YUP AN UPDATE SO SOON! HOPE YOU ENJOY!
Tony plopped the first chocolate pancake on Harley's plate.
The boy smiled as he begun to stuff his mouth, chugging the milk with chocolate smeared on his face.
The genius took his own pancakes and moved across to sit on the bar next to his friend.
They both ate in silence for a short while until Tony suggested turning on the tv.
The fist thing that popped up was the news.
They were talking about boring things, stocks, weather, politics. But Pepper had begged him to at least watch the part about Stark Industries.
Harley sighed as he saw that the billionaire wasn't going to change the channel.
Quickly the 11 year old sipped the last of his milk and pushed his plate back.
Tony was just about to take up their empty plates when red flashed over the screen.
"BREAKING NEWS" The anchorman said, "The remains of Night Star Motel was found last night a little after 2:00. It looks as if someone had bombed the place. There have been no survivors found. We will report whenever we are able to get an update."
Harley's smile faded as he watched the news camera show the destruction of the motel.
Tony clenched his jaw then quickly dropped the plates in the sink.
Pressing the remote, the mechanic turned off the tv and looked to the boy, he was about to say something when JARVIS spoke.
"Sir, Mrs Potts is at the door."
"I'll be right back." The man walked briskly to the front with Harley peeking around the corner.
"Pepper, hi!" Tony greeted with a half smile.
"Hi," she smiled back, maneuvering around the philanthropist. "I picked these up this morning."
Pepper handed Tony a dark blue duffle.
"What's in it?" The man looked over the bag.
"Well I figured Harley might need some new cloths." The red head smiled.
Tony thought for a moment, "Hey kid, come here."
The boy slowly made his way down the hall.
"Put these on and well go check out the explosion sight." The Iron hero handed him the duffle. "Then we'll go find you mom."
Harley didn't speak, just stared at Tony with sad eyes.
"What?" The billionaire asked.
"But what if...what if she's..." The boy trailed off, not wanting to finish his sentence.
Tony slowly put a hand on the kid's shoulder. "We'll find her, I swear."
Harley looked doubtful but walked toward the bathroom.
Tony took in a deep breath and sighed. "I better get dressed too."
Just as he started making his way to his room Pepper called out.
"But Tony, what if she is...you know?"
The man didn't turn around.
There was a long pause before the Iron hero replied.
"She's not, because if she is I just created an orphan. And I wouldn't be able to live with myself."
