Inara 's P. O. V. middle of the day.

I'm currently sat in revision class next to Jean and Scott. When all of a sudden Hank came in and said

"Inara you're late for your Session"

"Damn, sorry Hank" I packed up my stuff before following Hank down to the training room on the lower level. When we stepped out of the elevator Hank said

"get changed and meet me in the training room in 5 minutes, no later" I just nodded and walked to the changing room. I could tell that hank was angry because of the tone of his voice. I put my school bag in my locker before changing into my training clothes. Leather trousers, black top, Leather jacket, thick soled combat boots and my Gauntlets that help to aim my powers. On the way back to the training room I pulled my hair up into a scruffy ponytail leaving two bits of hair dangling either side of my face. When the training room doors opened hank had transformed into beast and was in his uniform.

He chucked me a metal bow-staff and said

"get into your stance". I did still not saying anything. He got into his and then charged first. I blocked his movements but when they got stronger I said

"why are you so mad at me". I ducked under his staff as he said

"because for the past year you have been forgetting all of your training sessions"

"I'm not a child anymore, Hank, i don't need you telling me what to do"

"I know you aren't but to me and the professor you are still the little girl who broke in here looking food". I kicked his feet from under him and pressed the staff against his neck whilst saying"that was 4 years ago, Hank. I've grown up. I can control my powers and I'm stronger than I was"

"if you can control your powers then why have your eyes changed". Just then hanks pager bleeped from the side. I stepped back so he could get it. He then said

"I have to go upstairs, keep training"

"whatever" before he left he said

"we just was you to be safe, Inara. You know that". He then left and I carried on with my training.

After 40 minutes something didn't feel right. So I went to the computer and brought up the CCTV footage of the school. I was taken back by what I saw. Hank was unconscious on the floor and chained to the wall, the other students were sitting on the floor looking really scared. Dad on the other hand was in his normal wheelchair tapping on the arm rest. I grabbed a pad and wrote down the morse code to translate. It translated into

"Magneto and Mystique are in the school". Just then I heard the elevator open. So I grabbed my retractable staffs and went out the emergency door. The corridor opened up at the back of the house, by the garage. I climb up I took the vents and made my way through the building until I came out on the south side of the upstairs floor. I jumped out and hid behind a pillar and listened to Magneto talk to my father.

"where is she Charles. Where's Inara "

"I don't know, Erik. She went out this morning and I haven't seen her since" I then looked over and saw one of the students, Jackson Bower, staring up at me. At first I thought he was relieved to see me but then he said to Erik

"she's upstairs". Mystique followed his gaze and saw me. I stood up and leaned against the barrier and said

"what are you doing here Erik"

"look at you, little girls all grown up and is now a member of the X-MEN"

"didn't answer my question"

"I wanted to give you opportunity to reach the full potential of your powers by coming with me"

"like that's gonna happen" he smirked and I realised that mystique was gone. I grabbed my staff and then turn to my left. Mystique was running towards me and when she went out to punch me she said

"if you think he cares about you then you're wrong. He just felt sorry for you, that's why he took me in too". I blocked her kicks and said

"the difference between us is that I'm better in every way". I then did a triple backflip down the hall. And then jump over the railing. She followed me but landed in a small bit of water from a water bottle. I put out my hand and the water grew up her leg and covered half her body before I froze it. As I did that Erik yelled

"Inara !". I turned and saw that he had metal spikes pointing at the students and Jackson was with him. Eric had his helmet on preventing dad to do anything. So I put my staffs down and stepped away from mystique. The next thing I knew Jack was using his powers and flung me across the room. My head collided with the wall with extreme force and all I heard was two bloodcurdling

'CRACKS!'

I became extremely disoriented and was in extreme pain. All I heard was Dad yell

"INARA!". I slid onto my right side and saw my right leg was bent in a way it should never be. I was trying so hard to stay conscious but was quickly losing the fight. From what I could make out Eric, Mystique and Jack were making their way towards me. I managed to say

"Jack, please, don't do this".
