Hey everyone. Happy Spring Break from Kumi-Chan and Company. Sorry for the lack of updates, I've had a lack of motivation to write and type this out, but I pulled through.
Thanks to all of the new favorites, alerts and reviews! I especially appreciate it!
We find out a bit more in this chappie, but I Decided to cut it into two parts, one for pure laziness to give it all to you guise in one go, and two, because it will be too long than I want it to be.
So enjoy!
Disclaimers: I do no own Mago or any other character used not do I own the Samurai Warriors franchise that I love so much. Koei people owns. All Kumi-Chan has is her OCs and this story!
Chapter 6: Chiaki and the Oda
"Okay... Alright, look..." Magoichi stutters, pinching his temples in frustration. "Damn!" He shouts, breathing heavily.
"Mago! You! You-" Gracia huffed, shaking her head, while rocking the child back and forth.
"Gracia!"
"Oh, so you take a little girl's side over mine? And to think... To think that I actually considered you good looking," The woman scoffed, placing a hand on her large chest.
Magoichi immediately turned from Gracia and looked at the beautiful, angry woman. He placed hands on her shoulders, staring into her eyes and pulled her closer to him.
"No, no!" Magoichi laughed nervously. "It's not that... It's just... Damn!" He slapped his forehead.
"Oh, so you'd rather spend the night with some cheap-cheapie old hag, Mago? We're supposed to be pals!" The red head pouted, giving a glare to the woman. She hears Kiri stir up and started to pat her back in a soothing way, calming her down.
"Old hag?!"
"That's right! Old hag?! And I-I am not a child!" Gracia shouted back, stomping another foot on the wooden floor.
"Look, ladies can't we all agree that Magoichi just-" some random man in the bar blurted out, standing from his stool.
He was suddenly shut down by the two girls and their ferocious glare.
"Stay out of this!" They both shouted at the same time.
Their sudden outburst caused the loudest of cries to be heard from the startled infant.
Her big, bubby eyes widened and her bottom lip poked out, quivering in a pout. She suddenly burst out crying, tears overflowing and her cries engulfing everyone around her.
Gracia huffed. "See what you did now? Pals never do that to their pals, Mago." She pat the baby's back, trying her best to calm her down. Kiri however did not comply.
She started crying even harder. Her eyes bounced over from every unfamiliar face in the small bar until they stopped at the most familiar one.
Magoichi.
He was currently whispering "sweet nothings" to the woman in the bar, who sported an annoyed look on her face.
"Just come home with me and you'll see-" He stopped, finally noticing the infant with extended chubby arms out, reaching for him. The woman gasped.
"So-So... So it is yours!"
Magoichi's darkened eyes widened as he stared in awe at the infant he had met just at least a week ago, not having proper care for, never knowing the baby's gender and even leaving her in the care of a little lady, curious as hell and with a short attention span... This little creature was yearning for Mago. And it sure shocked the hell out of him as to why she reached for him. She was crying for him. Not the comfort of Gracia's little arms, but for him, a half drunken womanizer, trying to pick up women and drown himself in sake just to escape it.
Kiri's bubbly, dark chocolate brown eyes. It's rosy stubby cheeks. It's chubby arms... Kiri's adorable, giggle and slightly annoying coos.
Without half thinking himself, he slowly walked over to the sniffling infant and grasped her in his arms, craddling her in his arms. Kiri's sniffles stifled and she snuggled close to Magoichi.
Ignoring everyone staring at him in shock, or the fact that he just did not notice them, he proceeded to walk out the door of the bar.
"Gracia... and beautiful lady..." He called out as he walked down the dirt roads of the Saika village.
"Why is she coming?!" Both girls screeched at the same time, startling people in the bar. They received no answer from the starstruck mercenary as he made his way back home, carrying the cooing infant.
Meanwhile
"Burn it." The eerie, yet cynical voice crowed from afar to his accompanied soldiers.
Without hesitation, the Oda troops proceeded to torch and burn down residents residing on the sea side of Osaka Bay.
As the wooden homes of peasants blew up into red, burning flames, the terrified screams of people brought a satisfied grin to the Demon King's solemn, yet dull face.
He chuckled evilly amongst his men and was about to storm off into his camp that he set up nearby.
"Y-You! Lecherous clown!" An elderly peasant wept, tossing a rock at the Demon King. This amused the man so, as he halted his horse and hopped off.
He clutched his blade in his hand tightly, slowly turning to face the brave, yet terrorized peasant.
"H-How dare you t-torch our home!" He shouted, gaining the attention of many running and fleeing peasants.
Nobunaga chuckled and continued taking slow steps towards the man, until he towered over the hunchback, elderly man dressed in ragged clothes.
"How amusing." Nobunaga simply spoke. "A merely peasant standing up to Nobunaga?"
"You-You... You don't scare me! The Saika will deal with you and your buffoonery of an army!" He spat him. "We shall deal with him!"
Various men from the general Katsue Shibata declared, stepping forward with their swords and spears pointing at the now horrified man.
Nobunaga simply smiled. "What folly." He spoke. He quickly slashed the peasant's throat, without a single drop of blood staining his dark armor.
Nobunaga Oda faced his men. "Execute the rest of them." And with that, he rose back on his steed and rode off into the night.
He smirked smugly at the last words of the peasant and the screams and cries coming from the lowly people that were about to meet their deaths. The Saika, huh? How amusing the upcoming day shall be. The Demon King thought.
Elsewhere
"So... this little girl is yours, huh?" The woman, now revealed to be named Chiaki asked curiously to the mercenary.
She poked Kiri's stomach, tickling her a bit and causing small giggles to erupt from her.
"Beats me..." Magoichi sighed. "Someone left the little bugger on my front porch. Apparently a one-nightstand." He continued to stare at the giggling baby in awe. He then thought back to his previous actions, clearing his throat. "I mean, there's no way this thing can be mine..."
Chiaki laughed. "Whatever you say, Mago! If that's the case, then how come you were oh, so quick to claim the child when she cried? You don't fool me." She placed her hands on her curvy hips. "Besides..." Chiaki trailed off, stepping closer to the mercenary, and pursing her pink lips. "I just adore a man who knows to care for things as such."
Magoichi stares into her lusty gaze and felt himself getting in a trance. "You know... I think she just might-"
"Hmph! Faker!" An angry Gracia bellowed from the corner she sat it. "So it's put me in a corner is it, Mago? It's choose a hag over me, Mago?!" She then faced the woman. "And, you! You! You! You! How dare you called Mago, Mago?!" Gracia crossed her arms over her chest and huffed.
Chiaki turned her attention from Magoichi and faced the red-head. "You know kid, you're really cute." - "If you curve your attitude a little better, you might even be beautiful..."
The red head blushed feverishly but stuck her tongue out at the older woman in a childish and stubborn way, also stomping one foot on the floor to add on to the effect.
Rollingg her eyes, Chiaki rushed over to the teen girl and started pinching her cheeks in a mocking tone. "Aren't you so adorable? Not a woman at all! Such a precious, loveable, adorable child!" She exclaimed, causing a ruckus in Magoichi's small wooden home.
To add on top of that, the noises startled Kiri, causing her to burst into tears. All the stressed and worried mercenary could do was just stand aloofly, twitching.
However, all of a sudden his front door burst open. A lowly peasant wept, bowing humbly to them.
"Pl-Please!" He panted.
"Our village was under attack!" He rose his wrinkled and dirty face to meet with Magoichi's.
Everyone was suddenly solemn and quiet, including the infant. "Under attack..."
Magoichi trailed off, trying to comprehend and regain his composure as well as his precious ego.
"Yes! By the-the Oda!" He cried, tremendously shaking in fear.
All it took was the name "Oda" for Magoichi to fleetly grasp his rifle, spare bullets and dart out the door.
"Gracia, Chiaki and Kiri!" he shouted, down the street. "Stay here!" Chiaki shouted back, "But wait! I had to tell you something! Something about this child!" But it was too late, he was already probably outside of the Saika gates.
