"There's something I need you to know," Trevor said.

They were alone in the class that day and he sounded urgent earlier. For some reason he looked distracted in his silence.

"What is it?" she asked.

His lips parted and paused. He heaved a sigh.

"My parents are moving to Eden."

When she didn't say anything, he continued.

"So, I'll be going...with them."

There was an awkward silence, interrupted only by a shrill whistle at the track field below them. He swallowed.

"Éclair," he paused. "Will you..come with us? With Serah too of course! We have quite a space so...my parents wouldn't mind to have you along."

Éclair held her hands together, with her eyes on the desk. She didn't want to look at him.

"No, Trevor. You know how I feel about these sorta things," she replied at last.

Trevor crumbled back against his chair. He knew what her answer would be but still he had to try.

"Thank you for the invitation but...we're staying in Bodhum. We can take care of ourselves," she said.

And she stood up to leave.

- on graduation day -

The bell chimed as usual but for most of the graduating students, it would be the last time hearing it.

As Trevor sat alone in the classroom, he regarded the messy chalkboard, where the class had left their writings on. As expected, Éclair didn't leave a mark behind. He had come to the class thinking that she might be here somehow, but he was wrong. He couldn't find her anywhere else in the school. It was as if she had disappeared.

The boy ran and ran. He knew he just had to see her before he leaves the next day.

The sun was setting soon. He hoped to catch her before the day ended.

Back at the Farron's residence, the sisters were preparing dinner.

"Sis," Serah said. "I think there's someone at the door. Do you want me to get it?"

Éclair paused and peeked into the door hole. She said nothing and leaned her back against the door.

"Who is it?" Serah gestured.

Just then, Éclair's communicator chimed so she answered it. The boy standing outside was in despair.

"Don't hang up," he said, placing a hand on the door. "I've been searching for you all over...Didn't see you after the ceremony."

Éclair sighed and bit her lip. It was clear to Serah now that her sister was in a little distress, so she went a little closer.

"I'm leaving tomorrow morning," he continued. "Éclair, I just want you to know that I'll be back some day...maybe in a few years, I dunno but...I don't...want to part with you. Maybe we can work it out somehow. Will you...wait for me?"
