CH 6: A Battle as hard as Brock!
Ross, Serena, and Ash, along with Pikachu, and Eevee who was let out of its ball, were about to reach Pewter City, another Hiker appeared, and informed them about his rock company, as hard as Brock. Ash, and Serena had no clue what had happened, but Ross planned this all out. Brock was going to have Rock-Type Pokemon, so he would teach Dratini a Water-Type move. Ash had no advantage, until he reached the Pokemon center. He received a voice call, from none other than Professor Oak, saying one of his Ranch friends wanted to come along on his journey. Oak inserted a Pokeball, and a Poliwag appeared. Poliwag: Moves: Tackle, Mud Sport, Headbutt, Water Gun, Tail Whip. Ash and Ross went up to the gym, Serena close behind with Eevee, who also decided that she wanted to stay outside the Pokeball too. The gym was a rocky battlefield, with a couple of arches, small, to fit in the gym. Brock stood there, awaiting a challenger with his eyes squinted. "So. A challenger finally. One with the cereal cap. I challenge you to a 2v2, and Son of Lance, 1v1." "Geodude!" "Poliwag!" "Mud Sport!" "Tackle!" "Water Gun!" Power level bars show at Brock's Geodude. Soon, the bar was full, and Brock yelled, "All Right! Rock Tomb Gauge Max!" Poliwag was quickly defeated, same with Pikachu. "Listen, kid. You gotta train your Pokemon up a lot." "Ross! Next." "Aerodactyl!" "Rock Throw!" "Dratini, dodge and Scald! Water Pulse! Thunder Wave!" Aerodactyl was quickly taken care of, and Ross won the Boulder Badge. After they left, Poliwag and Pikachu tried attacking wild Nidoran, a Butterfree told to dodge, Eevee and Pidgeotto, and a Camper's Graveler. Until… Poliwag grew blue, and evolved to a Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl learned Water Pulse, and Confusion. They day was spent more training, but Ash style. They ran to Mt. Moon and back, only 2 miles, Poliwhirl practiced Water Pulse, Water Gun, and Headbutt, three rocks each, until each one broke. Ash told Pikachu about tail Whip, and to turn in into an Iron Tail. Pikachu triple-Iron Tailed three rocks until they all broke. Butterfree and Poliwhirl had a Confusion contest, to the faint, and Butterfree won. But Ash kept Poliwhirl to do it until it won three times in a row. It was not going to lose. Pikachu practiced Thundershock so much, it learned Thunderbolt, and Zap Cannon. It was now 10:00 at night Ash pulled Poliwhirl and Pikachu against Butterfree and Beedrill, again against Pidgeotto and Dratini. Ash went to the Pokemon center, where Ash healed his Pokemon fully, and went back outside. Ash and Ross, Serena fell asleep, knocked on Alph's door. Alph woke up, and did a rematch.
