Onto the chappy, peeps! :P

"Why did it have to rain now of all times?" I wonder as water splatters on my head in the muggy afternoon air. Bubbles and Blume both insisted on staying out of their pokeballs after we left the Pokemon Center and headed down Route 3. And of course, we got lost on the way to Cerulean City.

"ODDD ODDD ODDD!" Blume suddenly shrieks, breaking into my thoughts, and I don't notice 'til I look that there's a ravine.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!" I scream, and tumble down through the mud.

SPLASH!

I end up in a puddle and spit out some dirty water. Bubbles and Blume skid down to where I am and look at me worriedly.

"I'm fine," I assure them, and push myself to my feet before looking around the in dim light as the wind lashes rain droplets through my line of sight. "Let's try to get out of this rain.." I tell my pokemon just as Bubbles calls out, and points at something in the distance.

"Is that...Mt. Moon?" I murmur, and the three of us head towards the looming geographical figure.

"ODDD ODDDD!" Blume calls, and hops up and down in front of an opening in the mountain. I duck inside, and pull my pokemon in after me. Letting out a breath, I pull off my hat, begin wringing my hair out, and try to keep myself as warm as possible.

Gary's Charmeleon pops into my mind, but I shove it away. I don't want him to appear before me now. That wouldn't be good... But...I wonder where Gary is now? I mean..he'd been gone for a while right before I'd started my journey and had just returned a week before I got my first pokemon so... I sigh; who knows what he was up too. All I know now is that he's out there somewhere and I need to stay away from him.

Bubbles begins exploring the tunnel, and I watch it. "Don't go too far," I say, and frown when his form disappears. "Bubbles?" Blume and I follow the trail of water Bubbles had made because he was also drenched, and find ourselves climbing up.

My head pops out of a hole and I look up into a cavern. One that is shining and covered in millions of sparkling stones.

Bubbles appears in front of me, and smiles. "Squirtle!" he says, and points at the other side of the cavern. Looking, I notice another hole leading to the East.

"So you found us a pretty chamber as well as a way through the mountain?" I murmur. "Thanks Bubbles!"

Blume hops up and down in random excitement. That's when I hear something: A low hum.

Turning slowly, I look at the stones on the walls. They look...ancient...and very solid, as if time has hardly changed their appearance. I pull myself up and out of the hole before moving towards the stones.

Reaching out, I press my index finger to one. It feels slightly warm to the touch, and it dislodges itself from the wall to fall into my hand. I blink, and stare at the pulsing blue stone. That's when two more tumble to the floor; I pick them up. These are both purple. That's when I freeze.

If these are falling, does that mean the cavern is collapsing?! I don't see any signs, but I shouldn't take any chances. Returning both Blume and Bubbles, I head for the tunnel that leads out before any more of these pulsing stones can fall.

I shove the three I'd taken into my pocket, feeling slightly guilty for removing them, but still curious about them nonetheless. I look over my shoulder, and frown when I can't seem to see the way back into the cavern...it's like it disappeared altogether.

Walking down the most used path, I decide that I'll send the two purple ones to one of my cousins, and keep the blue one.

I'm minding my own business when the attack comes. "It's her! Raticate, Hyper Beam!"

I spin around and backflip out of the way just in time. "Bubbles and Blume, go!" I exclaim, as my nerves of steel shove out all fear that had been trying to overcome my mind. "Hydro Pump and Razor Leaf!"

"ODDDDDDDDDDDD!" Blume roars in a tiny fit anger, and charges at the Raticate. Bubbles facepalms, and blasts the Raticate into the wall before Blume can even get close.

"Odd odd odd!" Blume whines and the two pokemon get in an argument.

"Not now!" I shout, and point. "It's...it's-"

"Yes, Leaf, it's us," one of the admins says, pointing at their half-masks. "Now come along quietly or we'll-"

"HYDRO PUMP AND RAZOR LEAF DAMMIT!" I yell, and my pokemon cause as distraction as I flee the scene.

"After her!" comes the voice of the admin, and I feel terror pushing me forward as I somehow make it out of the mountain; the rain has stopped.

Gasping for breath, I dive into a bush and drag my pokemon after me.

"Search the area!" the admin orders. I sneak away as soon as they've dispersed and head to the East. They'll probably expect me to double back to trick them, so if I do the opposite, I should be fine...I hope.

As I approach Cerulean, I see five trainers stationed on a bridge. The very bridge I need to cross. Walking up to the trainers, I keep my head bowed down and pull my hat over my eyes. Trying to avoid them doesn't work.

"Hey! Trainer!" one calls. "Battle us all simultaneously and you'll get a prize from that dude over there!"

I glance at the opposite side and see a man tossing a nugget up and down. I don't need gold...

"Attack!" the trainer says, and they send out a bunch of Rattata. "Tackle!"

"Bubbles and Blume take them out!" I call, wanting to get out of here as fast as possible. After a few moments, my pokemon have taken out the five trainer's teams. I inch past them on the bridge and try to pass the man but he holds out the nugget.

"Here, as promised," he says. "And you're a tough trainer. You should join our team. You can get a complimentary item for joining!" He holds up...a half-mask with the creepy smile on it.

I freeze, and walk really fast around him.

"Hold up!" he says. "What about-"

"Leave me alone!" I shout, yet he still reaches out to stop me.

That's when Bubbles and Blume attack the man. Blume tackles him in the face, and Bubbles shoots him down with a water gun attack. I shake my head and run down Route 4.

"It's just like 3 years ago! Punks like that always ruin stuff! At least she wasn't as bad as that fiery girl and the reckless boy...-" The trainer's voices disappear as I gain ground and after five minutes of running I stop, and lean against a tree to regain my bearings.

That's when the whirlwind kicks up and I'm sent flying.

Ooooo! Cliffy! :333 Catch any hints in there? ;))))

And I bet you're all wondering where Gary is. ;P Just wait and seeeee.

This was filler...yet not at the same time. Depends on what you take from it. :3

Anywayyyy, tell me what you though! R&R!
