I'm so sorry for not updating within my time span. Please forgive me. Since school started, I wasn't allowed to go online much. I'm truly sorry. But, please, keep reading this story.
Zero felt like he was burning in hell one moment, then suddenly he felt like he was in the depths of the ocean, a comforting and relaxing feeling overpowering the pain. What's happening? He opened his eyes to find himself being kissed by the pure blood. It wasn't just any kiss this time though, it was a French kiss! Uwaahh! Kuran's tongue is in my mouth! Only until then did the silverette realize a sweet taste in the kiss, Kaname's blood. His blood... it's so delicious...
Kaname knew that his blood had pacified the curse for a while, but he still didn't want to break away from the kiss. Zero's lips were so intoxicating which made him want to linger there more.
The pure blood's eyes widened slightly when he felt Zero start to respond to the kiss.
"Mmmnghh..." Zero moaned as he felt his tongue being touched teasingly by the brunette. He didn't taste anymore blood but he wanted to kiss the pure blood more, wanting to explore more of Kaname's mouth as the pure blood does his own since the sensations were too great.
That moan... Zero... you're making me hard! That thought brought Kaname back to reality. He had told himself to wait until after their married, so he pulled back from the kiss, leaving both vampires panting.
Zero wondered why the pure blood suddenly broke the kiss. Wait. Did I just think of that?! Zero, turning a deep shade of red, quickly pushed the pure blood away from him and scooted backwards until his back hit the bed-post. I just got kissed by Kuran again and I can't believe I liked it! Just that mere thought made smoke come out of the silverette's cheeks.
"Zero." Kaname called out to the silverette, obviously seeing the flustered appearance Zero displayed to him. "Are you alright now?"
"Y-yeah, I am. Thanks..." Woah! Where did that come from?! Zero was actually saying 'thank you' to the pure blood! Uwaah! My mouth moved on its own!
Kaname felt his stomach do a violent flip when he heard those words come out of the silverette's mouth. The pure blood moved closer to the silverette despite him trying to scoot away from Kaname. "Zero." The brunette called.
"Wh-what?" Zero was a scarlet wreck again and his words stuttered. He thought that the brunette would try to do something weird again only to be kissed on the forehead. What the-?
"Try and get some rest for now." Kaname smiled at him lovingly. That kind smile that Zero saw made his heart skip a beat. "I shall take my leave." When Kaname was about to stand up and leave, he felt a hand tugging on the sleeve of his dress shirt. His eyes trailed to Zero who was surprised at his own actions. Quickly, Zero let go of Kaname's sleeve.
My body moved on it's own... Zero thought, a small pink hue on his face. Kaname smiled again at Zero's cuteness.
"I'll come back, Zero. You don't have to worry." With this said, Kaname pecked Zero's lips for a mere split second before leaving.
Zero was still in a sitting position even after 3 minutes since the pure blood left. Both of his hands were on his chest, and he can feel his heartbeat going back to normal. "Haa..." He sighed. "I just don't get it..." He whispered to himself. "I'm actually falling for another vampire..."
Knock. Knock.
Zero woke to the sound of the knocking at his bedroom door. Sitting up, he rubbed his groggy eyes. "You may come in." He permitted and the door opened, revealing his blonde butler, Yuya.
"Good morning, Kiryu-sama." Yuya smiled at his master. "Breakfast is ready downstairs. Please don't keep it waiting." Despite being a butler, Yuya sounded like Zero's mother. Perhaps that's why Zero treats his butler differently unlike any other servants.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be right down, Yuya." Zero drowsily smiled at his butler in return. Waking up to see his ever-so-happy-and-elegant butler starts his day with a good vibe.
When his butler had already exited the room, Zero grabbed a towel and took a quick shower. Emerging from the bathroom with a new pair of pants and a towel on his head, Zero rummaged through his closet/cabinet for something nice to wear. I have so many clothes here that I can't even choose which one I should wear today... He thought. Deciding on a simple polo shirt, he went down to the dining area where a delicious breakfast was waiting for him.
"Good morning Master." Greeted the other servants who were in the dining area. Zero just nodded, acknowledging their presence.
"For today's schedule..." Yuya popped outta nowhere with a small hand book as the silverette ate. "...there is only one thing for you today, Kiryu-sama."
"Oh?" Zero asked. Usually he would get a lot of things to do everyday and having only one to attend to is very rare. "What is is then Yuya?"
"You forgot?" Yuya said in disbelief. Zero didn't remember anything being said the past days so why was Yuya shocked? "It's Cross-san's birthday."
That small statement sent Zero into the pits of despair. How could I forget?! Damn it! He couldn't believe that he forgot his caretaker's birthday.
Kaien Cross was the legendary hunter who has retired from his hunter duties early. Zero never knew that he would be taken care by this admirable man when his parent's passed away when he was 13 years old.
"Shit! I need to buy something for him!" Zero said out loud. "Yuya, I'm going out. When I get back, there better be a cake nicely cased on the table, if you don't mind." Zero took his coat off the coat rack and headed out after hearing Yuya's words.
"Understood Kiryu-sama."
Zero was sprinting from one shop to another, trying to find a suitable present for Cross. Damn! Why are all the stores so low in variety here! Zero thought to himself as he ran. After a few moments, he then ran into someone.
"Ah. Sorry." He apologized but when he looked up, he saw the brunette. "Kaname?"
"Good morning. Zero." Kaname smiled.
