Torrence groaned loudly and leaned over the leather couch. She and her twin sister had been outside this lockeroom for an hour, and her dad was already making a big deal about it. And now they were confined in here, with some giant masked man guarding them for the past two days. When is the fun going to come around here? Why couldn't Serenity at least come by? And why the hell had they agreed to this in the first place?
"I'm so bored!" She ground out, getting lazy in her seat. Melissa looked towards her, and rolled her eyes at her slouching off the couch. "This is our dad trying to protect us. Even if it is the most boring way..." Melissa stopped and turned around to face the giant man that was standing. He was guarding the door and had been like a statue for the past thirty minutes or maybe even an hour. Who knows? She had forgotten.
Torrence didn't really care what he looked like, but Melissa did. Something about Rodimir, who's real name was Daniel Rodimir, was interesting. He was tall and muscular. His ring attire was a singlet with designs stitched in and it showed off his strong muscles and pectorals. He had brown-ish hair that was cut short, with some small strands hanging in his face. His eyes were visible, but dark and the bottom half of his face was concealed by a mask.
Melissa continued to study the mysterious man. He had one black glove on his hand, with matching wrist bands. On his legs were black tights that went over his singlet. She found herself lost in his appearance, suddenly getting the urge to sketch him.
"Hello, earth to my idiot sister, we need an adventure." Said Torrence.
"Why don't you ask him?" Melissa smiled and gazed at Rodimir once more, and her twin snorted. "Like we can go anywhere without this giant lurking over us... Can he even hear us?" Torrence seemed interested now and gazed at him also.
"I don't even know. I can't even make out his eyes. He's probably smiling underneath whatever's on his face." She laughed at herself, and Melissa looked towards her twin with one eyebrow raised. That was pretty harsh but she decided to keep quiet about it.
The door then opened. In came their father followed by Serenity McMahon. Undertaker was still in his ring attire, and so was... Serenity. And Torrence couldn't believe how attractive she looked right at that moment. It was a baby blue t-shirt that was fitted with a low but appropriate neckline with Serenity 1.0 in glittery letters on the back and black wrestling capris that were tight with short lace up boots. She smiled brightly, and the twins smiled back at her.
"Girls - " But Undertaker cut Serenity to the quick. He placed his hand over her mouth, before motioning Rodimir to leave. The tall man nodded before leaving the four alone. As the door automatically locked on close, Undertaker turned back towards his girls.
"Do one of you want to explain what you were doing out of this lockeroom the other day?" His first question came out harsh, and it was what he intended. When these twins went out disobeying him and fooling off like they did, they were damn well going to recieve father mode. He hadn't meant to be so harsh but this was getting on his nerves. Why couldn't they just listen for once?
Serenity decided to stay quite to respect his parenting skills and took a seat on the brown leather couch.
"We were with Uncle Kane... we didn't think it would be bad if we were with him instead being alone." Melissa explained softly, not really having an answer. Mark looked incredulous.
"I know that. What I want to know is why is you two disobeyed me, and decided to venture off!" He couldn't help but shout, but he was so goddamned irritated with these two knuckleheads. He was wondering slightly if they were ever going to go blonde like their mother... He thought about and he surely hoped not.
"What difference does it make? We were with Kane and the other two giants! In case you forgotten, we've been stuck in this lockeroom for each show!" Melissa defended, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Torrence was still ignoring her father.
Undertaker growled. "It makes a big difference! It makes a huge difference when some sick, pervert named Diamond Dallas Page is lurking around!" He exclaimed, getting fed up with their attitudes. He raised these girls, and here they are being disrespectful! This was getting too much and he knew if Page hadn't been around, this would be a different story.
Serenity watched on silently, feeling awkward being in the middle of this.
"And I will not have my daughters get put in danger because some sick boy wants to become famous!" He was starting to calm down, and he lowered his raised hand he was using to motion his words. Melissa was glaring her father right in his eyes, but Torrence was just frowning and looking down at her black nails. It didn't take long for Mark to notice her rude attitude.
"And what the hell are you pouting about?" He asked, before folding his large arms over his chest. Torrence had a bad attitude as of late and honestly, he wasn't going to take it any longer. Whatever was wrong with her, she needed to fix.
"Oh, nothing." She finally spoke to him.
Melissa turned her head towards her twin, looking at her. Did she really talk to him? Melissa was under the impression that Torrence wasn't going to speak to her father but here she was. She rolled her eyes, automatically knowing that her twin was going to say something over the top, not that she cared.
"Nothing, huh? Well, now you finally talk to me. Is this what it takes to break this rude, snotty attitude you've got going on in your head?" Undertaker accused, using his index finger to prod at her forehead gently. She growled and pushed his hand away, back to ignoring him. He didn't really care anymore.
"Alright, in ten minutes, we're heading back to the hotel. And I don't trust you with your own room, not having what you pulled. You're going to learn the hard way when you decided to not follow my simple rules." Undertaker sighed and headed into the bathroom to change and shower.
Serenity sat still, fingers fidgeting softly. "Did you girls know that I'm going to be right down the hall? So if you need anything..." She stopped herself as she realized the twins now somber looking expressions. They looked heartbroken. She felt for them, and decided to leave before seeing them cry, or else she would cry.
"I love you girls. Let me know if you ever need anything." They both nodded as they gave her a tight hug. Serenity hesitantly let go, before making her way out of the lockeroom, trying to rush to her lockeroom. She needed to take a shower and get out of here as well.
When Mark emerged from the shower some time later, he immediately tensed and noticed that Serenity wasn't present. But giving out the feeling and asking if the twins knew would make him look suspicious, even if they were just friends. "Alright, get your bags and hurry up. I really need to get some sleep."
He basically ordered, and they decided not to argue. The ride to the hotel was stuck with silence. The tension could be cut with a knife. From now and then, Undertaker wanted to talk to them, talk to his daughters, but this was bad. They were both ignoring him. He could handle one, but not two.
He cursed himself silently, knowing this was a bad idea.
