The next day, Triton called in Ariel, Adella and their sisters. "I'm sure you'll be pleased, Ariel and Adella, to know that the laws regarding incest and same sex relationships have been changed." he said.
Adella gasped and smiled. "How did you know?" she asked.
Triton smiled. "Father's intuition. I learned it from my father." he said.
Athena smiled. "And now the family is whole again. Let's celebrate!" she cried.
As everyone watched, Ariel and Adella embraced and kissed passionately. "Whoo! Let's get this party on!" Aquata cried.
Later, Andrina was telling Athena of the adventures she'd had with her sisters. "And then Ariel dumped plankton pate on the gators, and snapping clams came and the gators ran off in pain. But they came back, and eventually they were tied up." she said.
Athena was impressed. "Ariel's such a special girl. Tell me another story." she said.
Andrina smiled. "I'd love to, but there's a mermaid over there that I fell in love with. I have to know if she feels the same about me." she said.
After about 5 minutes, Athena smiled as she saw her second youngest daughter find true love at last. "Mom, this is Melody, my new girlfriend. Melody, this is my long-thought-dead mother, Queen Athena." Andrina said.
