After explaining the entire situation to Tom, who just shook his head before placing a new film into the DVD player, Rhydian took his leave. Maddy waved him out, closely followed by Shannon holding yet another full vase. His phone had been constantly beeping through with messages from the hotel manager telling him he had thirty minutes before the doors were closed and locked. Rhydian wished desperately that he still stayed with the Vaughan's but now he was over eighteen and out of the foster system, they had no obligations toward him.

Once he was a distance away from the house, Rhydian allowed himself to change, much faster to run on four legs than two, unaware of the dark dressed man watching him.

"How are you this morning, Sunshine?" Shannon grinned as Maddy opened the door, looking extremely frustrated and grumpy. Shannon held out the offering of a latte which was immediately grabbed. Maddy moved to the sofa, sipping the drink with no regard for the steam coming out of it.

"What has you in such a bad mood?" Maddy blushed slightly before replying

"I couldn't sleep that well" Shannon smirked before replying

"Why did Rhydian come back?" Maddy blushed further, shocking Shannon who immediately asked

"He didn't, did he?" Maddy looked down, allowing her hair to shield her face.

"Not in a physical sense" Shannon paused before laughing

"Oh my, you had a dirty dream about him" Maddy glared at her before saying

"I'll throw a vase at you this time" Shannon laughed again before replying

"Why me? It's you who is all hot and bothered" Maddy stood up striding up the stairs to her room. Shannon called after her

"Party tonight at Kara's. Meet you here at 9?" Taking the silence as confirmation, Shannon let herself out.

Tom had met up with Jimi after receiving a strange text message late last evening. Despite offering to meet at the coffee shop, Jimi had insisted on the local pub, cryptically saying that he could speak more freely there. Tom surfed on his phone whilst he waited, nursing a half drunken cola in front of him. It was unlike Jimi to be so late and it was beginning to worry him. Just as Tom was about to call him, he walked through the door. He looked worn out, his usually immaculate appearance, crumpled and out of place. Tom stood up as Jimi neared him before asking

"You alright mate?" Jimi ran a hand through his hair before saying

"I have no idea. I haven't slept at all" Jimi sank into the seat opposite Tom before continuing

"I met with Liam last night" Tom nodded before asking

"How is he?" Jimi paused before saying

"Different. He's not how he was. He's tougher and more serious now" Tom shrugged before saying

"Maybe it's a job he's gone into or a course" Jimi shook his head before replying

"He hasn't got a job and he isn't going to college. He says he's a hunter or something like that. He has claws marks down the side of face and neck." Tom paused, looking at Jimi before replying

"Ok, I get it now. I'll see if I can meet with him and get any more information"

Tom left Jimi in a considerably better mood an hour later, as he left the pub, he bumped into Rhydian who was exiting the hotel next door. Tom smiled at Rhydian before asking

"Alright?" Rhydian nodded before asking

"Yeah, are you going to this party tonight? I'm just going to get clothes for it" Tom sighed before replying

"Yeah, Shannon pushed me into it. See you later"

Liam stood across the road watching the two interact. As Rhydian walked away, Liam began to cross the road heading in the direction of Tom. Bumping into him, he began to apologise before Tom stopped him

"Liam?" Liam faked a shocked look before saying

"Tom?! How are you?" Tom smiled

"I'm great, Jimi was just saying that he had seen you yesterday. How was your time away?" Liam smirked before replying

"Eye opening. Would love to chat, mate but I've got to go somewhere." As he began to walk away, Tom called out after him

"Party tonight at Kara's, see you there?" Liam looked back before replying

"Can't wait"

Maddy tugged the dress down before turning to one side, assessing her reflection. She was unsure on the dress completely, it felt constricting and was more revealing than what she would normally wear. She couldn't understand why she brought it until the thought of Rhydian flashed through her mind. As much as she didn't want to dress up for any guy, she wanted to see how Rhydian would react to this one. Maddy leaned forward to apply her lipstick, a dark red, before assessing one more time. Hair swept to one side, the dark blue dress sitting snuggly on her body and black lace heels. Maddy smiled at her reflection before grabbing her matching clutch bag.

Shannon knocked lightly on her bedroom door before walking in. She smiled at the sight before saying

"You look amazing, dressing up for anyone in particular?" Maddy blushed, fragments of last night's dream running through her head, the lips pressed against her neck, breasts and stomach, the hand gripping her thighs and the finger, followed by a tongue, softly pressing against her clit. Shannon knocked Maddy to the side, quickly getting Maddy out of her thoughts.

"It's a good thing your parents are out tonight 'cos there is no way Dan would let you out looking like this" Maddy rolled her eyes before replying

"More like Mam. Let's go and meet the guys"
