Heeeeeeey people! I'm really sorry this took so long. I've been really busy and sorta just forgot that I had this to do. I promise I'll update more often when I get the chance. Ivan stood in the hall in front of the door tapping his foot, waiting on his sisters to hurry up and finish getting ready. They were taking a lot longer then they should have, the movie would be starting in about two hours, and they had yet to pick up Matthew. He was startled when they came out of their rooms. They were both overdressed for a simple movie date with their brother.

Kat had her hair pulled back into a small ponytail with a low-cut ankle-long dress that was a gentle blue like a clear summer sky, dress shoes, and a brilliant gold chain with a single diamond in the center that hung just off her neck. Natalia, not one to be outdone, looked just as good. She had her long hair straight with a small black bow holding her bangs back. Her dress was a one shoulder with it covering her left shoulder and the other side going right under her arm. It had a red ribbon wrapped around the waist and tied into a bow in the back. She also had a gold necklace hanging from her neck with a sapphire in the center that brought out her eyes.

"Why are you both so dressed up? It's just a simple movie like every year." Ivan inquired tilting his head. He was in a nice black sweater and a little baggy blue jeans that he held up with a dark brown belt, of course his signature scarf was wrapped around his neck.

"I'm so sorry little brother, we ended up getting dates with Toris and his friend that just moved here from the Netherlands..." Kat shifted nervously.

"Well, I guess you can still go with that boy...You told him you would pick him up. I may not like you dating him but I want big brother to look like a good man so he knows what he doesn't have." Natalia huffed out and crossed her arms. Kat smiled softly and giggled.

"I'm not dating him! We are just friends!"

"I agree with Natalia, you should go with him. He's all alone on Valentines day if you don't and he was really excited to come with us." Kat waved him off with a pleading look.

Ivan pulled into the drive and hopped out with a small smile. As soon as his fist touched the door to knock it sprung open and Matthew was standing there with a gentle smile. Ivan felt his face heat up in surprise and amazement. Matthew was in a simple outfit of a white turtleneck sweater with a scatter of red and orange maple leaves pattern on the right shoulder, black jeans, and simple black tennis shoes. He had his hair pulled back loosely with some framing his face.

"Ready?" Ivan asked smiling widely. Matthew stepped out and shut the door behind him then locked it.

"Okay, now I am." He walked out to Ivan's truck and hopped in the passenger side. Ivan hopped in then started up the drive to the theater.

"What kind of movie do you want Matvey?"

"Well...I'm not exactly a fan of chick flicks...or comedies..." Matthew and Ivan were standing and looking at the movies that were playing at the moment. "We can watch a scary one if you would like...My brother is terrified of them, but I sorta like being a little scared to get a bit of adrenalin into my usually boring days eh?" Ivan smiled happily, some of his favorite movies being horror.

"Da, sounds good!" They bought the tickets for the movie and went into the theater room after getting a bag of popcorn and agreeing to share a large drink. Matthew sat next to Ivan in the very back row of the theater. The movie started up like any other with some teenagers making some stupid decisions and a few simply disappearing at first.

Around the middle of the movie Matthew was getting restless and nervous waiting for something to jump out and make him scared. Ivan had a smile as he watched more of the dead teens be found. A small squeak came from beside him and he glanced from the corner of his eye to see Matthew curling in on himself. He turned his head to him fully with a brow raised, he hadn't expected Matthew to be scared of this movie.

A monster jumped out on the screen making Matthew squeal and latched onto Ivan, burying his face in his neck with his arms around his shoulders. Ivan slowly had a blush go across his cheeks and he wrapped his arms around Matthew's back.

"Matvey?..." He whispered softly and Matthew suddenly jumped away. He was covering his face but the light coming off the screen showed his face was a darker color than his usual skin and he had small glimmers of tears in his eyes.

"I-I'm so sorry Ivan! I-I didn't mean to do that!" He curled in on himself waiting for Ivan to start yelling at him. 'Great! Idiot, now look what you did! He probably thinks you are a weirdo now and won't want anything to do with you! So fucking stupid!'

"No...It's fine Matvey. If you would like...you can hold my hand if you get scared...It helps sometimes to have somebody with you." Ivan looked away quickly hiding half his face in his scarf while holding his hand open slightly, hoping Matthew would take his offer.

"I...well um...maybe I could..." A monster jumped with a roar on screen and the 'maybe' went to 'okay'. He had jumped forward and buried his face in his shoulder and grabbed Ivan's hand. He held tightly to it keeping his eyes shut on his shoulder.

'His hands are so soft...' Ivan was slowly examining Matthew as he shook. His face was slowly rubbing into Ivan's arm and his hair slightly gleamed from the low light. Matthew's hand, Ivan determined, had to have lotion on it because it was soft almost like a delicate womans. 'He looks so...adorble like this...How could I have not seen this before with him?' He slowly tangled his fingers with Matthew's and hid a smile in his scarf as he watched the rest of the movie.

'His hands are warm...' Matthew buried his face slowly more into Ivan's sweater. 'He seemed so scary when I first met him...' He looked up slightly at Ivan's face and saw a small blush then noticed the movie monsters were being killed. 'Maybe he won't make me move...I think I can stay...just a little longer.' Matthew slowly tangled his fingers back and slightly tightened his grip so he was actually holding his hand and not strangling it.

The movie ended and Matthew had yet to move from Ivan's shoulder. The only reason he willingly moved was because Ivan offered to go to dinner with him and he was getting a little hungry. They never let go of each other's hands untill the reached the car and they both stared at their tangled fingers when they stood in front of it. Eventually Matthew pulled his fingers away from Ivan's and blushed looking at the ground. Ivan had a small blush looking off to the side.

"So...dinner, da?" He said slightly awkward and Matthew nodded. Matthew and Ivan hopped in their car and they drove to dinner, to a simple diner down the road that both enjoyed going to, then went back to Matthew's when they were finished.

Ivan walked Matthew to his door and Matthew smiled softly with a yawn as he unlocked his home.

"This evening was great, thank you so much Ivan." Matthew turned to him with a wide smile.

"Da, I enjoyed it to. We should go on little dates more often." Ivan said dates jokingly and Matthew laughed some and nodded happily. "Should I give you a goodnight kiss to?" Ivan kept a straight face as he said it so it made him sound serious when he wasn't. Matthew blushed softly with a weak smile.

"If you really want to..." Ivan blushed a dark cherry red all the way to his ears. Matthew looked away with a weak laugh. "W-well, I best b-be going to bed..."

"Wait Matvey...before you go..." Ivan stepped forward and softly cupped Matthew's face and tilted his head slowly to look him in the eyes causing soft lavender meet dark violet and both to have butterflies flutter in their stomachs. Ivan softly pressed his lips to Matthew's and stayed still a moment until Matthew leaned up more, pressing harder into it slightly. Matthew wrapped his arms over his shoulders while Ivan's hands slid down slowly and stopped with them resting on Matthew's slim waist. They both stayed in the kiss a few moments longer before Matthew pulled from it slowly and looked at Ivan half-lidded.

"Goodnight Ivan. I'll see you soon alright?"

"Da, I'll see you later Matvey." Ivan whispered and pulled away with a happy grin. He left keeping his happy smile and his heart in his throat.

The rest of February, March, April, and June passed for the new couple. They had set it up so every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evening they would go on a date, visit each other when Matthew got off work, or even spend the night together if they stayed to late. Spring brought walks in the park or sitting inside and watching movies with the windows open by them. The beginning of summer was pleasant, not extremely hot but still a gentle warmth of 75 to 80 on most days, even when Matthews birthday finally came along.

"Happy birthday Matt!" Kat hugged him before her and Natalia, who was already in the car waiting, left. "I hope you have many more and you had fun on this birthday!" Matthew couldn't help but laugh.

"Thank you for the scarf and mittens Kat, they should come in very handy for this winter." His compliment made Kat smile happily and wave wildly as she got in the car. They left and Ivan smiled standing behind Matthew.

"That was a fun and interesting day..." Matthew had gotten a knife with a maple wood handle and had a maple leaf design carved into it from Natalia, a light purple scarf and dark violet mittens from Kat, and a large amount of 100% Canadian maple syrup from Ivan. Ivan had made a joke and got him a prank gift. Matthew's whole face was dark red when he opened a small box and it had a condom, a small bottle of lube, and a letter telling him not to use it all in one place.

"I had fun." Matthew laughed happily and sat on the couch turning on the TV, soon to be joined by Ivan. Ivan wrapped an arm over Matthew's shoulders and watched the TV with a grin remembering his dirty little joke. Matthew looked at Ivan with a gentle smile, really happy he wasn't alone like his other birthdays, and kissed him softly. After a few moments Ivan had closed his eyes like Matthew's were and slowly turned to him fully, pulling the blonde closer with the arm that was already around him. Matthew blushed gently and pressed closer wrapping his arms over Ivan's shoulders deepening the kiss to frenching. He slowly leaned back pulling Ivan down over him, neither wanting to break the kiss. Ivan used his free hand to hold the edge of the couch to keep himself from crushing the body under him while Matthew wrapped his legs around Ivan's waist.

"I-Ivan..." Matthew blushed dark red as he pulled from the kiss and looked up to him. "I...I think it's time..." He bit his lip softly.

"Are you sure Matvey? We can wait until you want, or when you think you are really ready..."

Over the past few months the couple had found themselves in this position many times but they never went any farther because Matthew had admitted to Ivan that he was a virgin. Ivan wanted his first time to be really special so he always would ask when they were like this. Matthew would always stop them right before it really happened since he wasn't ready, it wasn't the right time, or he would get self conscious and be scared to let Ivan see him.

"O-Oui...Ivan, I want to make love. Please do this for me." Matthew whispered out blushing darkly causing Ivan to smile softly.

"If this is what you wish Matvey." He got up and picked up Matthew bridal style. "I think it would be more comfortable in bed, da?" He carried Matthew up to his room and shut the door behind them.

I will rely on reviews for this one...Do you all want me to just hint at the lemon or do you want me to actually have it in the beginning of the next chapter?
