=== FIND HER
It took you a long time before you were able to find your feet. Though you still felt numb, as if all this were only a terrible nightmare. But you knew it to be real. The hatred, the rage, the fire that pulsed through your veins and mingled with your (b/c) blood was undeniable. Your face showed no expression, as you equipped your weapon. A sickle that yearned for blood... Cerulean, blue blood.

"N-no, _, please don't." A voice in the back of your mind. A voice that could, easily, be ignored. You turned from Tavros's body and took off into the night with a purpose. One that you knew would be your end. Vriska surpassed you in skill, but damn it, if you weren't going to drag her down with you. She would taste your wrath, choke on it. You'd ensure that, promise it, even. "Stop! Y-you're going to get hurt!"

Love of mine
it's my time to die
and I must leave your voice behind
I'll fade away into the dark...

You found her, standing at the edge of the cliff next to Tavros's hive. You knew that's where she'd be, just to rub it in your face. Your (b/c) eyes darkened a shade or two as you began to approach her, the grip around the handle of your sickle tightening. You couldn't see him, you couldn't feel him, but Tavros's dead self reached out for you. He attempted to grab your shirt, only to find that his fingers passed through the fabric and your flesh as if it were a dream. He couldn't touch you. "_-_!"

"VRISKA!" Your voice was strained, holding back emotions. There was only one that showed, one that strangled you, caused you to shake as you attempted to hold it back. Hatred. It was spilling over the edge of your thinkpan, consuming all that you were.

Vriska turned, a mocking grin on her face. She held a sword in her hand, one that looked deadly and prepared. Her free hand rose into the air, her pointer and middle finger extended toward you... before she curled them in a clear invitation... twice. Her eyes wide with malice and muderous intent, she was positioned for battle. Ready.

Susurrations in my ears
Just whisper there's no need to fear
Because it breaks my little heart to leave you, my dear

You two jumped at each other in sync, your weapons poised to slash the other's flesh. Draw blood and end life. Vriska's sword and your sickle clashed with a sound that echoed around your battlefield. This was repeated several times, each of you guessing the other's move, before she decided to strike lower and you decided to strike higher.

Vriska's sword sliced into the flesh of your thigh and your sickle into the flesh of her shoulder. You stumbled, fighting for your footing, and she hissed in agony. Vriska glanced at her wound before she turned her gaze back to you, a fire burning in her eyes. When your eyes locked, it was as if the eletricity in the air heightened. You ignored the pain in your thigh, though it hindered your ability to dodge. As if it could be wished away.

Tavros closed his eyes, crossing his fingers, whispering his wishes into the abyss. Though there was nobody to hear them, nobody to grant them. He wished you would abscond, he wished that Vriska would take mercy on you, he wished that he were still alive. He wished that he could stop you. But it was all in vain.

It's just a game
and darling you're not to blame
The outcome is worth the pain

When you rushed each other this time, your weapons missed their opponent by inches. Instead, Vriska's sword slashed across your throat, maneuvered by only one hand... and your sickle sunk through her abdomen. Your (b/c) blood began to flow from the wound in your throat, cascading over your skin and soaking your shirt. Vriska was still standing with you, staring into your eyes, but the cold fire was gone. Instead she gazed at you as an equal, instead of something to be struck down.

Your fingers, weak, loosened from the handle of your sickle. The sword fell from Vriska's hand to it's final resting place on the grass beside her, shimmering with your blood. Her cerulean fluid dripped from your own weapon and began to coat your hand... But neither of you had the strength to stand any longer. She fell to her knees and you to yours. Both of you exchanged a spiteful smile before you fell on your sides; you crashed into the ground on your right, her to her left. With the last remaining bit of your strength, you pushed yourself onto your back.

Because we will meet again
She's knocked us down, spilled my blood on the ground

Your life was fading fast. Black tainted the edges of your vision and you choked on your own blood. You could feel the warmth spilling from your lips, you could feel it flowing from your throat. You coughed weakly, your eyelids fluttering, and when you focused again... You saw him. Tavros, his dead self, looming over you. His blank, white eyes stared down at you. You could see brown tears streaming down his cheeks... his expression filled with so much emotion... Some you couldn't even recognize. You smiled.

My next adventure starts now,
It's nothing to cry about,
'Cause we'll hold each other soon

As you had with him, his fingers caressed your cheek. You didn't feel warmth, though you felt a tickle. As if the wind had blown over your skin. You weren't positive if he was there at all... though you liked to think so. You allowed your eyelids to slide shut and your breath to escape your lungs. As you did so, you felt movement in the air next to you. Almost as though someone had laid themselves beside you. Again, you felt the wind tickle your flesh. This time, your hand, through your fingers... before you felt yourself fade.

Just lay down here beside me as my soul embarks
and I will fade away into the dark...
