Yo what's up guys. Sorry that i haven't uploaded this story since September, it's been exactly 8 months since ive updated, and I apologize for that. Well Im gonna cut the shit and tell you straight up: this is the last chapter. Enjoy.

4 Months Later

It really was a sight for sore eyes. Even though the digital cabin couldn't fall into disrepair, it still looked decrepit and lonely.

Kirito and Asuna's cabin on the 22nd floor of Aincrad was now the emptiest it have ever been, and had the most people that would ever be in it again. Everything was at it had been the last time Asuna and Kirito had logged on. Nothing had been moved, nothing had been set down, and there was nothing that would ever be moved again.

The last time I logged on, Kirito had been with me. But that was two months ago. Asuna repeated the words in her head until they had been permanently engraved in there.

A familiar voice sounded out of thin air.

"Mommy!" Yui fluttered around the room before settling down next to her mommy, Asuna.

"Hey, Yui." Despair and emptiness were the only two feelings that could be heard when Asuna spoke. Yui, obviously, noticed.

"Is there something wrong, mommy? You've been gone for a while and now you come back sad."

"Yeah, there is something. And I think you need to know." Asuna choked back tears. Yui, of course, could tell. "Daddy's been sick recently, remember? I told you a little while ago."

"Of course, mommy. Did something happen to daddy?" Yui sounded worried, though she tried her best to hide it.

"Yeah. Something did happen." Asuna paused, she knew she didn't want to tell Yui, but she had to. "Yui, daddy isn't going to log on for a while."

"What do you mean?"

"That's the best I can do to explain it. It's just…." Asuna stopped speaking, and in that moment, she never wanted to speak again. "Daddy can't log on. He's not able to anymore."

Yui opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. She wanted to comfort Asuna in some way, any way. But in the end, she couldn't. And throughout the next several years, Yui knew she would never be able to.

Author's note:

Okay folks, that's all. I hope you enjoyed this little story. I'm sorry that I killed Kirito and that I took a "little break". Have a nice day.
