Chapter 6
5 minutes later... the spare house/Sakura`s house she is using
"There that was not so hard was it." Syaoran tells her a bit out of breath putting her down by the door.
At this Sakura growls out angrily at him before turning around and stomping in the house as she slammed the door behind her, without so much as a good night to either of the men out side.
"Well I think that went well" Brian says out happily, causing Syaoran to look at him confused.
"Which part? She did not even look at me the whole way back and then she slammed the door in my face. Call me crazy but I don't think that was it going well Brian" Syaoran states out at his brother throwing his arms up in defeat as he walks away slowly.
Next day 12:00am garage...
"Brian, have you contacted my parents recently?" Sakura speaks out loudly under a very expensive car.
"Yea sweet, I did it yesterday. They told me to tell you what they are thinking of you all the time and they will be happy to see you in a few months" Brian tells her smiling.
Sakura smiled back at him and continued to work as she thought to herself how lucky she was to have met Brian and how he was so nice to her. Since being caught up in the gang fight months ago she was told she would have to pass the initiation if she wanted to be able to see her family and the outside world again so these last few months have been hell for her to say the least.
However, throughout all of the bad things Brian seemed to light up her world greatly like for example he offered to train her, contact her parents every so often to let them know she was at least safe and be a friend which was what she needed most of all if she was too succeed in staying alive and winning this bet because after all three people's lives depended on the last two months of her training.
"Yo Sakura?" Brian asks her shyly
"Yes what is it"
"would you like to go out to dinner with me tonight and maybe a movie if I asked Syaoran to pull some strings to let you out"
"What" Sakura screamed out excitedly, running up to Brian and kissing him on the cheek before hugging him tightly.
"Are you serious, I would love that."
"Cool, but Syaoran has to say yes first, I just thought it would be nice as a sort of reward I mean you have done really well these last few months and I do not see the harm in this as long as you promise not to run off on me and get me in trouble" Brian warns her sternly pointing a finger in her direction.
"I swear I won't! Yes", Sakura celebrates happily.
"ok then its settled, im just going to go grab some lunch for us ok love" Brian smiles out ruffling her hair as he looks at her one last time.
"1:00pm
"Yo BRIAN, you in here" Syaoran shouts out coming in to the garage.
"hes gone to get lunch Li" Sakura tells him lamely as she pops out from under the car she had just done fixing.
"O ok Sak-..." Syaoran stops surprised as he turns around to Sakura shocked at her appearance.
She was wearing a pair of Brians old one suits except she never done the front of it all the way.
"What? Sakura askes out questionably
"WWhat are you doing put some clothes on, what if one of my men were to come in here and see you in that" Syaoran let out panicky turning strawberry red as he runs around the garage trying to find something to give to Sakura to cover up with quickly.
"Here put this on now" Syaoran tells her finally giving up and handing her his own jacket to put on.
"But why-"
"Now" he tells her sternly holding it out and waiting for her to slip in to it.
"uhhh" Sakura sighs out loudly before giving in.
"thats better, you can continue to work now" he tells her but not before pulling the zip of the jacket all the way up her neck so even that was covered up.
"Li how can I work in this I look like a summer snowman" Sakura breaths out from under the jacket collor.
"Here babe, your sandwich," Brian sings out coming into the garage.
"what the hell" Brian laughs out uncontrollably when he spots Sakura.
"Brian, how dear you. Come with me now" Syaoran growls out at him, dragging him away from the garage still laughing.
"Wooo Syaoran stop pulling me and tell me what is so wrong you had to lead me out here"
"Its Sakura, when I walked in to find you she was working there half naked.
What in your right mind allowed you to let her do that."Syaoran shouts out at his brother angrily as he fights of another blush that was creeping up to his face unknowingly.
"Ahh, is that what all this is about, Syaoran did you seem to forget that im gay, which means I have no interest in Sakura in any way so why would I care what she weres.
You on the other had look like you care a great deal about it." Brian smirks out teasing his brother.
"No, I just don't want any of the other gang to see her like that"
"bull shit Syaoran, everyone knows that the only people that come to the garage is me Sakura, you and Meiling and that's only if she has been asked. No one else."
At this Syaoran just turns away from his brother with a huff
"Come on Syaoran, just admit you like her. It's the stubbornness isn't it and the fact she is so determined to try, I know Syaoran look at him dumbfounded.
Shaking his head and lying he repbelieve me because if I was not gay she would be exactly who I would be looking at. Plus, I am your brother I know these things about my twin." Brian talks out in a matter of fact way, making ly's sternly "i am telling you Brian I do not like Sakura"
"even though she is the only girl you have ever shown any interest in and even dressed her up for winter in the middle of summer. I am supposed to believe that?"
Syaoran cheeks darkened a little after hearing his brother's explanations to his accusations of liking a girl that he had started to think about the last couple of days.
`its just concern` Syaoran thinks to himself before hearing Brian speak again.
"Listen Syaoran I asked Sakura out for a meal and a movie tonight. Now I know it requires having a higher up gang member escort someone who has not yet been initiated out of the premises, so I thought you could take her and when you go to pick her up just simply tell her that I am ill or something. she was so excited she will probably even go out with you without a fuss." Brian informs him smirking satisfied with his play.
"But"
"No, no buts Syaoran, at the very least this might be a chance for you to at least get on with her, we only have two months left. So, starting tomorrow we need her ready and willing to listen to you. Just be nice like you always are whenever you speak about her."
"What do you mean"
Eriol told me that ever since you brought her with you that day and he told you that you offended her buy calling her fat you have never said another mean thing about her and have even been sticking up for her with the Elders, it's nice Syaoran as a brother I am proud of you for looking in the inside ofpeople now." Brian tells him hitting his arm friendly before walking away shouting
"Dont forget tonight."
Sakuras house/ 6:00pm
"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK"
Sakura jumped up from her seat happily, she was wearing a lovely black vest top with white butterflies running down the left side of it, with a pair of light blue jeans and black van trainers on. `gosh i am so thankful Brian sent out for some normal clothes for me tonight cosidering the only sort of thing i have to where at the moment are exercies gear` Sakura thought happily as she looked at her new outfit up and down before opening the door smiley.
"hey Bri-" Sakura started but not finishing her sentance and her face turns sour at the sight of the person at the door.
"Where is Brian?"
"He is ill, so he asked me to fill in." Syaoran tells her rubbing the back of his neck nervously, silently wondering what her reaction will be.
"Oh is it bad" she wonders out at him conserned.
"na he just told me he wanted to sleep it off but he promised you that he would take you out, so then i offered to do it, so he could rest if you were ok with it" Syaoran lookes at her for an answer.
"i guess"
"Cool then lets go" he announces to her grabing a pair of handcuffs out of his pocket and clipping it on to her right rist quckly.
"hay what are yo-"
"Sorry its the rules, of taking someone out. i can not let you leave with me with out taking out proper precautions Sakura im sorry" Syaoran tells her sighing before continuing " i can make it alot nicer for you to tolerate though here" he smiles out handing her a rose rapped in pink paper.
Sakura was shocked yet again with Syaorans actions today `is he trying to make fun of me or something` she thought as she took the rose from him curiously and put it in the sink with a drizzle of water.
"Right then lets go" Syaoran lets out coolly, grabing Sakuras hand and leading her out the door. he was wereing a dark blue polo shirt and his spare leather jacket with a very dark pair of black jeans to match his black boots.
"im just holding your hand so the handcuff does not rub your wrist" he informes her blushing a bit, and luckerly not turning back to see a almost bright pink Sakura looking up at him as he leade her to his car.
a few moments later..garage..
"What? so this nice car was your's all along." Sakura asks him as she was lead over to the passangers side and the handcuff off of Syaorans wrist being put on the car door handle with care ask he look up to her and smiled and the look of relisation on her face.
"off course baby, whos else would it of been? i knowingly said to Brian to let you work on this beaut today. i knew you would like looking at its inside, just like the day before yesterday when you took that bike apart yourselve and tuned it up."
"you storker, you were watching me do that."
"no its not storking you Sakura it was taking and interest" Syaoran tells her flatly as he shuts the car door on her side of the car and walks over to his own.
` taking an interest my foot, he is just teasing me. why in the world would a man like Syaoran Li take an interest in what a fat girl like me likes or dislikes.'
it was true though ever since working with Brian in the garage, Sakura has took an interest in all different kinds of cars.
However this car was her favorate car she has ever worked on, the engine and its body was all so efficient for the style of car. it was obviously well worked on by Brian in the past to make it go atleast 40 mph faster.
thirty minutes later...
"Sorry its just McDonald's, its the only thing easily edible with a handcuff on" Syaoran sighs out at her as he watches her eat silently without compliant.
"its ok Li, i have had a burger before. im as fat as a house anyway i do not suppose a burger will make much of a difference" Sakura lets out shrugging at Syaoran before continuing to eat not looking at him.
"Dont you ever say that again Sakura do you understand me, your amazing. i have never met someone with so much drive and determinedness as you in my life."
"o just give it a rest Li, stop being such a suck up and a tease. i know the only reason you are doing all this for me and saying all these right things towards me is so you can save Brian from the Eldors.
well guess what im only doing all this to save Brian too he is my best friend. so you dont need to do all this to get me to fight my best for this match because i already am planning on it."Sakura informs him seriously.
"What no, Sakura is that what you thought, that i wasnted to train you so you could save brian?"
"well isnt it? Brian helped me train while you were gone because he said he owes you so much for saving him. now i want to save him."
"no, Brian is safe i will protect my brother with my life and all i want is to be able to do the same for you.
look Sakura i did not want to tell you this now, i wanted to leave it until tomorow when i could of told Brian aswell but i will just tell him later too.
i spoke to my mother today and she has agreed that if you get down to thirteen stone in a month, she has agreed to let me pick an apponent for you to fight."
"What you mean i would not have to fight that crucher bloke" Sakura askes out desporatlly.
"no it is decided by weight, it is against the code to let a man fight a woman originally anyway. the only reason eldors got away with picking crusher was that he weighed the same as you but since we have changed that and we made it to the girls minumum weight limit then we are safe to change opponent."
"Wow thank you Li, for leting me know this now it is nice to know i have at least a chance to change my circumstances."
"good, im glad" Syaoran smiles out at her as he nears her face with a napkin to get a bit of stray saurce off of the side of her lip causing Sakura to stiffen uncontrollably at his touch.
"Sakura," he whispers out at her, nearing her face as his focous lands on her lips watchfully.
"you know what Li, maybe we should go and watch the movie its getting quite late don`t you think." Sakura jumps up out of her seat nervously, causing Syaoran to retreat backin to his seat with a slight smirk and a nod at Sakura.
`o my god, my face is bearing hot maybe i am ill or something. he was so close to me just now. may be he is ill too i could smell him, what was that why is my heart pounding so much.`
"uhh, Sakura you ok?" Syaoran questions her as he nears her face again knowingly, earing Sakura to snap back to reality with a "Hoe" esscaping her and backing off a bit from his closeness.
"yess, im ffine" she stutters out turning a fifferent colour of red yet again as he could be seen still watching her curiously but amused.
" ok then lets go then silly" he tells her grabing her hand again leading her out the exit gentlly.
Movie 7:30pm
"what movie did you buy tickets for Li" Sakura askes him interested.
"uhhh, i did not have time to book anything really. sorry,"
"dont apologies, oo can we see this one." Sakura walks over to the poster excitedly then looks at Syaoran pleadinglly.
"now how can i say no to that face,"Syaoran tells her cupping her chin in his right hand pulling her face towards him tilting it slightly before whispering in her ear huskerlly
"you know you look very sexy when you beg me for something love" he tells her before backing away and from her and releasing her face from his grip.
"Wwhat just happend" Sakura asked herselve dazed before feeling her hand get pulled again towards the ticket booth.
20 minutes in to the movie...
"Sakura. you ok" Syaoran wanders out at the girl he was staring at worriedly until a heavy head falls on to his sholder and little shallow breaths could be heard escaping from it calmlly.
"She's asleep" Syaoran sighs out in relieve, taking ahold of his jacket from the spare seat and draping it over her.
6am
"mmm" Sakura streaches out feeling groggy.
`ahh my back hurts and i cant move, Wait what is that` she thought turning on to her side
"AHHHHHHHH"
at the scream Syaoran wakes up sleeperly sitting up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes before turning to the girl next to him in a very tired way and saying to her
"Sakura, its like six in the morning do you have to shout"
"LI just what are you doing in my bed..."
