Chapter 6: Moving in

Botan had shown Tsuki her room and she plopped down on her bed with Kito jumping up by her side.

"Stupid little baby, had to bring up my folks." She said aloud.

"He didn't know." Hiei was standing by the entrance of the doorway looking at Tsuki.

"Yeah I know but," Tsuki moved to a sitting position, "It still sucks to be reminded of those bitches every single friggen' day."

"I know." Hiei walked over to sit by Tsuki and Kito sat in his lap.

"It seems Kito remembers you quite well." Tsuki said.

"Yes, he does." In the time that Tsuki lived with Hiei, Kito really grew accustomed to him.

"How come it doesn't feel weird to talk? We haven't seen each other in three years." Tsuki asked.

"I don't know." Hiei answered.

*~ outside the door listening in (also known as eavesdropping) ~*

"Have you ever seen Hiei be nice to someone before?" Yusuke asked.

"Don't ask me, I never knew he had the capacity to be nice to someone." Kuwabara said.

"Sh you guys, this is a rare moment and I won't have you spoil it because of your babbling." Botan put her ear back to the door only to miss it and hit the floor. Botan looked up to see Hiei.

"Uh oh, um, hello Hiei." She said.

"Hn." He said back.

"Shut up!" Tsuki yelled from inside the room. She was holding her legs to her chest and her face was a bit red.

"Oh, great! Now I don't know what happened! Thanks a lot you two!" Botan yelled thrusting her oar into the craniums of Kuwabara and Yusuke.

"Ow! Hey it wasn't my fault!" Yusuke yelled.

"I expected more from you fox." Hiei said standing in front of the knelt down Kurama.

"Hehe, um, it seemed interesting and you didn't tell me that much about her and-"

"Sure whatever Kurama." Hiei walked off to leave the rest to question what happened inside the room.

"Um, excuse me? Could you all SHUT UP?! I'M TRYING TO GET SOME SLEEP HERE!" Tsuki's voice boomed from inside the room and the rest sped off.

"Well," Tsuki said standing up to shut the door, "this is going to be the first time in five and a half years that I'll be sleeping in a real bed. Hope their comfy." She creped under the bed covers falling asleep to Kito's soft purrs by her feet.

*~ the next day ~*

Tsuki was still sleeping in the bed when Botan came in.

"Wake up wake up! Time for some fun!" She said short sheeting Tsuki.

"What? No." Tsuki was totally entranced in the comfort of the bed she didn't want to move at all. She would give up eating to stay in that bed.

"Come on. Since you have no where else to live you're going to the human world to live with the guys. We're going to need to get all of your stuff too."

Tsuki thought about living with the guys in the human world in a real home in the city. She never ever had that before. Her only homes were the orphanage, random people's dojos in the country and any place where she went to sleep. Never an actual house with a front yard.

"Um, okay." She said still of course tired. "Will there be a bed there?"

"Of course silly now come on!" Tsuki stood up on the bed and of course was already ready since she had to sleep in her clothes.

Then Botan grabbed her arm and took her off with Kito close behind.

*~ human world ~*

"So where do you live Yusuke?" Tsuki asked as they walked the streets of Yusuke's neighborhood.

"Just around the corner over here. The rest of the guys should be there." He answered.

"Oh this is going to be so much fun!" Botan exclaimed.

"Um, what exactly is going to happen? She seems too excited." Tsuki said referring to the perky Botan.

"Oh she's like that, she's got a bouncing personality." Yusuke answered.

"I hate that." Tsuki looked up to see an apartment complex in front of her.

"I know it's not great but that's it." Yusuke told.

"Yusuke, I've lived in places worse then this. I've lived in places without four walls. Looking at this, to me, it's great. Do I get a bed?" Tsuki said.

"Yeah, why?" Tsuki was running up the stairs like a maniac and said, "What floor?"

"Uh, third, second on the left." Yusuke pointed out.

"Thank you." Tsuki disappeared and Yusuke just stared at Botan.

"Oh, like I didn't have a hard time getting her OUT of bed!" She said.

"You didn't, she told me." Yusuke said.

Tsuki burst into the room where Hiei, Kuwabara and Kurama were and she made a small noise that resembled a 'hey' and blew past them into her room. Tsuki jumped onto the bed and fell fast asleep.

Kito stayed behind with Botan and Yusuke because he knew how Tsuki could get when she longed for something.

"Uh, girl person? What are we supposed to call her?" Kuwabara said whispering to Kurama. He shrugged.

Tsuki came out with the bed covers wrapped around her body. "You may call me Marina. It's navy in Spanish and the name of my alter ego."

"Your alter ego?" Yusuke asked.

"Yup, I become Marina every time I get really pissed and start terrorizing things."

"Okay. Oh, no! What about your things? You do have things don't you?" Botan asked.

"Oh don't worry about that." Tsuki/Marina said as she snapped her fingers and a load of stuff landed in the middle of the floor.

"How did you learn how to do that?" Kuwa asked.

"From a demon a met when I eight." Tsuki answered.

"Okay Marina." Yusuke said. He couldn't get used to calling her that since he knew it wasn't her real name, he wanted to know and was jealous that Hiei knew.

"Do you mind putting all of my stuff in my room? Thanks!" Tsuki said with a fake excited voice.

"Hey, why us?!" Kuwa shouted.

"Because I will be going to sleep in about three," Tsuki took a step back into the room, "two," another, "one." Tsuki fell backwards straight onto the bed and fell asleep.

"How pissed do you think she'll be if we don't move her stuff?" Yusuke asked.

"She'll turn into Marina." Hiei answered.

"Great, she's got all this crap that we need to move!" Yusuke said.

"But look at it! It's a bunch of weapons, and good ones too!" Kuwa exclaimed.

"Don't touch them." Hiei said stopping the two boys.

"Why?" Yusuke asked.

"She'll look for finger prints trust me." He said.

"But they'll be there anyways when we move them."

"Use gloves." Hiei suggested as he walked over to Tsuki's room to let Kito in.

"Wow, she's that strict?" Kuwa asked.

"And she's our age too." Yusuke added.

"let's let her sleep so she won't change into the real Marina. I haven't even seen her and I'm already scared."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Shade- Weird way to end it I know and I'm not sure if Tsuki should stay living in the human world, these parts in other stories always got boring AND I need a good way to transition into the main part where stuff happens that at least seems interesting to me. Why am I telling you this? Your job is to read the story not my problems on it anyways... please review!
