Once Yang had retrieved her bag from her section of their shared dresser, she bid Ruby goodbye before walking out, only a few minutes passing before she felt a gentle wind from behind her, the red clad huntresses eyes going to the window. Sitting on the window sill was an all too familiar cat-eared faunus, her legs crossed over one another as she gave Ruby a warm smile, her amber eyes lightly shimmering in the mid-morning light.
"Hey there Red." Blake smiled at the nickname she had always used for Ruby and Ruby only. "I see that Yang's already left. So, might as well get started on what I have planned."
"Oh?" The pajama wearing huntress looked curiously at her faunus friend.
The curiosity plastered onto Ruby's face made Blake chuckle a bit as she walked over to her bookshelf and pulled out a DVD box, the characters on the front being very stylized, but the single thing that stood out was its name.
Gurren Lagann.
"Ooooooo…..I didn't know that you watched cartoons Blake."
"Ruby, this is not a cartoon." Blake rolled her eyes a bit as she smiled at the ignorance of the younger girl next to her, her hands opening up the case before popping the disc within it into her personal laptop. "It's called an anime. And it's a very good one at that."
"Ohhhh….so it's like how your comic books are good too?"
"Manga. And yes. Now come over here so we can watch this." Blake smiled as the young huntress was more than happy to oblige, a small trail of rose petals falling in Ruby's wake as she dashed onto Blake's bed, the younger of the two now sitting snugly up against the faunus.
Within no time, the two had already gotten through the first episode, Ruby's awed expression making the faunus smile warmly. Looks like someone is gonna be asking me to borrow a lot of manga and anime from now on. By the time the second episode was playing, Blake swore that she heard Ruby whispering something during the opening theme, but didn't know what. Once the main theme had ended, she paused the video.
"Hey Red, what are you whispering?" Her amber eyes looked at the pajama wearing huntress curiously, making Ruby smile a bit.
"The opening song!" Ruby smiled innocently, which caused the raven haired faunus to blink a bit.
"Huh, didn't know that you knew Mistralean."
"Mistralean? I thought those were just a bunch of random words." Blake felt her palm make contact with her face, Ruby now the one who blinked. "Something wrong?"
"No...hmmm…..hey Red, wanna try singing the opening?" Blake smiled as she saw Ruby's face grow a blush of embarrassment, causing the faunus to pet her raven and red haired friend's head. "Don't worry, I'll be the only one who'll ever hear it."
"A-alright." Ruby smiled a bit as blake produced her scroll room her pocket, the small red light next to the camera indicating it was recording. Ruby took a deep and calming breath before beginning her memorized song.

Once Ruby had finished the song, Blake stopped the recording, a wide smile on her face as she hugged Ruby.
"T...that was perfect Red!" Her amber eyes met silver ones. "How did you remember that with just watching one episode?"
Ruby giggled a bit as she looked at her faunus friend. "I'm just really good at remembering stuff. That's kinda what happens when you love re-assembling weapons."
The simple answer made Blake smile just as much as the usually red-clad huntress. Now that their attention had been averted from the anime, the faunus began to think about what to do before Ruby smiled.
"Oh! Oh! I know what we can do." Ruby smiled as she walked over to the bookshelf and pulled out a black hardback book. "We can read this!"
Blake smiled at the simple gesture. Well, she smiled at first before seeing the title of the book, her eyes widening before she snatched it away from Ruby. But it was already too late, for the young huntress had already read the back of the book, it's title plain and simple. Ninjas of Love
"...Blaaaake…..why did that description on the back of the book sound not too family appropriate?" Ruby looked at the now madly blushing faunus girl, the book held tightly against her chest.
"Ruby, I swear that this is only for research."
"Uh huh, so you're researching smut?"
"It's not smut! It's a dramatic romance!"
Blake's eye twitched a bit as her blush got even darker, Ruby giggling as she looked at the faunus.
"W-we should get going now. Lunch will be starting in a few minutes."
"Alright. I'll go shower and change." The young huntress smiled as she got her school uniform out of her drawer in their shared dresser before going into the bathroom. Although before the door closed, Ruby smiled at Blake. "Oh and don't get too into that book when I'm showering, or we'll both need showers." And at that, the huntress disappeared into the bathroom and locked it, her presence leaving the madly blushing faunus.
Yo everyone! I hope you like this chapter, and I also put a bit of what I think how each country is into here. I always thought Mistral was like Asia since it looked to be kinda with the same varying climates and what not, oh but I'm getting ahead of myself.
