"I'm sorry" Raven looked down at her hands
"It's fine Raven" Connor extended his arm across the counter placing his hand on hers "You didn't know"
"Thank you Connor" Raven smiled she could feel him squeeze her small hand
"Everything will be okay"
"I'-" Raven was going to reply to Connor when her name was announced; calling her to them main room "I guess that's me" Raven smiled towards Connor
"Have fun Raven" Connor smirked watching the woman leave the kitchen
Raven used her powers to change into her 'hero' outfit. Walking into the main room; and walked towards Batman.
"Everything okay?" Raven raised an eyebrow
"You have a mission; I suggest you get ready"
"Oh?" Raven blinked "Any details?"
"You're going hunting"
"For who?" Raven looked at Batman
"Vibe"
"Wasn't Vibe just here this afternoon?" Raven raised an eyebrow
"He is up to something; and I want you to find out what"
"Any leads?"
"We believe he is reaching out to the light" Batman gave her a bundle of paper "You up for it?"
"Say no more" Raven spoke "I'll take it; I will have to go under cover, won't I?"
"Yes" Batman spoke about the task, and showed images to Raven "something wrong?"
"Not at all Batman" Raven had a smirk on her face "I know this landscape; It will be a piece of cake"
"Good" Batman nodded his head "I suggest you wear more then that"
"You don't have to tell me that Batmn" Raven blinked "When do I leave?"
"When ever you're ready" Batman crossed his arms
"I will be right back" Raven nodded her head, leaving the room. She headed towards her room; and opened, one of her bags she had. She grabbed her combat boots and through them on the floor. Quickly putting on black pants and slid her boots on; tying them tightly. Grabbing shirt she slid it on, and pulled it as far as she could down.
"What the?" Raven blinked looking down, the shirt seemed to shrink and now barely covered half way down her body. "Well this sucks; perhaps I grew?" Raven blinked, looking in the bag, she saw a fishnet shirt. Taking off the shirt she decided to throw the fishnet shirt under her shirt. Grabbing a black leather jacket. 'This is will have to do'
Raven headed back to the main room; and was going to place her hood on. Quickly remembering she didn't have a hood; she decided to ignore them.
"Nice style" was the only thing Batman replied
"It was bigger when I was a kid" Raven frowned "It will have to do for this mission"
"Your weapon?"
"My old bow" Raven held out her hand to the side only to make a portal with a bow coming out "Strongest bow you will ever find"
"Good" Batman frowned "I suggest you look more different"
"I have magic for a reason" Raven closed her eyes and her hair levitated up to tie itself into a pony tail, she then hid her chakra that was on her forehead. Within seconds Raven's once black hair changed to a purple; and her eyes changing to a green colour. "Better?"
"Yes" Batman informed her
"I guess I am off" Raven then made her way to the portal to get out of mount justice
"You'll need this" Batman threw a small ear piece "You'll name will be Nightingale"
"Perfect" Raven nodded exiting through her portal
~Raven's Misson~
The once blue sky; soon fell into an inky canopy of darkness, freckled by dozens of stars; glistening over the world. The bright full moon; was the brightest source of light; Raven had to work with. Raven had taken Megan's ships; due to Batman demanding her to. Coming closer and closer to her destination, she switched over to stealth mode.
"Nightingale do you copy?"
"Go ahead" Raven replied
"We just more got news; Bane is in your area"
"I handled him once, I can do it again" Raven stopped the shift in the huge tree "No communication from now on; I'll contact you when done"

Raven opened the hatch to exit Megan's ship. Jumping from the tree to another, was easy. Raven quickly decided to jump onto the ground, and take a hike. Through the rough terrain, once Raven started to hear yelling, she could feel the ground shake under her feet.
'What in Azarath's name?'
Crouching down as soon as she heard a mans voice yelling. Raven couldn't see where she was hiding; so she quickly jumped up to a branch and another one so she could see them; but they couldn't see her through the branches.
'It's best I don't use my powers' Raven thought to herself 'I might need them later'
Looking towards an incoming man; running towards the group of three before her. She tapped the ear piece twice; turning on the video feed.
"Did you get it?"
"Yeah" the man nodded "come on"
"Let's make our rounds first" Raven heard the third man reply
"yes sir"
Hours went by, Raven observed them and their routine. Using her powers to see the access code for the door, was three buttons.
'how easy'
Raven jumped down quietly; waiting for the ground squad to pass by. She followed them towards the fence; when they turned down another path; Raven slowly and quietly walked into the premises. Quickly making her way to the door, she entered the key code; getting access to the building. Looking around she slowly entered the building and looked both ways. Closing the door quietly, she walked towards another door in front of her. Cracking the door lock wasn't a problem; it was hacking the computer.
'Alright skills, don't fail me know' Raven thought to herself and started to download everything from the computer onto a flash drive. Within a couple seconds Raven had successfully got all the files, erasing the program from this computer and taking out another key with a well known virus on it. 'this will screw them over' Raven smirked plugging it it.
Exiting out the room, she cracked into another room; to her surprise they was a bunch of cages; and humans were in them.
'Oh my god' Raven blinked
Tapping on the ear piece once; she enabled the mic.
"Batman do you copy?"
"Loud and clear"
"there are people in here"
"How many?"
" five" Raven tapped the ear piece twice enabling the video feed. She went over towards the computer, and started her magic on the machine. Opening the cages; she started to get all the files on each person and download them onto the flash drive.
"Are-are you gonna get us out of here?"
"Yes" Raven nodded her head
"Raven send them to the ship; Megan will get the ship to fly here" Batman said into the ear piece
"You will be sent to a ship, you will sit down" Raven paused "You then will be taken the Justice League; Azarath Mentirion Zinthos" Raven opened a portal for them; to step in. "It's safe, I promise you"
"Thank you" A little girl smiled up at Raven
"You are most welcome" Raven nodded her head
Everyone that was in cages; were now freed and back on Megan's ship. Raven could feel their presences leave the area.
"they're on their way over towards you"
"Good job
"Nightingale out" Raven tapped the mic off, and silently left the room. Seeing the guards make their rounds inside; Raven quickly transformed into her soul self and flew up to the rafters. She changed into a black raven; just in case Vibe could sense her. The ear piece was now on her foot. Showing the team what she was looking at.
Just in time to, Raven saw a door open, and Vibe getting kicked out of the room they were in.
Then a man with pale white skin stepped out; the Joker. Beside him was Harley Quinn; laughing as she reached into the bag and pulled out a recording tape.
"You you got into the Hall of justice" Joker laughed "How was it in there? I heard chocolate fountains are inside"
"I got in" Vibe looked bad; he had a face of disgust for the two clowns standing in front of him.
"Was Batsy there? Oh how I miss the big brute" Joker twirled around hugging himself
"He wasn't there"
"Mr. Jay we have to get get Ivy" Harley popped a piece of bubble gun
"Oh that's right" Joker laughed "She is needy for our baby"
"What do you want me to do?"
"You? Go hang out with Bane" Joker had a crazy smile painted on his face
Watching the three walk away from each other, Raven's mission was to follow Vibe. Keeping her eye on Vibe. She saw him exit the warehouse.
'look's like its time to leave' Raven thought to herself and phased through the roof. Flying back towards the hall of Justice.
Hours went by; and Raven could feel herself started to get weak. Raven looked down and spotted a cruse ship.
"Mission accomplished" She couldn't help but smile, landing on the ship.
"Stop right there" a man's voice called out "Turn around slowly, I have a gun and not shy to shoot"
"You got it" Raven slowly turned around, and saw the man.
"wow" the man seemed to be surprised at her
"Alright you caught me" Her hands were in the air
"You shouldn't play hero chica"
"I'll keep that in mind"
"What were you doing here?" He narrowed his eyes at her
"I accidentally got on the wrong ship" she saw some blood on his shirt
"Yeah thats what they all say now say good-bye" he pointed the gun at her again, only to get it ripped out his hands by another man
"Stop you moron" the man glared "follow me darling"
Raven followed him into the small room and waited for him to speak.
"I know you aren't like the rest of the delicate cargo" he smirked as he sat back on a chair
"oh yeah do enlighten me" Raven spoke towards the unknown man
"My brother told me about a beautiful woman, and I think that you are her" He spoke "I'm Vibe's brother; in a gang Los Lobos"
"I see" Raven glared "What do you want?"
"I want you to recruit him into your gang; not Los Lobos"
"We are not a gang" Raven informed him "We are the Justice League"
"I know, Please help my brother" He pleaded "If you don't I don't know what will happen"
"I will try" Raven spoke feeling his emotions of depression and hurt
"I'd be forever in you debt" He smiled "My name is Dante Ramone"
"Please call me Raven" Raven smiled shaking his hand "I will do the best I can for your brother"
"I'm sorry about the young man, we are supposed to guard the ship in case someone tries to jack the ship"
"I believe you" Raven spoke "but why is their blood on that man?"
"He was wounded, we have many men wounded" he frowned
"What kind of cargo do you have?"
"well we are just transporters, we got a woman paying for statues to make it safely to the states"
"I see, I wish you good luck" Raven said as she stood up "Thank you for letting me rest, I can heal your men"
"you don't need to Hermosa Cuervo"
"Alright take care" Raven opened the door and floated off the boat and turned into a raven and flew off to her home
-Hours later-
'I can't say I've been so excited to see the hall again' Raven thought to herself, Landing just outside the hall. Raven could feel her shoulder blades scream in pain. 'that sure took longer then expected'
Entering the hall; she made her way to the intercom to get buzzed into the building.

Walking into the hall, she made her way towards where Batman was standing. Turning her head towards laughter, Raven saw Nightwing, Klad'r, Megan, and Artemis laughing. Raven ignored it and stopped right before Batman; only to get Robin to run in between them laughing at a pissed off Lagoon. Once Lagoon ran by her, she saw something sparkle. Blinking she watched Lagoon yell at Robin. Turning her head back towards Batman; she could already tell she was going to be in trouble.
"You lost connection" He started "What happened?"
"Nice to see you too Batman" Raven raised an eyebrow "Mission accomplished, video feed will show you everything"
"and?"
"I was exhausted Batman, I fell upon a boat"
"..."
"And Turns out, they were transporting statues, Vibes brother was the leader of the ship"
"Any troubles?" His eyes narrowed bring up 'Vibe's' name
"No; he merely wanted me to help his brother" Raven looked into Batman's eyes "I will be helping him"
"He's a villain"
"He's misguided as of the rest of the criminals" Raven argued back; glaring at the man "Here is everything I have gathered" Raven passed him the ear piece, and the flash drive.
"You will not help Vibe" Batman spoke up towards Raven; grabbing everyone's attention, who was in the room.
"I will help anyone who needs it" Raven stood her ground "Even if they are on a wrong path"
"You may leave"
"I don't think so Batman" Raven crossed her arms "If this is what the Justice League means; then perhaps the world was wrong about you; saviours" Raven coughed "More like a joke"
"We will discuss this later Raven" Batman started to walk out of the hall
"I guess we shall" Raven glared at the man and watched him leave.
"woah"
Raven ignored the other's and turned on her heel and started to walk back towards her room.
"Look Batman, ne needs some time to think" Robin called over "Don't worry about him"
"I'm not worried about him at all" Raven stopped looking over her shoulder "I'm more worried about Vibe"
"What's up between you and Vibe?" Nightwing walked up towards her, Nightwing couldn't help but feel jealous "Nice outfit"
"I saved him once; and I can do it again" Raven paused "He's misguided, he's only a friend as you call it so easily"
"A friend? You saved him and he left" Nightwing frowned "That isn't what I call a friend"
"Nightwing, you should have felt the emotions coming from them"
"Emotions?" Nightwing raised an eyebrow
"I'm an empathy remember?"
"Yeah" Nightwing had a blank look "Sorry I forgot"
"I can tell" Raven smirked "I can feel their emotions, Both of them were scared for each other, and both felt wrong"
"I see"
"Now if you'll excuse me" Raven nodded her head "I need to get out of these clothes"
"Get some rest Rae" Nightwing gave a soft smile 'Id help you out of those clothes'
"Will do" Raven walked out of the room, and headed towards her room. Once she reached her room, she didn't know what do to. Grabbing clothes, she went for the shower in her room. Quickly taking a shower, she changed into her regular 'hero' outfit. She grabbed a book, and started to read in her room. Once she felt she had to do more, she got up and left her room. Walking towards the hall, she wasn't paying attention and ran right into Connor. Raven fell back, and waited to hit the ground. The fall never happened, Raven opened her eyes. Raven saw and then felt Connor holding her by her waist.
"Sorry, are you alright?" Concern was covering the man's face
"I'm fine thank you" She was pulled back onto her feet "I'm sorry, I should watch where I am going"
"How was your mission?" He raised an eyebrow
"It was alright" Raven gave a small smile, and rolled her shoulder to get rid of the pain; from the sudden jolt "a bit long" she winced
"You're hurt" Connor blinked "Here, let me"
Raven felt Connor grab her by the wrist, and lead her towards the Kitchen. Sitting down on a chair; she felt his hands start to message her back. She relaxed her body, and sat there with her eyes clothes.
"Wow, you're amazing at this" Raven gasped feeling a tense muscle
"You have a knot" He replied "I'm glad its helping you"
"mhm" Raven moaned feeling the message continue, onto the other shoulder.
"If you need anything, Raven" Connor said out of the blue "Don't be shy" he paused "I suggest you go take a hot bath"
"I think that sounds like a plan" Raven felt his hands drag off of her, getting off the chair, she pushed her hair out of her face "Thank you Connor, I mean it" She leaned over and kissed Connor on the cheek.
"No problem" he had a small blush on his face "anytime"
"Good night Connor" Raven smiled as she walked out of the room; she couldn't help but think of the man.
