The seven walked through a large area with Axton and Raider on point. The Bloodshots had really entrenched themselves. They collected what they needed before walking into a large room room with two vending machines. They gave an awkward look at each other before entering a cave with a circular platform in the middle. As they moved up gunfire could be heard. They ran up to the platform only to witness something red hit the centre of it.

The bandits that where there turned into giblets. The light cleared and a woman wearing tattered clothing stood in front of them with glowing red tattoos. She stood as the glowing stopped.

"Sup." she said. "Name's Lilith though the bandits call me the Firehawk."

"Another Siren?" Maya asked in surprise.

"Yep."

Axton stepped forward. "A pleasure, name's Axton. That's Raider, Gaige, Maya, Kraig, Zero and Salvador." He said pointing from one to the other.

"Ah the Vault hunters. Yeah Roland isn't here. The Bloodshots have him at their stronghold."

"We have to find him." Raider said. "By the way INCOMING!"

Raider ran behind the Firehawk and tackled a bandit to the ground. The others followed close behind weapons up.

"How many are coming?" he asked.

"Up y..." the bandit didn't complete his sentence as Raider blew his head off.

Lilith went up to a safe box and took out an Eridian nugget and absorbed it. Her power grew as she absorbed it.

"We have incoming. We need to face them off before we find Roland."

They all nodded before heading back onto the platform. Guns up they waited and waited. One of the pipes and dozens of bandits charged at them. The seven charged in as well. Raider grabbed the helmet of one of the bandits and slammed his face into the floor with a thud. Maya threw a punch into the stomach of one of them before blowing his head off. Axton slammed his head into a bandit sending him staggering back before filling him full of lead.

Zero just slashed his way through the bandits while Kraig, Gaige and Sal tore into the bandits. The bandits numbers where thinned by this. But then another pipe busted open and bandits emerged from the cave entrance. Axton was about to call but Zero already moved to take on the cave entrance bandits. Kraig, Gaige and Sal took the platform they where on while Maya, Raider and Axton took the over platform. Lilith helped out as much as she could.

As Raider took out another bandit a midget jumped on his back and stabbed him in the back. He yelled him pain before he fell on his back slamming the midget into the floor. The midget let go allowing for Raider to finish him off.

"Goddamn midgets." he mumbled.

A heavy weapons bandit landed behind Maya and she instinctively spun round and kicked him in balls sending him to the ground before blowing his head off. Axton slammed his boot into the chest of a bandit sending him over the edge. He smiled at that. The three heavy hitters of the team just ripped into the bandits with Kraig in front, Deathtrap covering him and Sal and Gaige covering them. Zero was having a pretty hard time fighting off the bandits. Axton saw this and threw his turret to help him out.

The team finished off the last of the bandits and relaxed. They where all low on ammo and grenades. But then a rumbling sounded from the pipe above Maya, Raider and Axton's platform. The three looked up and backed up slowly weapons up. The other five came up behind them and three badass psycho came from the piping. Kraig charged at one of them locking fists with him. Maya phaselocked one of the others allowing the team to take the final psycho. The combined fire of their weapons took him out fast. Kraig suffered a punch to the gut that made him stumble back before swinging his buzzsaw at the psycho slicing his chest in half.

They all relaxed but just then the phaselock vanished around the final psycho who ripped his chest skin off and bleeping sounded. Raider turned to Maya who shield had gone down he jumped on her.

"MAYA GET DOWN!" he yelled.

He landed on top of her as the psycho exploded. Limbs, guts and blood showed the room.

"Everyone ok?" Lilth yelled.

Everyone called out as Raider got off Maya who was blushing majority. He helped her up before looking at the sky.

"We should stay for the night. I'll take first watch." Raider said moving over to the platform he was once fighting on.

Halfway through the night Raider still sat on watch and Maya just sat on her bed reading a book that she found. Just as she turned a page Lilith came up and tapped her on the shoulder. She lead the blue haired Siren out of the bedroom and into the open looking out at the stars.

"Ya know I haven't seen another Siren I years." Lilith said.

"Same to you Lilith. But I never expected to see you here. I thought you died." Maya said.

"Ha my demise is rather exaggerated. But I did end up with one hell of a scar."

"Same here. But from a train explosion."

"I hear you. It's a powerful pain." Maya slowly nodded at that. "Maya I've got a question to ask you."

"Spill."

"Of the guy's in your group who do you like more?"

Maya turned to her Siren sister. "Oh no you don't not until you tell me first."

Lilith groaned a bit in defeat. "Ok Roland Is... was my boyfriend."

"Was?"

"We... never completely... got on the right footing. I mean he was handsome but we never really got over being friends since we where Vault hunters."

"I like Raider." Maya said looking down. "Aside from saving my life he's helped me friends my friends. And I know I don't have hero worship. But..."

"But?"

"Well first of I have no idea to get his attention. The other is that he might be the Arcadian monster."

Lilith just looked at Maya with wide eyes. But instead of arguing she just hung her head as well.

"Don't be disappointed if he is."

"I won't."

At the platform Raider was cleaning out his weapons while listing to Maya and Lilith's conversation. His earpiece in his ear allowed him to listen longer range. As he looked through a shotgun barrel he just sighed.

"Maya you are so like her." he said. "I love you too."
