Chapter 3

Thalia's POV

We were called out of the train, into a village called Hogsmede, and then onto a carriage with a blonde girl, Hermione, and Harry. Glad it's not that Ron guy, he was hitting on me. I don't like him. But these guys seemed okay. The carriage was drawn by four black, skeleton like horses that Nico and Bianca kept fawning with and Percy was having an animated conversation with. I tried patting one but it almost bit my hand of so I decided death and sea were not a great mix for Zeus' kid. The second Hermione and Harry climbed on I discovered we must be doing something wrong by the startled looks they gave us,

"Hello Harry, Hermione. Have a good summer? I thought not. Did you notice they like thestrals?" asked the blond girl in an odd, sad tone. She looked like she'd lived through a war and I should know. They nodded at her question and Harry turned to us and asked cautiously,

"Sorry... but have you guys, ugh, seen someone... die?" and I instantly felt tears leak into my eyes. Mum (not that that saddened me), Zoe, Beckendorf, Silena, Ethan, way too many more in the battle of Manhattan, Halcyon, so many hunters, and Luke. I miss him. He's not here and he spent his last minutes saying he loved Annabeth but I'd miss her if I lost her and she'll miss Luke. Luke will miss me. We needed each other. Past tense. Memories hit me and a tear fell from my electric blue eye but before anyone could see me I wiped it off my cheek. Percy nodded before I could lie but Harry just tilted his head as Hermione said in a soft voice,

"Who?" which Bianca replied with a dry laugh and she released a tear before Hermione said, "We've seen way too many. We've been in a war. At least you haven't." I nodded. We've been in two. Not that that mattered to anybody except me. It also wasn't fair that we - kids of the big three - had to go here rather than being with the rest of camp and the seven. Even Jason and Hazel only got put back in Camp Jupiter. Why couldn't we go there? Because the gods were stubborn, that's why. Then I realized I'd let ADHD get the better of me again and the whole hour long ride was over and we were able to see it so I turned around...

Aphrodite's POV

Oh my gods! Yeah! My plan worked so well! Percico, Thalianca and Hermiuke here we come! Love has never been so easy! All I had to do was make something threaten camp; provide the idea of sending the 'prophecy kids' to Hecate's kids school; make sure they agree; rise Luke from the dead; get Mrs I-won't-wear-make-up McGonagall to invite the golden trio back to school and agree to accepting my 'adopted children' to Hogwarts... Okay it was quite a hard, long plan but it was so cute! So, as I was thinking, oh my Gods! They're ready for step 1 part 2! I'll stay there as a new teacher, there were plenty of spaces for some reason, so I had taken spot as muggle study teacher. All it was about was talking about fashion, 'myths', ideas and fashion again! I hope. Never mind. I quickly teleported to them and sat down. Hermione stared at me. Boy, that girl needs a makeover! Fuzzy hair, mismatched teeth, dull clothes. OMG! Thalia was looking at Hogwarts (OMG! Horrid name) while the other three where staring at me. Was the pink tank top, pink jeans, pink heels and pink hair extensions clashing with my red lippy? I hope not. But anyways,

"Darlings! Guess what: I got a job as muggle studies teacher! You Daddy's will be so pleased! Are you well?" By this time Thalia too was staring at me so I mind-told them my back-story. 'I've adopted you after you were orphaned and my name is Professor Hope Venus! You're actually going to be blessed by me you lucky things! Love you darlings!' Bianca was first to recover, smart and beautiful kid, saying,

"Mum! You're a professor! Sorry, Harry and Hermione, this is our adopted mum! Err… we're not siblings though, 'part from me and Neeks." Harry began to drool a bit, cute thing, and Hermione composed herself,

"Good morning, Professor." This will be a good year!
