im so sorry i has been forever since i updated and u all probably hate me for it and im so sorry :(

any way this chapter is kind of boring but important so ya enjoy

My earpiece buzzed as a call came in.

"Chaos's personal assassin speaking," I answered.

"Whats with the formal greeting? You sound stupid," the girl on the other line said stifling a giggle.

"Shut up, Celia, and Chaos made me."

"Sure he did," she said sarcastically. I laughed at her tone.

"So what did you call for it's rare for you to call me out of the blue."

She sighed, "The war with Gaea is over. The gods won. Many of the demi-gods are dead though. I few close to you are dead." She gulped. "There's Reyna, Conner Stole, and Malcolm. The information was almost impossible to get my hands on, even for me. Oh, and your girlfriend, Annabeth, is currently in a coma due to mental and physical shock. My guess is she won't be waking up for about another two weeks, the time of the summer solstice."

I stayed silent for a little while. "Thank you," I whispered into the earpiece. My eyes were trained on the milky way view from my window.

"I'll cover for you," she said sounding very upset. I was taken back.

"What?"

"Go visit your girlfriend, I'll distract chaos."

"You will! Gods thank you so much!" I spoke a smile brimming on my face.

"The things I do for you," she muttered. "You're going to have to make it quick I won't be able to keep Chaos busy for long."

"Got it, I'll be super fast!" I said reveling my inner five year old.

She laughed, "OK i'll go see him now." the earpiece beeped signaling the call was over I jumped out of my chair using mist to cover my figure. I ran through the halls of my department barely making a sound. I stopped and pressed my body against the wall at the last turn. Two guards were protecting the portal. I could defeat them easily but that would mean chaos finding out about my leaving.

"Sleep," I whispered. Their body's went slack, and they crumpled to the ground. I sprinted from my spot on the wall and positioned my self on the portal. "Take me to Annabeth's dreams." I felt all my blood rush to my head in a sudden motion. The pain was indescribable as each of my cells separated and were whisked away.

I found myself under water in an air bubble with Annabeth. She was dreaming of our underwater kiss. I was filled with a warm feeling. It was strange watching the memory version of you kiss your girlfriend while the current you was watching. After a moment, memory Percy dissolved and it was real Percy and dreaming Annabeth.

"Percy?" she questioned tears brimming her eyes.

"Its me wise girl," I replied as a smile gracing my lips. "I can't stay, but I need to remind you: accept immortality."

"Please stay with me Percy," she pleaded a scared look filling her eyes.

"I can't." And with that I vanished from her dream, and found myself back on the portal. I stepped off quickly and began walking back to my chambers just as I entered the hallway I saw Chaos round the corner with Celia trying to pull him back.

"Percy," he said stoicly, "I was wandering where you were, you weren't in your chambers." I felt my palms start to sweat.

"Um – I – ah - I had to go to the bathroom," I said making it sound more like a question. Chaos's eyes narrowed.

"You have a bathroom in your room." I didn't speak back, not knowing what to say. "What? Cat got your tongue?"

"No," I blurted out, "my – um – my toilets clogged." It was true, my toilet is clogged.

"Why don't you use your water powers to unclog it?" there was a ten second pause.

"That's a good idea," I said dumbfound. "I never thought about that. I'll go now! Bye!" I said sounding to excited. I sprinted down the hall my heart beating fast. If I got caught I would have had to go through THAT again. I shuddered at the thought.

Once I had unplugged my toilet I slumped in my chair. The only light in my room was from the bathroom. I felt tears prickle at my eyes. Seeing Annabeth again hurt, a lot. Everything I did reminded me of her. Her beautiful long locks. Her grey eyes like a hurricane of wisdom. Her pink plush lips. I missed her.

There was a knock at my door, "Come in."

Celia opened the door a crack, "Nice cover. Um – I – my toilets clogged," she said imitating me in a stupid man's voice.

I smirked, " It still worked though."

"Yeah," she giggled. "Don't do anything that could get you in trouble, chaos is still suspicious."

I stood up and hugged her, "I missed you so much," I said my voice muffled by her hair.

Her arms wrapped around my waist, "I missed you too." We stayed like that for a few minutes before she spoke again. "Percy, I tapped into a earpiece that was speaking to Aether. He was saying that Aether is tired of the gods, that he wants them gone." She took a deep breathe, "We have another war on our hands."

well i hoped you liked it sorry there were probably a lot of mistakes and i changed my name i used to be percy jackson forev but im not any more
