A/N: Again, sorry for the lateness. Like, the EXTREME lateness. When was the last time I put up a chapter..? Three months ago? Four? Well, I promise I'm back. I'll try to update every week, if I can, to try and not disappoint. I have this is maintain weekly, my new job to plan and schedule, I still have to apply for universities and take the necessary tests and everything now that I know I have a 3.5 GPA! I know it doesn't seem very high, but consider this; I have gotten two F's and had to retake those classes, and I took only one semester of one AP class one time. If I didn't have that last F, I would have a perfect 4.0. SO TAKE THAT, PARENTS!

Anyway, less about me. I will try to update these. Promise. There is a lot coming, and I feel I'm moving too slow, but there will be a lot of information to be absorbed in the next chapter, so be prepared.

Disclaimer: I do not own SnK, it belongs to Hajime Isayama.

14, Sat. 3:10 am-Paris, France

Levi sighed. It was pointless to fight with the kid anyway. They were both tired, both in pain, and both cranky from being disturbed during the wee hours of the morning. Levi turned onto his left side, back to the bathroom door. At least he should try to get some sleep, even if it didn't seem very likely at this point…

That's when he heard the thump.

"Eren-!" Levi shouted as he bolted from where he was to the bathroom door. He pounded his fists against the door, contempt on simply scaring Eren at first. "Jaeger, open this door now!"

Pure silence echoed from the bathroom and Levi tried to bite back the growing concern. 'He's been Acting like this ever since we landed in Paris…'

"Eren…please open the door…I'm sorry about earlier," he said softly, and there was a soft click at the door, and the teen stepped out, hanging his head. "let's just go back to bed and get some rest, Heichou. We're supposed to investigate the first part of the catacombs in a few hours."

But regardless of what he said, Eren couldn't sleep. He couldn't get over himself, and he didn't know what to think about anything, or if he should think at all. Of course, there was this mission to begin with. They were front-line soldiers, for crying out loud! Why were they getting sent to Paris for some stupid job the King's Guard could cover!? Why did some royal nitwit decide to send the best, strongest, smartest soldiers Germany had to the city of love to investigate some dumb underground maze made of dead bodies that hundreds of thousands of people have already investigated!? What new was there to see!? How wrong he would see he is…

And what about Levi freaking out earlier? It wasn't like the clean freak to worry about anybody but himself-ever; much less Eren? It didn't make any sense. But lately, nothing made sense, and the only thing that did make any sense was what Levi had said about him earlier on the plane. Freak? No. just the only one able to see the light in a dark, soulless world. What light was left? None. How wrong he would see he is…

What about his little 'episode' in the bathroom..? What was that..? Eeven more titan nonsense he didn't understand, and that enraged him. It upset Eren when he couldn't understand such simple things, especially about himself. This was stupid, and dumb, and…and…he simply didn't want to be here.

Oh, how wrong he would see he is!
