Hey there guys

Sorry but no update. Instead, quite the opposite. I come to you all to say that I will be discontinuing Destiny of Ash.

The reason? Well, Destiny of Ash was always just an experimental piece. I did enjoy writing it at first, but after the third chapter, I've been on one hell of a writer's block. In short, my drive to continue this story is all but drained. Don't get me wrong, I still like the plot, however the idea of restarting Ash's journey with some changes in all honesty has been done to death her on FFNet, even more so than those Ash/Betrayal fics that I've never understood the appeal of.

However, I don't want to discourage you all by the fact that I'm discontinuing this story. Rather, I am hoping all of you will help me with a new idea I'm coming up with, one I believe will bring forth a great new change. This new story is called –

Revossorc Region

In this story, after losing the Kalos League, Ash decides to take some time and explore the regions he has before. Several year later, 17-year-old Ash is now the proud owner of the Battle Coliseum, the newest addition to the Kanto Battle Frontier. He however has not been feeling like himself, which of course worries his mother and Professor Oak. Together, they call on All of Ash's travelling buddies, and even a few surprising ones, and try to get Ash out of his funk. The solution however comes from Scott, who gives Ash a invitation into enter the Revossorc League, one of the toughest and most eventful Pokemon leagues in history. With all of his friends and Pokemon at his side, Ash decides to head out and explore this new league.

Now I know what you're all thinking – the "new region/league plot has been done before" bit, right? Well, here's where the fun comes in.

Now tell me, what does Revossorc spell backwards?

Crossover, Right! This story is not just going to be another Ash story, it is also going to be the spiritual successor to my old story – Sora and Ash, Partners in Pokemon.

That's right, Sora is back and this time in a new Pokemon skin. Like Ash, he is a trainer, however his dream is to become the Ressovorc Champion. He along with Kairi, Riku, and many other crossover character will appear in this story.

Now I'm betting you guys are wondering how will this region differ from the others. Well, unlike the others, rather than having to obtain eight badges, you need to obtain 18 badges from all 18 gyms. Each gym is of a different type, and Ash can only use Pokemon of the same type to battle. In short, this is going to be one heck of a challenge.

Before I leave you all, there is one more thing I need to discuss. In order to get started on this story, I need to come up with the teams of the main characters so that they can all participate in this story. Don't worry about the crossover character, those I'll handle on my own. I'm talking about the main cast that we all love and adore.

Now Ash obviously has the biggest abundance of Pokemon, however considering were are still not even halfway through the Kalos anime, there is plenty of room for Ash's team. I want you guys to tell me who you think will be on Ash's team by the end of the season. The same goes for Serena and Clemont.

As for the others, I need suggestions on new Pokemon for them to have. Remember, the characters I'm talking about are Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Dawn, Iris, and Cilan.

Last, but certainly not least, I also need teams for Max and Bonnie, who are the youngest members of the group.

Remember guys, be creative in your choices. Give me ideas that would be both interesting and fun. I'm asking all of you to help me make this new story the best it can possibly be.

Again, I apologize for disappointing you guys for not continuing Destiny of Ash. It was a good plot, but sadly just not one I think I can or want to finish. This on the other hand I feel like I can and I really want to write.
