AUTHOR'S NOTE: I am so sorry that this happened. It's not that I forgot updating. It's just that I had been busy these past months. I am so soory about that. My modem crashed. So I apologized.

This chapter is just a short one that I wrote so that I would at least conquer this writer's block I always is now having which is not helping my current situation.

CHAPTER SIX

Clint Barton was having a small chat with his callers and William when a distress voice of a girl sounded from his phone which was plugged to his computer.

"Pappa," she said. "I need you to open the biggest window in your office. I'm going in."

"What?" Clint said confused but did as what he was told.

"What does she mean by that?" William asked as the blinds and the windows opened making air come in through the opening.

Clint pushed a button in his keyboard opening a panel of the glass in his office. He stood and the edge looking at the panting figure of his daughter in on the wall held only by a cord from above.

"What are you doing?" Clint said in a tone that says he is not pleased with what he is seeing.

"Your line is not long enough!" William said beside him.

"You don't say?" a female voice replied sarcastically. "It's stuck."

"What is going on?" Pepper asked as she put down the cup of coffee she was sipping and looked at where Clint was looking.

"Catch me papa," the girl said.

"Always," Clint said as he held out his hands out and caught the petite form of a girl in his arms.

That perk everyone's attention as they look Clint and to the girl in his arms. It was the first time they saw Clint doing anything parental. Clint was caressing the child as if she was made of porcelain. He was caressing her like how a father would to a child as he reassures her that everything is alright.

The moment between the two was only for a moment before the girl stood up and groaned.

It was the first time they saw the girl fully. With her blonde hair in disarray, she wore a pair of white pants and a white shirt under her white jacket.

It was a moment of full amazement before Tony jumped up and made a whooping sound.

"Tony what are you doing?" Pepper asked.

"Ha!" he said. "I knew it. I knew it. She is blonde."

"What are you rambling about Stark?" Clint asked confused.

"Your daughter. She is blonde."

"Excuse me?" The girl asked clearly not getting anything.

"You are Clint's daughter, right?"

The girl looked at Clint as he nodded. a smug and amuse look on her face.

"Yes," the girl nodded. "I am."

"And you're blonde?" Tony asked his barely contained glee leaking in his voice.

"As of the moment, yes," the girl said confused her face darting at everyone on the room before it stopped on the opened window. She turned to William who was near the keypad, "Close that window Uncle, they will still be looking for me."

"Who is looking for you?" they asked but Anya ignored them and turned to her father who was already opening a hatch behind the book shelf in his office.

"In here Anya,' Clint said which his daughter followed.

"I'll talk to you later, papa," the girl said. "Dinner at seven. Love you"

"Love you too, Anya," Clint said.

Once the door closed behind the girl, everyone was still frozen on the spot. They watched as Clint stared at the place the girl went. Everyone shell shocked.

The dinner was set. Plates were prepared throughout the table together with the other silverwares. The turkey was in the oven cooking. Desserts on the freezers with the selected wine Anya found in her father's stash.

Anya had finalized the dinner arrangement with her father an hour before she started with cooking all the courses. Now two hours later everything was prepared. Covered with some of the ingredients, Anya made her way up stairs to her room to change to some fresh clothes.

She took a quick shower. Dressing up to a simple white dress that she loved so much, she headed back down. She watched the turkey noticing that she still has twenty minutes before it to be done. She decided to go watch a movie to help herself in the waiting process.

She chose her new favorite Disney movie, Frozen.

The house was silent with only the sound of the movie on the huge screen in the living room.

The red-haired girl sat down on the couch directly in front of the screen. Her legs tuck under her and a white stuff toy in her arm.

"Are you sure that revealing your real identity is wise, miss?" the A.I asked Anya suddenly.

"I asked my dad," Anya replied. "And he said, I can if I want too. And I want too. But now, that you mentioned it, I don't. I'll probably suit up. I guess."

"Talking to yourself again, princess." A male voice said from behind her.

Anya tensed up as she heard the footsteps down the hall but recognized the voice that spoken before she could whipped out her dagger concealed at the side of her boots.

"CHARLES!" she screamed tackling the raven-haired boy into a hug.

"I missed you, doofus." She whispered in his ear.

The boy chuckled as he hugged her back.

"Missed you too, princess." He said.

They stayed like that for a few minutes before Anya let go and slapped Charles' shoulder making the boy yelp. "What in Hades are you doing here, doofus?"

"What? Is it a problem that I visit my girlfriend the moment I arrived back from Italy." Charles shrugged completely oblivious.

"NO!" she shook her head. A small smile on her face.

"Why are you dressed like that?" he gestured to her favorite white dress and a pair of flats. "And why do I smell turkey in the kitchen?"

"Oh my gosh! The turkey!" the red-head girl dashed towards the direction of the kitchen. Charles chuckled following behind her.

"Why are you making that delicious turkey of yours anyways?" he asked seating on one of the stools around the kitchen island watching the girl take out the turkey from the oven.

"Dad's friends are coming over for dinner, doofus." She replied.

"Uncle William's family? Or someone else's" he asked as she placed the steaming turkey in front of him.

"The Avenger's actually and their family, if I'm not mistaken." She said the last part in an afterthought.

"Avenger's? That top-secret spy group your father was part of before?" he asked as picked one of the cookies on the dessert plate placed on the island.

"What other Avenger's are there?" she replied looking at him with that vivid green eyes of hers.

"Just asking, princess," he said in surrender.

"Princess?" she laughed. "You haven't thought of another nickname for me the entire time you were in Italy."

"I already think it's perfect for you." he replied as he feed her a piece of the cookie he got. "So why change it."

Charles watched Anya waiting for a comeback that didn't come.

"When are they arriving anyway?" Anya took a seat beside Charles.

The sound of cars arriving sounded from the driveway.

"Now!" Anya replied.

"And your father agreed that you would be in your normal self with them?" he asked.

Anya just shrugged with a thoughtful look on her face before she faced him with a question on her face.

Charles nodded. "Go! Masquerade yourself! I'll welcome them in."

"Thanks, Charles," she kissed his check before leaving the room.

"Do not touch the food, Charles!" she screamed over her shoulder.

Charles only chuckled.

Reviews are still welcome.

Thanks guys!
