Dipper was working behind the register when Mabel got to the gift shop.

"No customers?"

"No customers" Dipper confirmed. "What are you guys doing up there?"

Mabel giggled. "Nothing."

"Didn't sound like nothing" Dipper said.

"When are you and Pacifica going out again?" Mabel asked, trying to switch the subject.

"I don't have another date planned" Dipper said. "Why?"

"I was wondering if you two wanted to hang out on Friday" Mabel said.

Dipper shrugged. "Sure, why not?"

Mabel beamed. "Great."

"Hey, do you wanna play hookie?" Mabel asked. "There aren't any customers."

"Sounds great." Dipper was.

Mabel ran back up to the attic. Candy and Grenda were on her bed, scribbling on a note pad.

"I thought you were working" Candy said. "Did your Grunkle let you leave early?"

"Nope" Mabel said, face planting into her pillow.

"Dipper and I are playing hookey! Any fresh ideas for the wedding?"

"We were thinking popcorn instead of rice!" Grenda said.

"That's clever" Mabel said. "Ooh, we could have the invitations in the shape of movie tickets. And that brings us to the next item of business; the menu!"

"We could have fountain drinks" Grenda said. "We could get a slushie machine!"

"Yass!" Mabel exclaimed. "Do you think we should have popcorn? It is the traditional movie snack."

"We're going to have popcorn thrown at the ceremony" Candy said. "We should definitely have candy. And some theaters sell hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza, and fries."

"A red carpet instead of an aisle!" the girls cheered.

Mabel was scribbling furiously on her notepad. "We could make mini movie posters for the invitations. And for seats we could directors chairs."

"What should the dress code be?" Grenda asked. "Regular movie attire seems too boring."

Candy snapped her fingers. "Everyone dresses up as their favorite movie character!"

"Yass, girl" Mabel scribbled it down.

"When are we going to tell Dipper and Pacifica?" Grenda asked.

A sly grin crept across Mabel's face. "About that..."
