Kerry gaped at Bridget. "Are you kidding me?" Kerry asked. Bridget shook her head. "You've gotta be kidding me!"
"Okay, don't tell CJ! I swore to Deidra I wouldn't tell him."
"Bridget, you have to tell him one way or another, he's gonna find out eventually anyway!"
"I just think that Deidra should tell him, that's all."
"So I found out something today," Kerry said. "Candy's dating Kyle."
"No! She can't be!"
"Yep. Just to get back at me because I missed a study day."
"But that's not fair! She can't date Kyle that's not what friends do?"
"What about Charlotte?"
"That doesn't count, Charlotte's not my friend. She's the devil." Kerry shrugged and Bridget sighed and glanced over at her.
"So, you're definitely not telling CJ, right?"
"Of course I'm not. I won't, I promise."

The sisters burst into the house. "CJ! CJ! COME HERE, WE NEED TO TALK TO YOU!"
"KERRY!" The two squealed as they chased each other. Bridget grabbed hold of Kerry and covered her mouth with her hand as CJ appeared.
"What? What is it, what do you want?"
"Kerry just wanted to tell you that…" CJ stared at her, waiting for an answer. "Mike's gay. And he has a crush on you."
"What?" CJ asked, shell-shocked. He whipped out his phone and began texting.
"DON'T TELL HIM WE TOLD YOU!" Bridget said.
"That wasn't what Kerry was gonna tell me, was it?" CJ asked, lowering his phone.
"It so totally was!" Bridget lied.
"Oh, Bridge, you're such a terrible liar." CJ taunted. "Okay, spill, what is it?
"I can't tell you! We can't tell you!"
"I want you to tell me, and I'm not leaving this spot until you tell me!"
"Well then you're gonna be there for a while." Bridget then dragged Kerry up to their room.
"Bridget! He's gotta find out anyway, I just think sooner will be better than later."
"I know, but I promised Deidra-,"
"You can't keep every promise, Bridget." Kerry said.

About one hour later, they came back down from their room to see CJ still standing in the exact same spot. Bridget retreated back up the stairs, while Kerry rolled her eyes and nudged CJ's shoulder.
"CJ, get off the phone for two seconds."
"Shush, it's Mike."
"And? Blow off your boyfriend for two seconds."
"He's not my boyfriend! Sorry, babe."
"CJ, this is something you need to hear."
"Shush!"
"CJ."
"I'm on the phone."
"DEIDRA'S PREGNANT WITH YOUR BABY!" Kerry snapped. CJ stared at her, his jaw dropped as his phone fell from his hand. Around the corner of the stairs, Bridget winced.
Oh god, how am I gonna make it up to Deidra now? She thought to herself, sliding down the wall to the floor.
