'A body? In the park? And you haven't invited /me/?' Shawn put on a stern look as he looked at Gus, who was just rolling his eyes.
'It wasn't exactly /planned/, you know?' he said.
'You didn't even bother to /text/ me about it.'
'I didn't brought my phone with me.' This was a lie. And Gus knew that Shawn wasn't going to fall for it. Gus /always/ brought his phone with him. No matter /what/.
'Oh really?' Shawn said. 'Or are you just replacing me by that Shunwock-''
'-Sherlock,' Gus corrected him.
'Right,' Shawn said. 'Sherlock.'
'Shawn, you know that I won't ever replace you. You're my best friend.'
'Says the one who's replacing me.'
'I'm /not/ replacing you. Why are yo uso jealous?'
'I'm not jealous!' Shawn said. 'I just don't like it when other people steal my friends.'
'That's called jealous,' Gus said. 'And you know very well that Sherlock isn't trying to steal me from you.'
'And you're expecting me to believe that?'
'Yes,' Gus said. 'Because that's what best friends do.'
Shawn opened his mouth to say something, but got interupted by the ringing of Gus' phone.
Gus picked it up. 'Hello?' he said.
'Hello,' a male voice said back.
'Who is this?' Gus said, not recognizing the voice.
Shawn motioned Gus to give him the phone, but he ignored him.
The voice ignored Gus' question, and went on talking.
'I see you got my little surprise.'
Gus blanked for a moment. 'Do you mean….the body?'
Shawn snatched away the phone and held it to his ear. 'Hello? Hello?'
He lowered the phone again. 'He hung up.'
