DISCLAIMER:

I, Impudent Miscegenation, of Fanfiction (dot net), do not own or have any affiliation with the creators of Danny Phantom. All rights respectfully go to Butch Hartman and Nickelodeon. I don't gain material profit from my works featured here, I write for my own amusement.

So I was watching The Green Mile and, well, this happened. Enjoy~

Summary: Really just a series of oneshots that just go from one end of the spectrum to another. No real plot other than lil mini-plots (as in, there's nothing huge that connects all the oneshots). May or may not be some continuation here, all of this is really just depending on what you guys like. If I get enough requests (via PM or review, I don't care which) to do a continuation or even another chapter on something similar, I might just consider it.

Chapter 4: Healer

When Skulker attacked Casper High at 2:35 in the afternoon, not a single student expected for anything to go wrong because Phantom would take care of the ghost before the mech could do any lasting damage. Unfortunately, the Red Huntress wanted to intervene on the two ghosts by shooting at Phantom and throwing him out of battle rather than the self-proclaimed 'Ghost Zone's Greatest Hunter'. The ghost boy ended up in an empty classroom, knocked unconscious with a bleeding wound to his head, now in his human form.

With Phantom out of the way, Valerie Gray tried to take Skulker on by herself. While the human girl was undoubtedly talented, her suit and equipment were simply obsolete in comparison to Technus' upgrades to Skulker's metallic form. The girl was blasted out of the air and sent tumbling down the hallway of Casper High. Valerie groaned before she was greeted by a blackness, her suit melting away back into a bracelet. As the Red Huntress' identity was revealed to the students of Casper High, gasps resounded through the halls as the curious students lingered in their classroom's doorways. Skulker twisted his metal face into a sick grin.

"And with you out of the way, I won't have to share my prey." He growled before raising a large gun, the whine of the weapon only lasting a few seconds before the mechanical ghost fired the shot.
"No!"

It was Kwan Ishiyama, Valerie's boyfriend of three months, that jumped between Skulker landing his ecto-blast on the unconscious Red Huntress. It was his screams of agony that woke Valerie up in enough time to suck the ghost up into a thermos.
"Kwan! No! Kwan! Stay awake! Somebody call 9-11!" Valerie screamed, tears streaming freely down her face. The students now raced toward the scene unfolding before them. Lancer tried to pull students back, to no avail.

"Paper Towns, children, give the boy some air! Foley, I know you have some kind of cell phone on you; dial for an ambulance!" As Tucker was about to do that, a sharp voice entered the chaos.
"Not good enough. He doesn't have the time." Danny Fenton pushed people out of his way, blue eyes wide. He had a nasty looking bruise on the side of his head and people briefly wondered where he'd gotten it from before he knelt beside Kwan and moved Valerie's hands. "Back off for a moment." He ordered and the students-aside from Sam Manson and Tucker Foley-found themselves shocked at the quiet boy's sudden change in demeanor. Danny ripped open Kwan's jacket and shirt to reveal the life-threatening chest wound. The halfa placed his hands against the wound; Kwan hissing softly through his teeth, barely maintaining consciousness. Fenton nodded to Kwan.
"Just stay still" He murmured, his voice taking on a new, whispering quality. The students found themselves backing away with various exclaims as Fenton's hands began glowing a white-blue color.

"Et alter in bona. Et ligabunt te in caritate." The boy's voice murmured, only it certainly didn't sound like Danny. The noise that he had made echoed slightly and sounded almost ethereal. He moved his hands along the edges of the wound and they turned from a seared-black and shining red to a soft pink before fading to peach flesh. Danny started to tremble, but his hands and otherworldly voice remained steady. "Immunitatem a poena. Per stellas." He swallowed thickly and he moved his hands across Kwan's chest, the glowing only getting brighter as Kwan began healing. The students, so focused on the magic that Fenton seemed to be using to save their classmate, didn't notice that the red spot on Danny's chest was spreading and clinging to the previously-white fabric. "Et dabo tibi animam meam. Ego et vos anima mea." Kwan inhaled sharply as the center of his wound ebbed and healed over, becoming nothing but a pink burn. The boy blinked his almond-shaped brown eyes in shock. There was no pain anymore! The shock turned to horror as he noticed the blood pouring from Fenton's chest and now nose. The black haired and blue-eyed boy shook from the effort of staying awake and yet he kept the glow. Sam and Tucker both shouted for Danny to stop but it seemed the boy couldn't hear their pleas. "Carmine hanc." The boy coughed up blood on his shirt and now more people were screaming at the boy to stop; Tucker was now dialing 9-11 and screaming at the operator. Danny choked on his own blood. Kwan shook his head with wide eyes.

"F-Fenton, stop! I'm okay now!"

"Et ego dabo vobis omnia." He managed to whisper before his hands stopped glowing and Daniel Fenton fell backwards, away from Kwan. The smaller young man trembled and seized. Kwan jumped up and gasped.
"O-Oh my god! S-Someone get help!" Danny gasped and shook his head; or was he still convulsing?

"N-No… I'm f-f-fine. I'll be… Fine." He trembled and gasped for air, choking slightly on something before he rolled onto his hands and knees and vomited. Only it wasn't the contents of his stomach; the halfa voided himself of a glowing, shimmering blue liquid. He coughed for a moment longer before pulling himself away to lean against a breathing was labored and he waved Tucker away as the tech-nerd offered to call an ambulance.
"N-Nah, just… Just gimme a sec…" He murmured and continued shivering. Valerie looked at the boy's blood-soaked shirt and immediately pulled it up to find an almost completely-healed replica of the shot that had nearly taken Kwan's life-had Fenton not did… whatever it is that he had done. The young woman removed her hand, letting the shirt fall back to its previous position, before going back to Kwan so she could shower him with affection. Sam scowled at the panting boy.
"You idiot. You should've stopped earlier." Danny licked his lips and shook his head.
"If I didn't finish the whole thing we both would have died, Sam. F-Figured you would have known that one, with all your occult knowledge…" He grinned stupidly, his breathing still off but his trembling having stopped. Kwan, mystified, looked from his chest to Danny and back again.
"W-What did you do?" Danny grinned and waved his hand in a 'it was nothing' fashion.
"I just, kinda, took it. I took it back to make it so you weren't hurt." The youngest Fenton sighed, his breathing slowly returning to normal. He looked to the still-unimpressed Sam Manson with a stupid grin. "I'm exhausted." He murmured and Sam rolled her eyes.

"Idiot." She mumbled, not without affection. She brushed his hair away from his face and shook her head as the 3 o'clock bell rang, signalling the end of school. No student or faculty member moved a muscle. Danny Fenton grinned and it was noticed that he appeared completely healthy, aside from the blood stains on his shirt and face from where his nose had bled. The boy chuckled weakly.

"So, I guess I have some explaining to do?"

So Danny's 'magic words' are Google Translate's English to Latin of my original little poem here:

I wrap thee in blessings

I bind thee with love

Protection from your pain

Brought by stars above

I give to you my life

I let you take my soul

Accept this incantation

And I shall make you whole
