The Happiest Days of Our Lives

Summary: For 24 hours, Natsu and Gray must endure the sweetest temptation. [NaLu] [Gruvia]

Part II – Don't Leave Me Now

As Lucy walked, a giddy bounce in her every step, Natsu trailed behind, hypnotized by her pretty scent, soft hands and sweet lips.

It was weird; he'd never thought of Lucy like this before. He wanted to hold her and touch her and kiss her and make her smile the way she did and—he didn't understand. Why was he just noticing this now?

'Cause that ain't Lucy! said a voice of reason in the back of his mind. It's an evil seductress!

Instantly, Natsu snapped out of his daze, now too aware of her warm hand intertwined with his. It was true! Lucy would never be so… bold, and say all the weird stuff she did! Never in a million years! Maybe if she were drunk—but she wasn't drunk right now, she was on some weird potion.

Oh, right, the potion! Lucy gave his hand another firm squeeze, sending an ice-cold chill shooting down his spine. What the hell was he getting himself into? Oh man, if Erza ever found out—he shuddered at the thought.

The weight of Lucy's hands felt heavier and Natsu's mind began racing. Okay, now was really not the time to panic, but dammit he was panicking because Lucy was taking him back to her place, worst part being he basically asked her to—but the point is he really, really needed to get out of this mess or else Erza would literally kill him, revive him then kill him again a thousand times over.

Quick, think think!

Swallowing, he said, "Um, Lucy…"

"Yes?" she replied sweetly, glancing over her shoulder.

He avoided her eyes, eyes fixed on the pavement. "I, uh, can't go with you yet."

Lucy stopped walking, turning to face him as she quirked a brow. "What?"

Glancing upwards, he scratched his temple. "I gotta, um… get some stuff! Yeah, gotta get stuff first."

Her lips curled into a sly smile as she leaned close, tracing idle patterns on his chest. "Like toys? You naughty boy…"

Natsu laughed uneasily, ignoring the shivers from her touch. "Yeah, that! You got me, ha-ha. So I'll, uh, meet you at your place, okay?"

She leaned forward and kissed him, making Natsu's eyes roll close because man, she really did taste yummy and sweet. She moaned before pulling away, and it took him a second to realize her lips were no longer on his as his eyes opened in a daze.

She smiled again, batting her lashes. "I can't wait."

Hell, neither could he. Just a smile and a kiss and he was sinking all over again.

Tilting her head, she tenderly stroked his jaw. "You sure you have to go?"

No.

"Yeah," he muttered, clearing his throat before nodding vigorously. "I gotta go, yeah yeah."

Lucy pouted before relenting, releasing a sigh. "Fine. Come back to me soon, okay?"

He nodded again, forcing a cheery smile. He watched too eagerly as she took a few steps back, blowing him a final kiss before turning on her heel and walking away.

As she walked further and further, Natsu's countenance fell and his head instantly cleared. Now that he could think lucidly, it was time to utilize his masterful skill of strategy—oh god where could he hide where Lucy wouldn't find him? To hell with upsetting her, at this point it was dangerous just being around her!

Suddenly, the heavens smiled upon him and gave him an idea—his house! It's not like she'd ever been there, right? It'd be the perfect place to hide until the potion wore off!

Natsu dashed to his home in the woods, feeling a rush of sweet relief when the small cottage came into view. Man, his house never looked so good.

He practically leapt at the door and swung it open, zipping inside and closing it behind him. He sighed in relief, wiping his forehead and sinking against the door.

Finally, he was safe—

He caught a whiff of sweet perfume and his eyes snapped open, freezing at the sight of light skin and blonde hair.

"L-Lucy!" he stammered. How did she find him?

The girl pouted in mock hurt. "What's the matter? You look scared."

"I'm not!" he retorted. "But how—when—what are you doing here?"

Lucy rolled her eyes and sighed. "Natsu, I know you. I can tell when you're lying." She walked towards him, and Natsu backed up as far he could against the door. "It's okay to be shy, you know."

He swallowed, a bead of sweat rolling down his temple. "U-Uh—"

"Don't worry," she murmured, her lips by his ear with her body trapping his against the door. "I'll teach you everything you need to know."

She was close, really close, and she smelled so good, fogging his mind again. Natsu's eyes desperately scanned the room, looking for anything to repel her.

He caught sight of raw fish on the table, making his eyes widen. Perfect! Lucy hated the smell of fish!

He quickly reached over and picked it up, rubbing it all over his chest like a maniac. He blenched at the smell, but he noticed her nose wrinkle at the pungent scent, giving him a glimmer of hope. Her face twisted in a way very reminiscent to the Lucy he knew, making that face she always had right before she smacked him. A relieved grin started to cross his features—hey, maybe fish was part of the antidote.

She leaned towards him and sniffed a few times, grazing her fingers along his abdomen. "Mm…"

Natsu immediately paled, stiffening under her touch. Okay, that was definitely not something Normal Lucy would do.

She suddenly dipped down and ran her tongue up the middle of his chest, making him release an unmanly yelp.

"What the hell?!" he cried, horrified.

Lucy giggled, licking her lips. "Delicious," she whispered before tilting her head and pressing her lips to his.

Damn it, how could his plan completely backfire!? His eyes squeezed shut as she pressed her voluptuous figure against him, which he could feel very well through the annoyingly thin fabric of her dress.

He kept his lips closed tight, refusing to kiss her back though every part of him screamed for him to. But no, he shouldn't, he had to look out for her—but she was doing some weird thing with her tongue that actually felt really, really good, and the worst part was it felt right, her lips against his. He shouldn't kiss her back, he really shouldn't kiss her back, and oh damn it he was kissing her back.

Her hands gripped his vest as his mouth slanted over hers. His tongue swept across her lower lip before swerving inside her mouth and tangling against her own, eliciting little noises from her that excited him as his hand held the curve of her back, drawing her closer.

Lucy pulled away and panted softly, opening her eyes with a radiant smile. Natsu studied her face, his gaze half-lidded as her hand caressed his cheek.

"You're such a good kisser," she murmured, humming as she slid her fingers down his cheek and traced his lower lip. "Mm, I can't wait to see what you're like with your—"

Natsu slammed his hand over her mouth, blushing furiously as his heart pounded erratically in his chest. "S—Stop talking like that!"

Her eyes sparkled in amusement. Lucy grabbed his wrist, keeping their eyes locked as she slowly licked his palm before sucking his fingers.

Natsu jumped as a pleasurable jolt shot through him. "H-Hey!" he cried, jerking his hand out of her mouth, only to trip over onto the couch as he stepped away.

She half-crawled over his torso, wrapping her arms around his neck and trailing kisses from his cheek to his jaw. The boy shuddered against her, his cheeks stained pink as his breaths grew ragged. She stopped just below his ear, sighing erotically and pressing her body further against him.

"Oh, Natsu… I just want to tie you to my bed and ravish you."

He choked, a wild blush spreading across his cheeks. "Huh?"

"Mm, I want to tear your clothes off with my teeth and put you in my mouth till you can't take it anymore." She eyed his body, running her hands up and down his bare chest while licking her lips. "You're such a tease, always wearing that flimsy little vest around me…"

"Uh, that's not—" Her nails teased his toned stomach, making him grunt.

"So strong…" she said breathily, lifting her eyes to his. "Can I lick it?"

He watched her tongue dart out and lick her upper lip, making his throat go dry.

She sighed once more, pressing a kiss to his collarbone. "Oh, Natsu… you make me so hot."

He stared at her, trying to get a grip. God, he couldn't think straight, his body was practically scorching and her touches sent delicious shivers up his spine. But damn it, this wasn't Lucy—she'd never do something like this!

He closed his eyes, trying to gather his scrambled thoughts. "U-Um, Luce… I don't—"

"Stop being so coy!" She scowled, lightly smacking his torso and sitting up indignantly. He flinched, surprised at her frustrated tone. "I know you like it! Don't pretend that you don't! You want me just as bad, so just get on with it!"

His eyes widened. Where the hell did this anger come from? Mirajane was right—this potion really was screwing with her emotions.

"Wait, Lucy," Natsu said, sitting up and gripping her forearms. "I don't think you know what you're saying. This isn't like you—"

She groaned in aggravation. "How many times do I need to say it? I want you I want you I want you—"

He held her wrists as she pounded on his chest. Man, her punches kinda hurt. What, did he have to tie her up or something to keep her calm—

"Tie me up?" she gasped, her eyes growing large.

Shit, was he thinking out loud?

"Uh, not tie you up! I meant—"

"Natsu, that's so…" She licked her lips. "…kinky."

"That's not it!" he yelled, eyes bugging out of his head.

Her eyes searched around his house, a smile crossing her face as she skipped away from the couch to pick up a roll of fishing wire. "We can use this!"

"No!" he exclaimed in exasperation, trying to snatch it away but she adamantly kept it out of his reach. "What happened to food? Or that boat thing you were talking about? The 'something under the stars' thing!"

She pulled out some of the wire and tugged it between her hands. "Ooh," she murmured, eyes widening in awe. "It's hard to break."

"Don't play with it!" he shouted, reaching for the wire again.

"Do you want it?" she teased, dangling it in front of him. "Take off your vest first."

Natsu's eye twitched. "Cut it out!"

"Hmm, maybe I should tie you up instead…"

"Don't get ideas!"

"Come here Natsu~!"

"Oi, don't get so close!"

"Don't be shy!"

"Quit it!"

"Good boys get nice rewards~!"

"Well I ain't a good boy!"

"Even better! I love bad boys…"

"Lucy!"

"Come on, just—oh!"

Her back bounced against the mattress as Natsu pressed his weight against her, pinning her arms above her head.

"Stop," he growled, his face inches away from hers.

His grip on her wrists tightened, making Lucy gasp. "Natsu…"

His eyes blazed fiercely, dominated by instinct.

She lowered her lashes, giving a dreamy look. "You're so cute when you're aggressive."

He blinked, his body relaxing. "Huh?"

She smiled sweetly. "You have warm hands. You know where they'd feel better? Underneath my dress."

Natsu blushed, groaning as he quickly pushed himself off of her.

Lucy sat up and shuffled towards him, promptly shoving his vest down his arms.

"Hey!" he cried as she tossed it aside.

"Much better." She smiled, taking his hands and guiding them to the straps of her dress. "Now do me."

"Don't say it like that!" he exclaimed, taking his hands away with a blush.

"Why?" she asked playfully. "Are you getting 'all fired up'?"

He twitched, "N-No!"

"You sure feel like it," she murmured, humming in approval as she touched his chest.

Natsu swallowed, small shivers coursing through his body as her nails teased his skin. "Lucy—"

She flashed an alluring smile before pouncing on him, making him fall back against the mattress with her lips on his. Natsu muffled a protest, his arms flailing around him as her legs tangled with his. Lucy smiled into the kiss, moaning softly as she trapped him under her soft body.

His head was spinning, his heart racing—he could feel the roundness of her breasts pressing into his chest as her talented lips sucked his tongue. The delicious friction of her soft curves against his hard body consumed him, making him release a groan of pleasure.

Her fingers stroked his palms, and for a moment he found himself relaxing against her touch until her hands gripped his and placed them above his head. He grunted and pulled away from her lips, his eyes snapping open only to find Lucy binding his wrists to the headboard with the fishing wire.

"Lucy! What the hell?!" Natsu shouted, jerking his wrists against the ridiculously tight knot.

Her brown eyes were bright, her face flushed with excitement. "Just relax," she said, placing a palm on his torso as she straddled him. Her thighs squeezed his hips and Natsu cursed nervously, a bead of sweat rolling down his cheek. She leaned close to his face, her warm breath tickling his skin as a radiant smile curved her lips. "I'm going to make you feel really good."

His eyes widened as he blushed. "What—!"

She slipped his scarf from his neck and wrapped it over his tied hands. Brushing her hair over her shoulder, she dipped her head in his neck and swirled her warm tongue around his pulse. His throat bobbed against her lips as Natsu gasped for air, his breaths harsh and irregular. His head strained back, a stifled moan escaping him as she traced the scar on his neck with her tongue.

Slowly sitting up, she roamed her hands along his chest. "My, what a cute little moan."

"Hah… Lucy…"

He looked at her under hooded eyes, making her smile. "Be a good boy now," she teased, brushing his lower lip with her finger. "And I'll reward you."

She bent down and nipped his collarbone, eliciting a jerk from the boy as his back convulsed. Her fingers pressed nimbly into his skin, dipping in the ridges of his muscles. She trailed kisses down the middle of his chest, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as her tongue flicked across his nipple.

Natsu stiffened, releasing a hiss as a chill shot up his spine. Her tongue was slick and wet and her cool hands felt heavenly on his skin—wait, he wasn't supposed to be enjoying this! But she was kissing down to his stomach and grazing her nails down his sides, her hair brushing along his skin as she moved. Fuck, just a little lower…

He rapidly shook his head, forcefully warding off the dangerous thoughts creeping in his mind. He desperately yanked against his restraints, trying to pull his hands free. Stupid unbreakable fishing wire! He would've just burned the stupid thing, but in this hazy state he'd probably end up burning the whole house down.

Damn it, he had to get out of this! He thrashed his body wildly against the bed, ignoring the wire digging into his skin, but Lucy instinctively locked her legs tighter around his waist. She leaned her mouth away as he struggled against her, twisting his body to nudge her off. But all his rough squirming against her soft body created delicious friction, and shit it really wasn't helping the situation right now—

Lucy suddenly gasped, making him freeze. Her eyes glazed over, and Natsu cursed. Damn it, she didn't feel how good it felt too, right?

"Natsu…" she said breathily, placing a hand on his stomach and lifting her hips.

Natsu tensed dreadfully. "Lucy," he choked, "don't—"

He groaned when she grinded against him, biting his lower lip. She rolled her hips again, her skirt riding up her thighs, barely creating a barrier as she moved.

"Nooo," he whined, but it came out as a strangled moan.

Lucy tossed her head back and clenched her fingers on his abdomen, whimpering softly as her thighs clenched around him.

"Ah…"

Natsu gritted his teeth, squeezing his eyes shut. Damn it, it felt too fucking good and his body was reacting.

"No…!"

Her hand gripped her opposite arm, her breasts bouncing with her vicious grinds. Natsu growled, straining his neck back and unconsciously thrusting against her.

"Nononono—" She swiveled her hips, rubbing against him just the right away, eliciting a low moan, "—yesyesyes—I mean—nononono!"

"Ahh… Natsu…"

The way she called his name, so throaty and sweet all in one, prompted his eyes to open and look at her. She was biting her lower lip, her pretty tousled hair perfectly framing her face and her brown eyes darkened in raw desire.

His body went rigid, blood pounding his loins.

Breathlessly, she whispered, "I can't…" She eased her body off him, and for a moment Natsu thanked every celestial being above until he felt her finger dip into the waistband of his pants. "I can't take it anymore—"

"Wait!" he shouted, yanking his wrists against the fishing wire. "J-Just wait!"

Her gaze rose to his face, blinking. He was panting heavily, his eyes wild and his face flushed darkly. Despite how warm his body was beneath her, he couldn't do this, not when she wasn't herself!

Something flickered in her gaze as she leaned back. Natsu exhaled a breath of relief—until he noticed the tears welling in her eyes.

Don't tell me she's going to—

"Why don't you want me?" she cried, loudly sobbing as tears slipped freely down her cheeks. "W-What's wrong with me? Am I not s-sexy enough? Not a good kisser? Why won't have sex with me?"

Damn it, Natsu thought, cringing with every tear falling onto his stomach. Now Erza and Mirajane were going to kill him!

"Luce," he called, pulling against the knot once more. "Don't—don't cry—"

"I p-promise I'll be good!" she sobbed, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "I read a-all about it! I just… I want you so bad! But you—you hate me—"

"I don't hate you!"

"Then why won't you have sex with me?" she wailed, slumping forward and sobbing against his chest.

Natsu winced. Oh boy. "You deserve someone better, Lucy! Someone that will treat you right, someone that's like a knight, someone—"

"But…" she sniffled, lifting her gaze and wiping her tear-streaked face, "that's you."

He stared at her blankly, a blush creeping on his cheeks.

She leaned forward again, and Natsu closed his eyes instinctively, expecting a smothering kiss—but instead, her arms wrapped around his neck in a gentle hug.

"You're sweet," she murmured. "Thank you."

His blush darkened, his face growing hot. Why did she have to say such embarrassing things?

He jostled his wrists, subtly hinting for her to release him from his captivity, but the girl merely yawned before nestling against him.

"I'm sleepy," she murmured.

Natsu frowned, tugging on his restraints, until a brilliant thought struck his mind. If she sleeps, the potion will wear off faster!

Of course! agreed Natsu. Gosh, he was so smart.

"You should sleep!" he encouraged, nodding eagerly. She nuzzled his collarbone, making him add in a stutter, "B-But not on me!"

"Mm," she hummed. "Sleep with me."

"I said not on me!"

But as she purred and snuggled into his chest, he sighed, finally relenting.

Struggling against his restraints once more, Natsu cleared his throat. "Uh, Luce, aren't you forgetting something…?"

"Hm?" she slowly lifted her head, blinking drowsily. "Oh, you're right." She stretched towards the headboard, pushing her breasts in Natsu's blushing face as she placed his scarf aside and undid the knot around his wrists. "There, now you can put your arms around me."

Once freed, Natsu sighed in relief, lowering his arms and tenderly rubbing his chafed wrists. Lucy resumed curling against him, nestling her face against the crook of his neck.

After a few moments, she grew still. Natsu drew a breath, subtly inching his weight out from underneath her—

"Noo," she whined, wrapping her arms around his torso and rubbing her cheek on his chest. "Stay with me."

"But, I gotta, uh—"

"I don't want a knight, I just want my dragon."

He blinked, staring at the top of her head before his face softened. Man, she was such a weirdo…

Well, as long as she slept, guess it wouldn't matter if they stayed in the same bed.

Gradually, Natsu relaxed against her. Lucy sighed, her warm breath passing over his bare chest and making him shiver. Within moments, her breathing became even, and she fell sound asleep.

Natsu glanced at her face; so calm and peaceful, as if she hadn't been trying to seduce him just minutes before.

He leaned his head back, resting against a pillow. A yawn escaped him as he stretched out his limbs. Fuck, what a day. Rejecting a girl sure was exhausting.

He eased his body, letting it sink into the mattress. Hm, Lucy's body actually fit quite nicely against his. She was a little heavy, with her massive chest and all, but not an uncomfortable weight.

Folding his arms behind his head, Natsu closed his eyes. Hopefully the next time he'd open them this whole crazy, crazy day would be a distant memory.

Lucy stirred a little, squeezing her eyes tighter to shut out the glare of the daylight streaming through the windows. She snuggled closer to the warmth radiating next to her, faintly wondering if she'd bought that bed heater she'd been looking at. But bed heaters weren't firm, and they didn't smell musky…

She slowly opened her eyes, letting her blurred vision clear before her eyes almost bugged out of her head. There was skin—naked skin. She slowly lifted her gaze, gasping at the sight of Natsu sleeping face, his pink hair sprawled messily over his forehead with his head turned to the side.

The bed sheets she was sleeping against—those weren't hers! The mattress, the comforter—it must've belonged to Natsu! But when did she end up in Natsu's bed?

She felt a weight at her hip, glancing down to find Natsu's arm slacked over her waist. A blush instantly colored her cheeks as she gently pushed herself up from his chest, his arm slipping off her.

She ran a hand through her hair, finding it tousled and tangled. Her dress—why was she wearing such a nice dress?—was wrinkled, the skirt hitched up her thighs and one strap slipped over her shoulder. Lucy swallowed nervously, glancing around her. How did she get here? Shifting her gaze to the boy, her eyes fell to his toned chest. Okay, he was shirtless, but why was he shirtless? Why were her hair and clothes messed up? Why—how did she end up falling asleep on him, and why were they sleeping so—so intimately together?

She tugged at her hair, desperately racking her brain for an answer, but she drew a complete blank! Why can't I remember what happened yesterday?! Think, what about the day before—

Natsu shifted slightly, stealing Lucy's attention. Oh god, maybe she should hide and figure things out first—but her heart raced and her feet remained planted as she helplessly watched his eyes drowsily blink open. She held a hand to her lips, tucking her chin to her chest to hide her blushing face as his gaze gradually settled on her.

He stared for a moment, dazed, before he suddenly jumped, falling out of his bed and crashing to the floor. Lucy screamed as he groaned.

"Are you okay?" she asked, peeking over the edge of the bed.

He nodded, eyeing her warily. Lucy blinked; he seemed hesitant to approach her, but he probably felt as awkward as she did with their falling asleep together—just falling asleep together, even though her slipping clothes and his shirtless body suggested otherwise.

"Are you… Lucy?" Natsu asked.

The girl lifted a brow. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Natsu blinked. Yesterday, she would've pounced him or said something weird by now.

"Like… are you feeling okay?" he asked carefully.

"Are you feeling okay?"

He glanced to the raw fish on the table before returning his gaze to her face. Yesterday, in that weird potion-induced state, she liked fish.

"Do you want raw fish?"

Lucy's face twisted in disgust. "Of course not!"

His eyes widened—holy shit! The potion had worn off!

"Finally!" he shouted, making the girl flinch at his sudden outburst as he stood up in excitement.

Before he could commence his victory dance, Lucy's timid fidgeting caught his eye.

"Um, Natsu," she mumbled, fumbling with her fingers. "How did I, um… get here?"

The boy raised both eyebrows. "You don't remember?"

She shyly lifted her gaze to his. "Remember what?"

A bead of sweat rolled down his face. She couldn't remember?! Was that a good thing or a bad thing?

"Uh, nothing," Natsu muttered, whisking his head away. Yeah, better that she didn't remember, for her sake. He really just wanted to forget the whole thing even happened.

"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked, leaning over and taking his hand to pull him upright. He tensed immediately at her touch, surprising her when he jerked his hand away.

"I'm fine!" he exclaimed, averting his eyes from her worried gaze. He quickly pushed himself up, ignoring the sting of pain from falling.

Her eyes fell to his neck, spotting a strange purple bruise on his pulse point. It looked… kind of like a hickey.

A fresh blush spread across her cheeks. "Natsu," she called softly, watching his eyes slowly meet hers. "W-What's that?" She pressed a finger to her neck. "Right here?"

He mimicked her action, finding his fingers pressing against his pulse. Immediately, he recalled the way her mouth sucked at his skin, making him stiffen as he hastily grabbed his scarf and tossed it around his neck.

"I don't know what you mean!" he said unconvincingly, faintly blushing as he stared at a corner. Man, he could only imagine the weird marks Lucy left on him with all the stuff she did to him yesterday.

Oh my god, Lucy thought, covering her blushing cheeks. Messy hair, falling clothes, hickeys…! Don't tell me—

"Did something happen last night?"

"What?!" Natsu asked, jumping back. "O-Of course not!"

"But… you—"

"Nothing happened, Luce! I swear!"

She really wanted to believe that, but there was too much evidence that pointed otherwise. "Where's your vest?"

"Uh," he quickly glanced around the room, "here!" He stooped down and lifted it for her to see, subtly wincing at the memory of potion-Lucy pushing it off and touching his chest.

"How did we end up at your house?"

Damn it, he just couldn't catch a break!

"Um, uh—we went fishing! With Happy! And I went swimming so I took off my vest and you put it on the floor to dry so I wouldn't burn it and uh, you know, it'd been a long day so you fell asleep and I fell asleep and um… good morning!"

She blinked, traces of red on her cheeks. "You promise?"

"Sure!" he peeped.

"I, um…" She stood up from the bed, fixing her dress before wrapping her arms around herself. "I think I better go."

Natsu scratched the back of his head. "Sure, whatever you want."

He followed her to the door, opening it up for her. As she stepped outside, she took a pause, glancing over her shoulder. Natsu blinked, staring back at her as she opened her mouth. He waited, feeling his stomach churn nervously because what would he have to lie about now—but she never said anything. Instead, she closed her mouth and shook her head, turning around and walking away.

Once out of sight, Natsu closed the door behind him, sighing and sinking to the floor.

Fuck, what a day…

Her moan rang sweetly in his ears as he kissed her, tugging on her lower lip before swerving his tongue against hers. Her nails scored through his hair, her legs tangled with his as his weight pressed into her. She tilted her head and opened her mouth wider, moaning once more.

Pulling away, she smiled devilishly as she turned them over, pinning his hands above his head. She attacked his mouth again, plundering it with her tongue as he groaned deliciously against her. Her lips traveled lower, kissing his jaw and his neck before licking along the curve of his throat.

He panted above her, his breaths rough and ragged as her tongue traced the scar on his neck. Her hands caressed his chest while she licked every muscle, eliciting moans above her as he breathed her name.

"Hah… Lucy…"

Lucy awoke in a cold sweat, panting heavily as her heart hammered inside her chest.

What on earth was that? Why would she be dreaming about Natsu like that?! But it felt so real, almost too real…!

No, no, she told herself, lying back down in bed. It was just a dream, just a really disturbingly vivid dream…!

On the other side of town, Natsu thrashed around in his bed, tossing and turning violently before waking up for the umpteenth time that night.

God damn it—the way she touched him, the way she kissed him… He'd been plagued with the disturbing memories during the day, but now he was having incredibly vivid dreams throughout the night too?!

"Fuck!" he cursed, smothering his face with a pillow.

That stupid potion had cursed him forever.

He'd never look at her the same way again.
