A/N of 2/22: Happy New Year! I changed my username from Annabeth Morgan-Chase-Jackson to atnuka, but that shouldn't be too big of a deal.
I checked this story after quite a while, and realised I had forgotten to post the answers to that the test in Chapter 4, so here they are:
1. It's her dad's birthday.
2. They would think that Cammie wasn't 'appropriately' remembering her father and that she had no respect for him. After all, it would look like she was celebrating his death. In reality, she had accepted his death and was trying to move on with her life.
Also, since I completely forgot everything about this series, I'll just post two one-shots that I found before. Enjoy!

FRIENDS: Will comfort you when your crush rejects you.
BEST FRIENDS: Will go up and ask him, "It's because you're gay, isn't it?"
"Cammie?" Zach asked, sounding confused. "Morgan?" he asked again, then laughed. "Why would I be with her?"
"Are you okay, Cammie?" Eva asked me. "You seemed pretty embarrassed at lunch."
"Yeah, Eva, I'm–"
"Oh, who am I kidding? Of course you're not okay! You just got rejected by the hottest boy in school! He–"
"Not helping!" I interrupted. "Where're Bex, Liz, and Macey?"
Meanwhile…
"It's because you're gay, isn't it?"
"What?" Zach looked up from his dinner and turned to Macey, incredulous.
"I could run a few tests to find out. A thorough analysis coupled with–"
"No need, Liz. We know he's not gay."
"Thank you, Bex. What are you–"
"He's just a man-whore with no respect for a girl's feelings."
"A what? Look, if this is about what happened at lunch–"
"Of course it is! You–"
"–then I meant what I said. I didn't see Cammie during the Code Black until you did."
"…"
"…"
"Okay Macey, we tried your way. Now it's my turn. Liz, get the baseball bat."
FRIENDS: Will be there for you when he breaks up with you.
BEST FRIENDS: Will call him up and whisper, "Seven days..."
Much Earlier
"I'm sorry, Liz, but I don't think it will work out."
"Why not? Did I do something wrong? What–"
"It isn't you," he interrupted. "It's just… we never spend any time together, and it feels like we're both not really into the relationship."
"Oh."
"Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"What? Why—oh, church, right… I'll see you then."
"Okay. Bye, Liz!"
"Bye, Thomas."
A Little Earlier
"What an idiot. Who wouldn't want to be with you, Liz?"
"Sounds like he's cheating on you. I mean, 'not really into the relationship'? Who says that?"
"Thomas."
"It was a rhetorical question, Liz."
"I know, Alice."
"Oh! We have a party in an hour. I have to get home."
"So do I. Will you be okay, mate?"
"I'll be fine, guys. Go enjoy the party."
"If you're sure. Good night, Liz."
"Good night, Kayleen. Night, Alice."
Now
"HE SAID WHAT?!" screamed Bex.
"He said–"
"Rhetorical question."
"What a douche."
"Don't call people things like that, Mace."
"Sorry, Lizzie."
"So he had the nerve to say 'see you tomorrow' after breaking it off?" Cammie asked, outraged on her friend's behalf.
"Yeah…"
"Bex? Macey? Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Yup."
"Of course!"
"Liz, we'll call you back, okay? Just need to make a phone call."
"All three of you?"
"Yeah."
"Okay…"

"I wonder what they're up to…"
Meanwhile
"Hello?" Thomas asked, annoyed. He had been in the middle of getting ready for a party, hoping to impress a few girls.
Three voices spoke in a whisper. "Seven days…"
Needless to say, Thomas didn't go to the party that night. Nor did he go to church the next morning. No one saw much of him for the next seven days. On the eighth, he barricaded himself in his house.
He was never to be seen again.
