Celestial Dragon

Chapter Six
She was dreaming that she was back at home in her loving mates' arms. Lucy wanted so badly for it to be reality and not a dream, but wanting something does not make it so. She awoke to the burning feeling of water filling her lungs. She tried to thrash around and get air into her lungs, but her wrists and ankles were back to being chained to the wall. Just as the blonde haired mage felt like she was about to pass out the water fell away allowing her to cough up the water and air to feel her lungs. She had her eyes closed and was focusing on steadying her breathing.
"Now that you are awake we can start," said a deep male voice from somewhere in the room. Lucy did not need to open her eyes to see who it was; it was the same voice that she heard right before the darkness took her when they recaptured her.
Lucy opened her eyes and looked around her stone cell to locate the man she knew was there and it did not take her long. Standing there was a man with dark red hair in a pony tail that went down his back, and blood red eyes that looked pure evil. The man looked to be in his late thirties and had a body build that was a little smaller than Laxus'. Over all he was a normal looking man besides what he was wearing. He wore armor that looked like it was made from sapphire colored dragon scales that covered all but his head. On the shoulder part of the armor were spikes that looked like they could be dragon horns.
Movement beside the man drew Lucy's attention to the young girl beside him that looked like she was about sixteen. She had short dark purple hair that was cut into a pixie hairstyle, and light lavender colored eyes that were dull and lifeless. She looked to be a little smaller for her age, but Lucy could no den that she was rather beautiful. She had a black vine like tattoo that covered her neck stopping right below her head and went down her arms to the back of her hands. Lucy could not tell of the tattoo was anywhere else due to the blue tank top and black jeans the small girl wore, though she was pretty sure it did. What got her was who lets a sixteen year old get a tattoo when her body was still growing and maturing?
"Hello Amaya, it is always a pleasure to wake up to you drowning me," Lucy said cheerfully to the dark purple haired girl. Lucy watched as she saw a corner of the small girl's mouth twitch. The celestial mage had been locked up in that cell for three days not and that was the closest the emotionless girl had come to showing some kind of emotion. She turned back to the red haired man that was now glaring at her in irritation.
"Takeshi, you need to come up with some new ways to torcher people. Amaya drowning me and Kenshin cutting me is starting to get boring." Lucy let a chuckle escape her mouth when she was done talking. She couldn't help but trying to irritate the older man, she was beyond tired of his company.
"Silence! Who helped you escape?" Takeshi growled at the blond haired woman that was chained to the wall. He had to fighting back the urge to strangle the half breed dragon when she did not answer back. "Speak woman!"
"First you tell me to be quiet and now you are telling me to talk, which is it?! And who says I need anyone's help to get out of this dump you call a home," Lucy said letting her irritation show. She knew that she should be scared of what the red eyed man might have his lackeys do to her, but the problem was she could not find a single scared bone in her body.
"The chains that hold you against the wall are magic proof and won't let you use your magic. If you could use your magic then you would have used them to stop us from catching you. Then there is the fact that I only allow you to have enough food to survive, not enough to support your magic use. So I will ask you again, who helped you escape?" Takeshi was starting to lose control of his anger and having a hard time not hurting the woman in front of him.
"Like I said I don't need anyone to help me get out of this dump."
Takeshi let out a growl that sounded like an animal getting ready to go in for the kill. He glared at Lucy who was glaring right back at him. "You are right; I need to step up the torturing. Amaya why don't you have some fun, get creative, and no dinner."
"I don't think the no dinner part is a good idea. She already has little to eat and missing a meal could kill her," said an emotionless famine voice from beside Takeshi. The red haired man looked at the girl gave her a look like he wanted her to burst into flames while Lucy kept her glare locked onto him.
"If it wasn't for the fact that you are my daughter I would have you executed from how many times you talked back," Takeshi growled out through clench teeth.
"I highly debut that it is because I'm your daughter that I'm still alive." Amaya looked at her father with the same blank look on her face that she had on the whole time that they were talking. She looked to be unfazed by Takeshi words.
Lucy did not think Takeshi's glare could grow more heated but it grew darker and looked more like he was going to murder the small girl beside him. "Fine she can eat, but I expect you to put more effort into torturing the bitch."
"As you wish master," Amaya said before she walked out of the room. Takeshi looked back at Lucy and let out one more hateful growl before leaving the room.
Lucy let out a sigh of relief that the horrible red haired mage was gone. She had never actual seen Takeshi use any magic but she could feel it coming off of him. She had tried many times to figure out what type of magic he used but it was nothing like she had ever felt before. This time though she did not think about the evil man's magic but her mates and hoping that they were ok. The more she thought about them the more she felt her eyes start to burn from the buildup of tears. She wanted so badly to be back with them in the home that they built for themselves.
"Think about them again," said the familiar voice of Amaya. Lucy looked up to finding the lavender colored eyed girl holding a tray of food in one hand, a bucket of water in the other, and a bag hanging from her shoulder. As she stepped away from the door a water barrier raised from the ground stopping anyone from entering or even looking in and seeing.
"I can't help it," Lucy said not bothering to hide the sadness that was in her voice.
Amaya watch Lucy's sad face for a moment before sitting the thing that she was carrying down a short ways away. She walked over to Lucy, talking out a key that was in her pocket, and began unlocking the chains that bond Lucy to the wall. "There is no point in mopping about it."
Lucy let out a sigh of relief as her wrists and ankles were set free from there binds. She checked her wrists over and began to rub them trying to get the dull ache to go away. "Thanks."
"I brought clean, warm water for you to wipe off in; the wash rag is in the bag." Amaya pointed to the bucket of water before she went to sit against the wall on the opposite side of the room.
Lucy walked over to the items that Amaya sat down just moments ago. She opened the small bag to find the rag that the purple haired girl was talking about along with a dagger. The blonde haired mage just shook her head at Amaya innocence, the young girl was going to get herself killed one day. Lucy wasted no more time in grabbing the piece of cloth, dipping it in the warm water, and wiping what she could of the dirt and dried blood off her body. Once she got what she could of the grim off of her body she turned to the tray that held her food. She immediately noticed that once again it was more than what she was supposed to get. Lucy began to eat when Amaya finally spoke.
"I owe you a thank you. You could have just as easily given him my name to avoid being tortured but you didn't," Amaya spoke as she looked at the ground so that Lucy could not see her face. Her voice was a little more gentle than when she normally talked.
"Why would I give up my only hope of getting out of here," Lucy said with a little laugh as she continued eating. "So I take it since the dagger is in the bag that I'm doing it again?" Lucy watched as the girl nodded still looking at the ground.
Over the time Lucy had been trapped in the stone cell she had grown rather fond of Amaya. Even though she never let her emotions show, Lucy was pretty sure that was her father's doing, she was not cut out to be in a dark guild like this one. She was always sneaking Lucy in a little more food that what she was supposed to have, even though it was still not enough for her to be able to use her magic. Even most of the cuts on Lucy's body were self-infected. Amaya would torture her when her father or another member of the guild was around, but when they were alone Lucy did her own torturing. She never really asked the purple haired girl but she was pretty sure she actually didn't have the stomach to actually torture anyone.
"I'll find another ways to get you out of here," Amaya said finally looking up at Lucy. For the first time, even if it was just for a second, Lucy saw Amaya show a small amount of emotion when the corners of her mouth turned up into a sad smile.
