A/N: Hope everyone enjoys this chapter. I worked really hard on it, and was brainstorming tonight and couldn't stop writing. I hope to have the next chapter up in 2 weeks, but it all depends in what my life decides to do. I have a busy weekend ahead of me, and so I wanted to type this up tonight to get it up there for you guys. Hope this is everything you were hoping for as Kristoff/Anna and Rapunzel/Eugene finally are morphed into one story instead of being two separate plots. Enjoy, and please remember to review and criticize my work. If I get no feedback from you guys, I don't know if I'm doing the story justice or not.
Have a sun-tastic day you little flowers!
Note: Also, with future chapters ahead, and with the way I want the story to go, I may or may not have to change the rating to M. This chapter by itself gets pretty steamy, and so T-rating is definitely a must. But I am a descriptive writer, and so I'm not sure if I can hold back and follow the guidelines of a regular T-rated story. Let me know what you guys think. Should I keep it innocent or would you like more of the steamy stuff? You get a little taste of it in this chapter, so let me know if that's more of what you want.
On the ship to Arendelle, Rapunzel found herself bored to death, as what it seemed. And to make matters worse, Mary, the stranger she had met no longer than two days ago, was very shy and did not talk much. She said nothing to the captain of the ship, and almost nothing to Rapunzel since they began their journey the day before.
Rapunzel leaned over the railing on the side of the deck, and let the breeze take her short strands of hair into its grasp. She stared down at the blue ocean water that swept by them so fast, which turned the tranquil blueness of it into a spiraling whiteness of foam.
She thought blandly about when she had told her parents of the trip her and Eugene would be taking with Mary from Corona to Arendelle. They had disagreed.
"You can't, darling." Her father told her.
"Dad…I have to. I feel like she's in our life for a reason. Like, we were almost meant to find her so that we could help her." Rapunzel told the King of Arendelle this with dignified certainty.
"Rapunzel, we just got you back! Please. Your mother and I already discussed it and we will bless Eugene's and your wedding." The King prompted his daughter who stood her ground.
"If the Kingdom saw you leaving on a ship with Eugene…it would…it would be improper, Rapunzel. You cannot put yourself into these situations with Eugene until you are properly married." Her mother, the Queen of Corona, told her daughter softly; hinting with her voice what she feared most.
"Eugene is a gentleman, Mom." Rapunzel told her at the hint that she knew the Queen was urging forward. "He would never…he wouldn't want that before we're married." Rapunzel closed her eyes and folded her hands. Sitting down, she stared up at her parents with the gorgeous green eyes she had inherited from the Queen herself. "I know Eugene better than anyone. He still keeps secrets from me that I wish he wouldn't, but I can't change who he is because I love him for exactly who he is. Flynn Rider and all, he'll one day be my husband and someday the King. I'm pure, and I'm going to stay that way until our wedding night; he wants that for me too. But you have to trust us to travel together. You have trust me, because I trust him."
Rapunzel was pulled from her thoughts in haste as she felt arms snake around her waist behind her on the ship. The sky was beginning to become a deep blue as night had begun to set in. How easy it would be just take Eugene's hand and lead him to the bedroom, to show him that she was a woman instead of an innocent child. How easy it would be…
Eugene did not kiss her; he did not shower her with the thousands of compliments that would make any woman swoon. Instead he just held her, and she embraced in his large chest as they silently looked on into the vast darkness of the sea surrounding them; her back to his chest, her head lying silently against him as she listened to his breathing for the longest time before speaking.
"Thank you for coming, Eugene." Rapunzel thanked her fiancé.
"You're welcome." He whispered in a husky voice that made Rapunzel stir where she stood.
"My parents have blessed us. We can now get married whenever we wish." Rapunzel said to him simply with no emotion.
She felt Eugene tense up and she smiled at the feeling. He turned her around, his eyes large and serious. "What did you just say?" He asked her as though he wasn't sure of his own ears.
"I said," Rapunzel went on; her smile growing with every passing second. "My parents have blessed us…and now we are free to marry whenever we want."
Eugene gasped and Rapunzel flung herself into his arms as he picked her up easily to be met with his height. "My wife…you'll be wife…" Eugene kept repeating the words as though he wasn't sure if it was true, when in fact it was. Rapunzel kissed his brow a thousand more times and then let her lips deliciously meet his. He deepened the kiss and the two engulfed each other as though they were the only two on the ship without a worry in the world. Night had fully set in and the captain was up on deck, paroling the sea ahead. Mary had turned in to her courters and was probably fast asleep. Rapunzel was excited as these thoughts raced through her mind.
Eugene carried her over to where the door stood for his room. He opened it and then found himself on top of Rapunzel as things intensified to the very max when she lifted her dress.
"Wait, wait." Eugene huffed out. Although every fiber in his body wanted him to continue and to kiss every square inch of her naked body, there was one little fiber that still remained, reminding him that they were not yet husband and wife. "I can't. I'm sorry, but we can't do this, Rapunzel."
Rapunzel looked down, feeling rejected as she came to her senses. "You're…right. I don't know what came over me." She crawled out from underneath Eugene and scooted to put her back at the headboard.
"Hey, hey. It wasn't just you. I was out of control, too. "
"But I promised my parents that this wouldn't happen." Rapunzel ran her fingers through her short brunette hair, rubbing her face in the distress she was engulfed in. "I promised them that we wouldn't do anything until our wedding night-"
"And that's exactly what we're going to do." Eugene scooted closer to her, rubbing the tears from her cheeks that Rapunzel didn't even know were there. "If you think about it, all we did was kiss on a bed."
Rapunzel laughed at that and smiled at her soon-to-be-husband.
"Have you been with a lot of women?" Rapunzel asked him in curiosity. She watched as his expression remained blank, but she knew that he would not lie to her.
"Yes, I have." He answered honestly, but quietly.
"Have you ever loved a woman?"
"No."
Rapunzel smiled and scooted into his lap, to which he smiled happily, kissing her cheek. "Do you love me?" She said in the most quiet of whispers. Her eyes were large and serious as his were delicate and loving.
"Very much." He breathed. He paused for a moment, letting them both sync in each other's gaze, before he asked almost in a frightened tone. Afraid of her answer, afraid of what she would say… "Do you love me?" He asked, pausing and then going on with a voice that not even the strongest of ears could make out. "Do you love all of me?"
"I fell in love with you, Eugene, when your name was Flynn Rider." She pecked his nose. "I am in love with you. Completely and madly in love with you."
"Good." He laughed and then tickled her in the sides to which she screamed and tried to get away. She ran outside to the deck, to which he chased her and laughed when she kept running away…
The only woman Flynn Rider had ever chased was the only woman running.
The journey had come to an end, and as Mary emerged from her room, and Eugene emerged from his, Rapunzel could not help herself from being completely and utterly excited to see her good friends Elsa and Anna. In recent letters, Rapunzel knew of a boy that Anna had been courting, though the boy's name was never mentioned, Rapunzel felt as though she already knew him. She had told Eugene of this new man in Anna's life, and so he listened intently as Rapunzel even went as far as to go into the "gushy" details of their love-story.
Rapunzel took Mary's hands to which the young woman bit her lip back in hopes of keeping the tears down. "I know you're scared." Rapunzel told her soothingly. "But your son…he'll understand. He will, Mary. You did what you had to do to give him a better life."
"What if he doesn't see things that way? What if he hates me for it?" The young woman stuttered in her fright. Eugene watched on with a sad expression. He saw the good heart that Mary had, and so it pained him to see her like this.
"If he's anything at all like you, he'll have the biggest and the most tender heart you could ever imagine."
"Fine, Sven! If you want to be a stick in the mud all day, go ahead and do it! I could care less, you stupid donkey!" Kristoff stomped away from his reindeer who refused to walk a step further nor let Kristoff clean out his hoofs which needed the cleaning terribly. Sven had become awfully lazy since moving to Arendelle, and was getting to be quite the fat fellow!
Sven huffed out an angry noise, and then went to make himself a spot in the barn so as he could eat and then sleep.
Kristoff huffed out the same angry noise and made his way to the open gates of the palace where he was going to visit Anna, again, for the fifth time that day. It seemed to him that Anna was the only person that actually could calm him down and morph him into a patient person.
The guards let him in easily, addressing him on a first-name basis, as Kristoff had been there so often before.
"Kristoff!" Anna came running out of the palace door and then slipped, pulling down one of the guards with her, hitting her head on the second guard's arm to which he dropped his sword, tried to catch it, missed and accidently hit a passing woman. Nothing like an entrance from the Princess Anna herself.
Anna looked around, huffed it off, and then got up as though the entire thing had never happened. Kristoff shook his head and smiled lovingly as she began talking at the speed of light. "The ship just pulled in. I got to see Rapunzel! She's so beautiful. And Eugene, he's so dreamy. Not as dreamy as you, of course. You're like the definition of dreamy, like with a picture of your face next to the definition in the dictionary. Anyhow, they brought that woman. You know, the one that's looking for her son? Yeah, she's here. She's super pretty-"
"Hold on, hold on. Okay, where are they now?" Kristoff figured he'd better fit in a question before she continued on her rampage of information.
"Inside." She huffed and smiled, jumping up and down on the ground she stood. "I want to introduce you! Come on!" Anna pulled on Kristoff's bulky arm to which he stumbled and followed her into the palace. "Come on, come on, come on!"
Kristoff laughed and rolled with it. This was the main reason he'd fell so deeply for her. She was the light in his life.
"Rapunzel!" Anna yelled as Kristoff and she entered the main living room where Elsa stood, looking awkward and worried but faking a smile as Kristoff entered. Kristoff made a mental note to ask her later on what was bothering her.
"You must be Kristoff!" Rapunzel held out her hand, to which Kristoff took it gently and kissed it with a tender touch.
"That's me." He said.
"I've heard a lot about you." Rapunzel winked at Anna who blushed and for the first time in a while, was speechless and embarrassed.
"Really now?" Kristoff teased and then elbowed Anna.
"All good things, of course." Rapunzel said. "I want you to meet, Eugene." Rapunzel pulled her fiancé from the deep conversation he was having with one of the guards, turning him around and stating, "Eugene, this is the Kristoff that Anna has told me so much about."
"Kristoff…" Eugene scrunched his eyes and stared at the soft face of the young man for a few seconds. "Kristoff!"
"Flynn?"
"Eugene, now."
The two shook hands and laughed as though they were old friends. Everyone else in the room was lost.
"I met Kristoff when I was kid. He was in Corona with his dad when I saw him in the woods." Eugene explained quickly.
"What a small world." Kristoff was shaking his head in amazement that the very little boy that convinced him to go off on his own without even knowing it, was standing here, a man now.
"Kristoff…"Rapunzel whispered to herself, trying to figure out where she had heard that name before.
Mary approached the group quietly. Her hair was not pulled up, but instead fell in loose curls down her back with the sides pinned up in swirls around her head. She wore a red, simple dress that was beautiful and complimented her features well.
Rapunzel's stomach dropped. "Kristoff," She whispered again. It was the name of the son that Mary was looking for! The air was tense. At least, it was for Rapunzel.
"This is Mary." Eugene finally introduced the young woman after Rapunzel had completely fallen silent in her stupor.
"We will help you in any way we can, Mary, to find whoever you are looking for." Anna said, and then approached Mary to shake her hand.
"Thank you." Mary spoke softly in her cool voice before eyeing the young man that stood behind Anna.
"Kristoff." He said quickly after realizing he hadn't introduced himself.
"Kr-Kristoff?" Mary whispered with wide eyes. Rapunzel's heart felt as though it were going to beat out of her chest.
"Yes ma'am." Kristoff said before approaching her, taking her hand and kissing it gently; kissing the hand of the woman who was his mother.
Mary gasped.
