A.N.: Um... hi! I know I haven't updated in forever, but hopefully this extra long chapter makes up for it! It's five pages long on word, while most of my other chapters are between two and three, so it's almost like getting two chapters for one! Well, hopefully you enjoy it...

{No One's POV}

Seth blinked in confusion, his sleepy eyes open slightly wider than they were. Gluttony – or Gilbert, as Seth had called him – quickly pulled the toe headed boy away from the flock. Now that they were standing side by side, it was easy to tell that these two were not only brothers, but twins. Aside from the different hair color, the slightly droopy shape of Seth's eyes and Gilbert's razor teeth, they were identical.

"Seth, we need to go. Now." Gilbert whispered, tugging his brother away from the flock. Seth opened his mouth to protest, but fell to the ground unconscious instead. Gilbert's eyes widened in panic as he picked his brother up and carried him away. He was sure that these people would do something terrible to him if they caught him, despite the fact that they had saved his sister. Being raised to trust nobody except his family had taken a toll on him.

Iggy staggered to his feet at the sound of Gilbert's voice. He was pretty sure that the kid was harmless, but it was always better to be safe than sorry. The sound of retreating footsteps annoyed him a bit. What was the kid's deal? "Come on guys, let's go visiting." He suggested. The others all grunted in agreement and followed Gilbert.

Gilbert retreated to a booth nestled in the back of the restaurant. The rest of his family was all lounging about it, waiting for their food to arrive. At the small boy's approach they sat up straight. "Oh great, Seth's asleep already? I thought we'd still have at least 15 more minutes." One of the boys grumbled.

Gilbert frowned at his family. "The people are here… The people Warren and I fought, and the ones that were hiding in the trees." He panted. Warren perked up and smiled. "Great! Then maybe we can find out more about them." He said. Gilbert looked at his brother aghast. "But what if they don't like us?!" he demanded. "Oh don't worry, we like you just fine!" Angel chirped. The flock had approached while the sins were too busy to notice.

Nudge resisted the urge to mutter "speak for yourself", and instead satisfied herself by examining the people crowded about the table. Lust was currently unconscious, her white hair hiding most of her sleeping face. She was leaning against a black haired, older boy. He looked like he was around 16 years old, and had highly styled spiky hair. He was pretty good looking, she had to admit. Next to him was Wrath, who had been called Warren by Gilbert. His eyes were brown now, instead of the red they had been. Contacts helped make him look less menacing. Next to him was the only brown haired person in the group. His long hair was pulled into a short ponytail and his hazel-green eyes were glittering eagerly. He appeared to be around her age, and didn't seem threatening. There were three empty seats, indicating that another member of the family was currently absent.

The eldest boy glanced at the newcomers thoughtfully. "So, you're the ones that took care of Lucy, huh?" he asked, indicating the girl that was currently sleeping in his arms. Angel nodded. "Yup! Iggy found her all caught up in a tree and led us back to her so we could take care of her." She said sweetly, pulling Iggy to the front of the small group. The older boy gave him a careful look over and nodded. "Well, thank you all. I suppose I should introduce us, huh? Hopefully you won't mind the fact that I'm using our 'normal' names, but I don't want to risk being overheard here." He whispered.

He adjusted his sister a bit and sighed. "Right, so you've already met Lucy, Warren and Gilbert." He said, indicating the kids as he named them. "Then the snoozing boy is Seth, Evan is the overly chipper one and I'm Greg. Percy's also running around somewhere, but he's not here right now, so he doesn't matter." He said with a smirk. Evan slid out from his place at the booth and took Iggy's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir! I'm terribly sorry that you're blind though." He said.

The flock jumped a bit at the boy's quick observation, but Greg merely face-palmed. "Really Evan? Really? You have no tact." He sighed. "Sorry if he offended you, he's a bit of an idiot like that." Greg grumbled. Evan rolled his eyes. "Oh come oo-on. It was so obvious that he was blind! I thought I was being polite!" he huffed. Warren quickly slipped out and took his older brother's arm, pulling him back to the table. "Just ignore him, he gets stupid when he's hungry." The younger boy said.

As if on cue, Gilbert's stomach began to growl. The little boy looked embarrassed, but his family merely glanced at the clock. "Damn thing must be slow." Greg commented softly. Iggy was about to ask what the hell was going on, when the sound of approaching footsteps interrupted him. Nudge turned to face the newcomer nervously. Percy was carrying multiple bags of fast food under his arms, but his cold eyes still managed to look intimidating.

Still, this didn't make him any less drop dead gorgeous to Nudge. He was easily more handsome than anyone she had ever met before, and she had to actually remind herself to close her jaw as the tall sin took his place at the table. "So, I see we have guests." He said softly. Greg shrugged a bit, looking bored. "Yeah, apparently they're the tree-dwellers that took care of Lucy." He said. Percy nodded and tossed a bag of food to Gilbert, who caught it and quickly took his place at the table after propping his twin up in his allotted chair.

"Well then, I suppose we should thank you. However, I hope you will forgive me if I am still a bit suspicious. After all, we are a rather unique family. There are few out there who are kind to us after realizing this." Percy said. The rest of his family fell silent and stared at the table thoughtfully. Angel shifted uncomfortably. "Um, but we're not exactly a normal family either, so maybe… We could work together to protect each other? I know you guys are good guys, and we're not bad either, and there seems to be a lot more bad guys than good guys out there right now, so maybe we should stick together, so that when the bad guys come the good guys and fight back stronger."

Percy gave her a searching glance and turned to her other friends. "You really want us to trust you that badly?" he asked evenly. Angel nodded energetically and smiled. "Really." She assured him.

{Max's pov}

Fang and I had finally received our order and were heading back to the booth we had left the others in. Unfortunately, they weren't there. I sighed and flung myself onto one of the overly colorful benches. "They just couldn't sit still for ten freaking minutes, huh?" I asked. Fang shrugged and grabbed a burger. "I'm amazed Nudge moved." He admitted. I chuckled. "Well, if she saw Percy the others were probably trying to stop her as she chased after him." I muttered.

Fang nodded slightly, and then turned his attention to the door. A moment later it opened, allowing at least ten familiarly super model-like people to enter. "We've got company." He breathed. I sprang to my feet and growled. "Great timing. Think they planned it?" I asked. Fang merely shrugged and slid to a fighting stance.

The Erasers glanced around the restaurant and, satisfied that there were too few civilians to really worry about, split into two groups. One of the groups turned to me and Fang, while the other headed for the group of teens at the back table. I glanced around for exits, but they were all being blocked from the outside by even more Erasers. And as if this wasn't bad enough, the family with the little kid was still there. Great.

Fang and I stood back to back and prepared to fight for our lives.

{no one's pov}

Percy's eyes narrowed as the door swung open. "Well, well, well… seems we have more guests. How unpleasant." He whispered. He glanced at the clock and smiled. "They have wonderful timing." He turned to Seth, who was just rousing from his sudden nap. "Seth, you and Gilbert watch over Lucy. If anyone comes near, protect her. Now you," he turned to the flock, "I suggest that the younger ones stay with Lucy. Please don't take offense, but it's going to be hard enough for us to remember that the older ones are not our enemy, you'd just be in our way."

Gazzy opened his mouth to argue, but he was cut off by Angel. "Sure. We understand." She said sweetly. Percy nodded, and signaled for his family to stand up. Greg carefully handed Lucy over to the still sleepy Seth before joining his brothers. He glanced towards the play gym, where the family was still seated and his eyes widened slightly. "Percy, there's a kid here." He whispered. His older brother nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah, you want to play the hero?" he asked.

Greg rolled his eyes and took his brother's hand. "You don't mind, right? I mean, you do have to most useful skill at the moment." He said, before dashing towards the family. A few Erasers detached from the group to chase him, but that didn't make him slow down.

Percy shook his head and turned to the rest of his family and Iggy. "Alright, better get ready to fight, it's going to be bloody." He said, as his arms slowly turned to blades. Warren nodded and slid into a fighting stance, his eyes changing back to the red that they should be. Evan sighed and began to change. First he became taller, his hair turning to black and shortening to be out of the way. His muscles bulged out and he chuckled a bit when it was over. "Time for some change, huh brothers?" he asked cheekily. "Watch out, you might scare the girls away with your attitude!" Warren teased.

Nudge and Gazzy watched Percy and Evan's transformation, mouth agape. The only people she had ever seen transform had been the Erasers, and they didn't do anything like that! Percy's arm blades were connected to him smoothly, and didn't seem to cause him any problems as he moved. Every eraser that neared was easily repelled. Warren was a blur of punches and kicks, each one resulting in a snapping noise. Evan seemed to be holding back, purposefully guarding Iggy from any unknown assailants merely by back handing them away. It was amazing.

Greg had managed to avoid his Eraser pursuers and positioned himself in front of the family. "Hey, as soon as you see an exit, run for it. Got it?" he asked as one of his arms became a blade. The terrified father nodded and Greg smiled at him understandingly. "I'd say forget about this, but I don't think anyone could. So, just don't go spreading stories, ok?" he requested. The father nodded again and Greg turned back to the battle. Two Erasers had decided to try to take him on, so he took careful aim at them with the hand that had not formed into a blade. "Bang." He whispered as a red projectile launched itself from his extended index finger, digging its way deep into the flesh of the first Eraser. The Eraser let out a howl of pain and dropped, causing its comrade to pause. "Too slow." Greg scolded as he felled the Eraser.

Due to the increasing amount of fallen Erasers, one of the exits had been left unguarded. Greg noticed this and smiled grimly. "Alright, you need to get your wife and kid out of here. I'll cover you, you just run. Run and don't look back." He told the father. The man nodded, but his brow furrowed in concern. "But what about you? You can't stay here, it's much too dangerous! You're only a kid!" he protested. Greg's eyes widened a bit, and he laughed mirthlessly. "Mister, you're the first person to actually give a-" he glanced at the little boy being held in his mother's arms and sighed. "first person who cared enough about me to worry. I'll be fine. I'm actually used to this." He said. The father nodded sadly and began to lead his family away. The boy looked back at Greg and smiled. "Thanks mister, you're like a superhero!" he exclaimed. Greg snorted, but couldn't help the warm bubble of happiness that had sprung into his heart.

Max and Fang had been to busy fighting to notice the commotion from the play gym. More Erasers had poured into the fast food restaurant, making their escape look doubtful. Just as it was starting to seem like they'd never get a break from the relentless attack, a small black blur forced its way through the furry bodies, beating back any wolf-man unlucky enough to be in his path.

"Hey, it's time to leave. There's a whole bunch more coming in, and if we're not quick they'll call for the big guns." Warren said. Fang gave him a suspicious look, but Max was more worried about the rest of the Flock. "We can't leave without Iggy and the rest!" she shouted. Wrath rolled his eyes and grabbed her wrist, dodging an Eraser as he did so. "They're fine. We just have to get back to them before they use the escape plan!" he hissed. He was remarkably strong for his size and had no problem dragging Max away.

Fang hissed and chased after them, his mind black with doubts. Just an hour or so earlier the boy had been locked in vicious combat against Fang, and now he was supposed to believe that he was on the good side? It wasn't easy to swallow, that was for sure. The trio weaved through Erasers until they reached the others. The fight had become more frantic, and everyone save Seth and Lucy had been dragged into it. Gilbert's teeth were sunk deep into and Eraser's arm, though it wasn't long before they went all the way through. Gazzy and Iggy were tag teaming a few, while Percy had been forced to save Nudge from a particularly large wolf-man. Angel was seated on a table, quietly manipulating the Erasers to leave her alone.

"Hey, where's Greg?" Warren yelled. Percy nodded towards the play gym and Warren rolled his eyes. "Well, tell him to get over here so we can leave!" he growled. Percy nodded and proceeded to shoot down several enemies. The sound of the strange bullets seemed to attract Greg's attention, and the dark haired sin quickly made his way to rejoin the group. As soon as he passed Percy, Seth sat up strait. "Here we go!" he squeaked, as his eyes began to glow. After a moment, most of the Erasers fell to the ground, unconscious. Only the few that had already been fighting the flock and sins were left awake, though not for long.

Seth collapsed in his seat, obviously exhausted from his endeavors. "That… was… so cool!" Gazzy crowed. Fang and Max shared a worried look. Just who were these people? Percy quickly scooped up both Nudge and Seth, before turning to the others. "We'd better hurry, who knows what might show up next." He warned. Greg grabbed Lucy and followed his older brother out of the McDonalds. The rest of the flock followed the sins in a daze. They had just witnessed a whole bunch of stuff that shouldn't have been possible, even for mutants. That was worrying.

Max pushed her way to the front of the group. "So Percy, I think it's about time you told us a little about you and your family." She said evenly. Percy glanced at her for a moment and sighed, his stern expression melting into an innocent, but tired and worried one. "Well, I suppose so, but not until we're far, far away from here. Can you all fly?" he asked. After everyone nodded, including a blushing Nudge, he smiled. "Then I guess we'll make good time." He noted.

Iggy scowled. "Were do you think we're going?" he asked. Percy chuckled, but was interrupted by Evan. "Nevada, eventually, but the woods for now!" he chirped happily. The flock stared at the sins, dumbfounded. "What's in Nevada?" Max asked slowly. The sins shared a sad glance. "Our Father is." Greg admitted.

Yumi: So that's that. We're finally going to learn more about the sins and their Father. What's going to happen next? Who knows! So, if anyone wants to be a beta reader, everyone could find out sooner. It's hard to both write the chapter and proofread it three or more times while I'm also working on two other fanfics, so a beta reader would be wonderful. Just drop a review, I'll get to you eventually.
