I help you can you help me".
"With" Samus asked.
"Finding my other Yoshi, we are dying. The only way to stop it is if we merge into one again" Yoshi said. Samus nodded and Yoshi smiled. Yoshi led Samus to where he had seen some parts for the ship. Samus and Yoshi went to Samus' ship. Samus fixed the necessary upgrades. They both got in and flew off. While flying Yoshi explained in more detail about the issue with him and the other Yoshi's. Samus had then said she'll help with finding the other two. Yoshi then pointed out the fact he saw a familiar woman in a pink dress, and another woman in an orange dress. Yoshi told Samus to stop and land there, and she did. Yoshi and Samus got out the ship and ran to the women. They were happy to see each other, Samus couldn't help but smile. The man behind them was carrying Yoshi.
"Man, he is much heavier than he looks" Shulk complained.
"Just deal with it" Daisy said. Shulk put the green Yoshi in front of the red one. The red Yoshi held the other Yoshi's hand and caused a huge light to shine. Someone from afar saw this light. He thought this light meant something it wasn't. The reason being was that the last time he had seen a light like this, he was attacked. He doesn't remember who did the attack, but whoever did it took his friend away. He was on a journey to find him. He ran towards the light. The two Yoshis merged into one.
"How long have you been able to split apart" Peach asked.
"Who knows" Yoshi winked. "There is still one more, he is most likely in a dark cave. We can't waste time". Yoshi was attacked by a flying leaf. Samus looked for where it came from and saw a plant. This plant had a blooming flower on top.
"Give me Charizard back" the plant yelled.
"Charizard" Shulk asked. The plant shot some more leaves. This time towards the princesses. They weren't badly damaged. No where near it. Just a small cut on their cheeks. Shulk looked towards Samus and she nodded.
"You can't just run up and attack random people pal" Samus said.
Samus and Ivysaur fight
During the fight Samus was explaining how they had nothing to do with Charizard. Or as far as she knew. When the plant looked at the cuts he had caused, guilt flooded his veins. He walked over to Yoshi and some type of spore came from it's bulb. It healed the cut, leaving nothing but a scar. He did the same for the princesses. He introduced himself and announced his journey. He, and his friend Squirtle were looking for Charizard. They woke up in this world together and some blue guy took Charizard. Ivysaur and Squirtle decided to split up and try to find him. Yoshi had mentioned that he was looking for his last part of himself. The group looked at each other and decided. They would split into smaller groups and help Yoshi or Ivysaur. Samus, Shulk, and Daisy decided to go with Ivysaur. Yoshi and Peach decided to help find the other Yoshi. They said their good byes and left. A day has gone by, no progress. Night came. Peach and Yoshi decided to sit and relax. Peach started to cry.
"What's wrong" Yoshi asked.
"Not only is Mario missing, but Luigi is now dead" Peach said.
"Well, let's not dwell on the past. We must move forward" Yoshi said.
"You're right, but I hope Mario is ok" Peach said laying down to go to sleep. Yoshi went down as well. On the other hand, the other team wasn't asleep. They continued on their journey to find Charizard.
Lucas was the base with the team that Tabuu had entrusted with him. Lucas had learnt that a team is searching for Charizard. Charizard is a member in his team. During that and the last day the villains were tasked to grab a certain people. Charizard was one of these people, along with Olimar, Sheik, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff. This team didn't include Joker and Piranha Plant since they weren't drugged like these were. Piranha Plant was tasked with making more of the drug. His poison is a big ingredient in the creation of the drug. Another big ingredient was the Picmin's essence. A certain essence can be drained from Olimar's poor picmin. For a while Olimar was question their disappearances, until he was attacked by Dark Samus and broght here. That's when the drug he had inadvertently helped create was used on him. It was used on him and others. Lucas sent the team to attack the group. The team was led by Captain Falcon. He made a plan once he saw the group they were after. Jigglypuff was to run up and make them fall asleep, then they can attack them. When Jigglypuff was sneaking up on them she noticed that one of the members of the group was missing.
"Looking for someone pal" Shulk said picking up Jigglypuff. She tried to sing, only for her mouth to be stuffed with trash. She coughed out the trash and the other group members unleashed a very powerful attack. Captain Falcon simply called for his team to attack. Ivysaur noticed that Charizard was in this group. He also noticed the color difference in his eyes that wasn't there before. He saw the same color in the others' eyes. They weren't acting with their normal nature. Charizard flew an attack at Ivysaur, which knocked him out of his thoughts. Samus looked over and started to run and help him. While going to him she was attacked by small, colorful creatures. Samus picked on off and crushed it.
"You killed my Picmin" Olimar angrily said.
"You attacked my friend" Samus said.
"Screw friends" Olimar said.
Samus and Olimar fight
After a while the team was defeated. They all disappeared. Ivysaur started to look down. Daisy put a hand on Ivysaur's leaf.
"We'll find him" Daisy said.
"They were being controlled, we can fix them" Ivysaur said.
"Are you sure" Samus asked.
"100%" Ivysaur said.
"Excellent deduction Ivysaur" a majestic lady's voice sounded. Everyone looked up to see a bright light ball fly towards them. The light started to drift away, and they saw a blue dress. Only when her face was shown was she recognizable.
"Rosalina" Daisy said surprised.
"Yes Daisy, I'm here" Rosalina said. "I need to take you guys somewhere". She put out her hands. Everyone looked to Daisy, who nodded. They held her hand and they teleported away. It looked like they were in space. Shulk fell to the ground, Diasy checked on him. She realized he was heavily bruised. Rosalina floated in front of them. She issued for a Luma to take them to her library. Ivysaur and Samus stayed with Rosalina.
"What is this place" Ivysaur asked.
"It's called the commet observatory, at least when it was in space" Rosalina said.
"Aren't we in space" Samus asked.
"If we were in space, Daisy and Shulk would've died instantly, we are just very high above the ground" Rosalina explained.
"What are we above" Ivysaur asked.
"Nothing you would recognize, but Bowser's castle" Rosalina said. She led them to the main area. They saw a bright light in the middle of the observatory. It had floating platforms circling it. While Rosalina was leading them to the highest point of the observatory, they were hearing some fighting.
"What's that sound" Ivysaur asked.
"You'll see" Rosalina said. When they made it to the highest point Samus recognized the fighter. She backed up when the fighter looked at her. It was Ridley. "I see you're still training Ridley" Samus looked at Rosalina. Anger clouded her judgement and shot her. She got back up and looked straight at her. She knew why Samus attacked.
"You work with Ridley" Samus yelled.
"This Ridley, yes" Rosalina said.
"Then you're an enemy" Samus said. Ivysaur just watched, confused.
Samus and Rosalina fight
Rosalina was kneeling down. Ridley came up to Samus, she prepared for attack. "I'm sorry for what your Ridley has done to you, and your family" Ridley said.
"My Ridley, what do you mean" Samus asked.
"He's not from your world, he is from a different one. I brought him here" Rosalina said standing up. Samus, and Ivysaur looked confused.
"Did you bring us all here" Ivysaur asked with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"No, but I found a way to bring other people here to help. On the other hand, bringing Ridley here ended up ruining the device" Rosalina explained.
"Device" Samus asked.
"I called it a DS, short for Dimensional signaling, it grants the ability to bring people from worlds that could provide some help" Rosalina explained.
"Is it possible to remake" Ivysaur asked.
"It is but I don't have the material to remake it. The materials are in Tabuu's lab" Rosalina said.
"Tabuu" Samus questioned. Rosalina led her and Ivysaur to the library. Rosalina explained all they needed to know about this place, and what was happening. They were wondering how she knew about all of it. Rosalina had explained that she has a spy. They thought it was Ridley, but it's actually someone who was brought to this world at the same time they have.
Lucas brought the failed team back to the base. He talked to Tabuu about their failure. Tabuu was willing to give them a second chance. Lucas just went with it, but he didn't want to give them another chance. They failed and deserved to die. But he pushed those feelings aside. He had bigger matters to attend to. A rat. He knows there is someone spurting out secrets. He needed to find out who it was. He called the entire group together and stood in front of them.
