A/n Sorry I haven't written for ever. It has been a long couple of weeks but here is an update.
I sat down on the bed and starred at the wall. It was way to quite. I was truly all alone. People came in once in awhile to check on me. And I was being released today. But no one would really tell me anything about what was going on with my Derek. Every time I asked I would be shushed.
My mom walked in and smiled at me. "Case, are you ready to go home."
"First you have to tell me hoe Derek is doing."
"Casey, can we do this when we get home. I promise we will explain everything."
I followed her out the door. Everyone smiled at me. I hoped I wouldn't have to return here. We drove home in silence. I didn't want to say anything about Derek. I might upset my mom. And I didn't want to upset her more that I could tell she already was. I sighed a couple of times but that was about it.
I was met outside the house by my sister, Lizzie, Edward, Marti, and George. But still no Derek. Where was he? Why had he left me? I started to sob. Mom enveloped me in a hug.
"Hone, Derek cant remember anything. He is up in his room resting. He keeps saying he needs to go see someone but he isn't sure who. Case he is so confused right now."
"But he is alive?"
"Yah sure if you can call sleeping almost all day long alive." Lizzie said.
"I have to go see him."
"Case, I am not sure if that is such a great idea." Mom said
I ignored her. I was opening his door before I knew it. He looked up at me.
"It is you. You came to me. I don't know you but I have been picturing you since I woke up."
"Oh, Derek. You have no clue. I thought you had abandoned me."
"I don't think I did."
"Derek I love you so much" I said without even thinking.
He gave me a hug. I feel so much love for you. But I do not even know your name."
"You can call me you Space Case."
He kissed me.
"Casey, what is going on…Where am I?"
"In your room. Derek what do you remember?"
"Last thing I remember is being in your room at the hospital."
"Oh Derry. I love you."
