Quola Quinn and Lola were the best of friends. Two peas in a pod. 2 in a billion. They were true friends. Connected at the hip. BFFL- Enough with the clichés!- KK. That last one wasn't even a cliché…

Anyways, Quola.

It was the middle of the night, Quinn and Lola were laying down on their favorite hammock, just talking and looking up at the beautiful stars.

They were taking in the peace and serenity of it all.

"Hey, Quinn," Lola asked, interrupting the silence.

"Yeaj?"

"Do you think I could be a storm trooper?"

"Wow, Lola, you're really asking the hard questions here…"

"Okay, your right, I really wanted to ask you about after,"

"After what?" Quinn asked.

"After all this," Lola said moving her hand to emphasize she meant PCA.

"Oh, I don't know,"

"I mean what's going to happen to all of us. We're going to college next year, it's scary!"

"Yeaj, I'm scared too, but we've got each other,"

"For now…" Lola said.

"For always," Quinn said.

They were quiet.

"I am going to miss this place though," Quinn said.

"Yeaj?"

"Yeaj, we have a lot of great memories here," Quinn said explaining herself.

"We have our friends," Lola said, "and our boyfriends," Lola added as an after thought.

"True,"

"I still don't like Logan though,"

"Lola I lo-"

"Yeaj, yeaj, yeaj, I know. You loooooovvvvve him. You guys yelled it loud enough for all of California to hear, it's almost as bad as the 'Choey' drama,"

"Hey that's not true… " Quinn started saying in self-defense.

"You know your right… your just as bad," Lola said with a grin.

"Thank you," Quinn said, "wait- hey!"

"Do you deny it?"

"No."

"Well, there you go,"

Silence.

"What about you and Vince?" Quinn asked.

"I think I might love him," Lola blurted out.

"Lola that's great! Have you told him yet?"

"Yes, Quinn, I went up to him and was all like, 'Hey Vince, I just wanted to tell you that I think I love you but I don't know and if you don't love be back I'll be totally heart-broken so, no pressure.'? No, I want him to tell me…"

"All, romantic, like in a movie right?"

"You know me so well,"

"I should, I'm your best friend."

"I just need time to figure out my feelings for him," Lola explained.

"I get," Quinn said, "I needed time to when I thought that I had feelings for Log-"

"It's all about you isn't it?" Lola said jokingly.

"Yeah, actually it kinda is," Quinn.

"Quinn Pensky? Being vain? What did that boy do to you?" Lola asked half-joking.

"He taught me how to love," Quinn said all romantic-like, making Lola laugh.

"Yeah, well all he taught me was how to hate," Lola said.

"That was kinda mean,"

"You hated him too, once," Lola said in self-defense.

"Vince is a good guy Lola," Quinn said changing the subject, "I really hope that you can figure out whether or not he's the one,"

"You and me both,"

Pause.

Quinn said, "Hey, remember the time when we dressed you up as a boy?"

"Haha, that was a good one, what about the time you beat Firewire's robot?"

"Mmm, all I remember waws Logan getting me those flowers," Quinn said dreamily.

"You would and waws?" Quinn shrugged her shoulders.

"By the way, how did Logan know those were your fav. flowers?"

"Good question,"

"Hey remember the time when Logan and Michael got croutons and cheese all over them?"

"Yeaj! And the time I got Logan to walk around the school in a dress and high heels?"

"I couldn't have done anything better myself," Lola said, beaming with pride at the devilishness that Quinn once had for Logan.

"What about the time when we…" Quinn said.

"Or the time we…" Lola said.

"Man those were good times," they both said at once.

"I'm gonna miss this," Lola said.

Pause.

"You know, I never thought I would have a best friend," Quinn said absentmindedly.

"Really?" Lola inquired.

"Yeaj, I mean, Zoey and Nicole were always tight and I was never really that close with Dana,"

"Michael had Chase and in turn had Zoey…"

"And I didn't like Logan at all back then,"

"I miss those days…" Lola said, "joking!" she quickly added.

"To tell you the truth," Lola said continuing, "I didn't think I would have a BFF here at PCA either,"

"Really? Lola Martinez? Oh, do tell,"

"Well, it's like you said Zoey and Nicole were really tight, Chase had Michael, and I never met Dana," Lola said.

"Plus, you hated Logan too,"

"Why do you say it with a past tense?" Lola asked.

"Lola…" Quinn said.

"Okay, so I hate him a little less now," Lola said, "Anyways, I was always different you know?"

Quinn nodded in agreement, knowing full well how it felt to be not like everybody else.

"I didn't think I would make friends here with my acting lifestyle but it was me you know? Like, my first day here when I dressed up all emo like. I still can't believe I made friends here,"

"I guess we really are really alike," Quinn said.

"What is?" Lola asked.

"That how we're best friends and our boyfriends are best friends,"

"Oh my god, YES!" Lola said laughing.

"I mean who would've ever thought we'd end up the way we did?" Quinn said.

"No one that's who," Lola said.

"Not even Jeremiah Trottman," Quinn said, "Hey remember when he and everyone was there in the showers…"

She didn't even have to finish that sentence, they both started lol-ing at that memory.

"Like OMJs, that day was like so cray-cray!" Lola said in their (stereotypically) dumb-blonde girl voice

"Gurrrrl, I know," Quinn said in the same voice dumb-blonde voice.

"That made like lol so hard, it's crazy," Lola said.

"For realz, like I'm SO going to miss PCA, it's cray-cray,"

"We like totally had some good memories here," Lola said.

"Yeah we did," Quinn agreed.

"Gosh, we've all changed so much!" Quinn said.

"Good-golly I think your right!" Lola said.

"By joe, I turned out to be such the girly-girl," Quinn said.

"I hereby reckon that we should all just mosey on back to the past instead of just sit back and stroke our beards like so," Lola said, proceeding to stroke her 'beard' like so. Earning a laugh from Quinn.

"I would like to ask everyone to please take their seats so we can begin prayer," Lola continued, making Quinn laugh harder.

"Oh, hum-de-hum, we are gathered here today by the plight of . He was a good Chicken, and Mrs. Chicken would not be pleased to find out that he was turned into, pollos."

"It's the same thin-"

"Hush, my child, we are in prayer," Lola said with a straight face, "now it is time, to eat. Guess what were serving? Chicken!" "

Then," Lola said, "Mrs. Chicken goes all like bawk-what! And goes all ka-ra-te on the priest, only to find out that he was a part of a secret organization wanting to rid the world of Mr. Chickens. They were posers, fake chicks, really they were roosters! So, Mrs. Chicken went undercover to stop all the fakers and haters of the world. Not to mention all the wannabes and ratchets out there. True story." Lola finished

"Wow, it must be a true epidemic," Quinn said.

"It is," Lola agreed.

"I've got a great real-life story about how my chair saved the world by saving the president's life, going into space and going into other dimensions to meet real-life superheroes and how he never got the girl. A really great story, but... look at the time," Quinn said.

"Guess we should go back…" Lola said.

"Wait, let's get a look at the stars real quick," Quinn said.

"Hey this reminds of The Fault in our Stars by John Green, have you read it?" Lola asked Quinn.

"Yeah, it's a great book, with really awesome parts. Like near the end where..."

"Shhhh! Spoilers much?" Lola said.

"But, I thought you read the book?"

"Oh, I did, but you wouldn't want to spoil it for anybody else now would you?" Lola asked.

"No," Quinn said, "but who would I spoil it for?"

"Them," Lola said pointing at . (sssshhhh! it's a secret!)

"OH, makes sense."

After getting one last look at the stars, they got out of their hammock and headed back to their dorm room.

"The future's scary Lola," Quinn said, not joking around anymore, going back to her regular voice.

"You're worried about the what-ifs," Lola clarified, going back to her usual voice.

"Yeah, I mean like, what if we break-up with our boyfriends?" Quinn asked.

"We'll get through it," Lola answered.

"What if we don't accomplish our dreams and goals?" Quinn asked.

"We'll get through it," Lola answered.

"What if we break up with our closest friends?" Quinn asked.

"We'll get through it," Lola answered.

"What if we break up?" Quinn asked.

"That won't ever happened." Lola said.

"But what if we do?"

Lola couldn't answer her...

"Lola, can you make me a promise?" Quinn asked.

"What is it?"

"That no matter what it'll always be you and me no matter what," Quinn said.

"No matter what," Lola promised.

"The actress," Lola said.

"And the scientist," Quinn said.

"Catchy," Lola said.

Arm-in-arm, they got ready to brace the world together, no matter what gets thrown in their way.

"From here on out, it's just you and me," Quinn said.

"It's you and me against the world, baby," Lola said.

"We've got each other…" Quinn said.

"For now,"

"For always,"

Peace and have a sunshiny day! intheknowgrl24-7
