An Altered Future

Two boys have just started their Pokemon journey, when suddenly they get sent to the future, nearly 1,000 years after their own time. Here Pokemon are treated as nothing more than test subjects, slaves, organ donors, to keep humans in check, and "other" things. These two join up with a group of rebels, to free the Pokemon and "alter" the future.

6. Chapter 6

Fear. That's all I felt as I ran, carrying my wounded brother in my arms. The gauze I'd covered the wound in hadn't worked. Blood seeped through it, turning my shirt a dark crimson. I was running as fast I could, fear crushing me like an iron fist. I could feel Ty's shallow breathing against my neck. I turned a corner and saw light ahead. I had nearly made it out. I ran towards the light. I wanted out. I wanted- no needed to make it to Violet city. The center there could heal Ty's Pokemon, and, more importantly, him.

I burst out of the cave, the midday sun blinding me for a minute. Once I got my bearings, I turned to the right and ran up route 30 as fast as I could. I was coming to the end of route 30, where it turns into route 31, when I tripped. I fell, turning to the left, hoping to take all the impact. I hit the ground hard. 180 pounds of me, 100 pounds of Ty, and nearly 120 pounds of gear all came down on my left shoulder. I felt, and heard it shatter. The pain was unbearable. All I remembered were two feminine figures standing over me before the darkness took me.

Mysterious Woman's POV

"Are you sure these two are the ones?" I asked the girl standing next to me. She pulled a pokeball from her belt and released the Pokemon. After a minute she nodded and returned the Pokemon to the ball and reattached it to her belt. She turned to me.

"Uxie says they are." She said. "Uxie also says that Mesprit and Azelf are awakening. We should return imediatly so we can be ready for their awakening."

I sighed. "Alright." I didn't exactly believe her. These two didn't look like any damn heroes to me. I grabbed a pokeball from my belt and called out my Alakazam. I told him to pick up the bigger boy, while I threw the smaller one over my shoulder.

I looked to my accomplice. "You ready to go?" I asked her. She nodded. I turned to Alakazam. "Alright Alakazam get us out of here." I told him. With a flash, the five of us disappeared, teleported back to base.

JSM4ster here! Sorry It's been such a long time since my last update! I've been really busy! Also, sorry for a shorter chapter! I personally felt this fit better in the story as this small part, rather than at the start of a really long chapter. Anyways, I have some information! I'm accepting OC's!
