Authors Note: Well Im back to going to school where it is becoming difficult to continue this story. I will still do it but here's how it will play out. How many days you wait will equal 30 minutes so I will spend 30 minutes on this story. When you wonderful viewers want me to update just leave a comment. I will total up the days and will spend that amount of time dedicated to this story. Thank you all for being with me this long and I promise the content will reach 5,000 words per chapter Thank you.

After the bloodshed Raiden cleaned his blade of the infected blood with one swoop. Ellie stood there in amazement of what happen. The whole room was cover in black oozing liquid just seeping everywhere. Raiden sheath his blade and right before that he heard the girl scream "Look Out!". Raiden quickly turned around and saw a Bloater running to him. The thing slap him into a wall, then grabbed his leg and threw him like a ragdoll. Raiden grab his sword only for it to be knock out of his hands, the Bloater grabbed him and was attempting to rip his jaw apart. He use all his might and bit it's fingers off. The beast howled in pain only for Raiden to escape his grasp and delivered a punch that shatter the fungus armor off. He jumped at a side of a wall and eagle kicked his jaw off, then landed knee first and uppercutted it into the ceiling. Raiden grab it's leg and brought it back down to lock hands in an effort to kill one another but it seemed Raiden was winning. He pulled the Bloater to him then kicked it in the stomach and finished it with a charged attack which shatter it into blood.

"Uh thank you I guess?" Ellie said questioning if she should invite him. She saw him almost kill Joel with his incredible strength but he could've left them for dead when the horde attack. She was taught by Joel only trust people you think you can trust and she was just confused. "No problem." Raiden said nonchalantly.

Raiden walked into the room where Joel was laying feeling guilty for what he has done. He saw his son right next to him on a chair unconscious so that was a start. Ellie sat in a chair facing him trying to see into his eyes to see if it were the eyes of a murderer but all she saw were regret and anguish. Raiden pulled out a small box and started to pick out a new disguise to look normal. Ellie peered over interested in the object, she always wanted to know about the past since her mother died and her father was god knows where.

"What is that?" said Ellie having a spark of interest. "Well this is a device that connects with my body and changes it too anything I desire, here I'll show you." Raiden said as he click on his Friday clothes. He had jeans on with Nike's, sunglasses and a shirt that says "Ladies Man". Ellie couldn't help but laugh until tears came out, and Raiden started laughing. Blade-Wolf walk into the door trying to assist the situation and found nothing humorous.

Mean While...

A man who looked in his fifties was walking to Joel's brother Tommy's damn but for a good reason. He casually walked up to it and knocked, which was answered with Maria pointing a sniper rifle at his head. "I hope you're lost cause you regret coming here!" said Maria with malice in her voice. The man smiled and took off his glasses hoping for a challenge.

Transition

Joel started to stir but when he open his eyes he saw that freak talking with Ellie. It might be a trap to lower her defenses, so Joel found an opportunity to attack and he went for it. He leapt of the bed and grabbed him by his throat trying to break his neck. Ellie quickly grabbed Joel to pry him off but couldn't do it until Blade-Wolf grabbed his waist and yanked him off. "Ellie quick run, get help!" Joel shouted only for Ellie to shout back. "He saved you damn life, at least give him respect!".

"I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him." Joel stated only for Ellie to drag him into the main floor where blood was everywhere. Joel was shocked and he certainly know who done it. He turned around at look at Raiden "What are you playing here ass, almost kill me then save my girl?" Joel said with anger. Raiden shove his hands into his pockets trying to figure out what to say, the he got an idea. "I was hired to help find a cure but the only one who has it is this girl, which her guardian killed most of the militia for her. I fight for justice so I came to exact revenge only to find out that the fireflies method was a little primitive. Cutting out the Brain?! Ha, my friend who made this cybernetic body also specializes with brains to and know how to keep the subject alive."

"So where is your so called friend?" Joel stated hoping not to get an answer but he got it. "Somewhere in Pakistan because the infected can't survive without decomposing." Raiden said with confidence. Before Joel could retort a load explosion could be heard for miles, so loud that it almost busted Joel and Ellie eardrums and somehow manage to wake John. "That came from the damn!" Ellie shouted. Joel immediately got worried so he snatched Ellie on her horse and they rode off.

"John, jump on Wolf so you can catch up!" Raiden said with authority. "Okay dad." John said and they both him and Raiden manage to catch up horses. Ellie looked at Joel sternly, "You own me a trip to Pakistan for killing the Fireflies!." Joel looked in shock because she couldn't be more serious but he decide not to argue cause she always gets her way. "Sure baby girl sure." Joel said with kindness in his voice.

10 Minutes Later...

Raiden, Joel, Ellie, Wolf, and John arrived only to find devastation. The gates were smashed open and the trail in nothing but blood, and fire. Ellie wanted to see if her friends were alright so she left the group in search not telling anyone. John felt something in his pocket so he reached for it. It was a storage container, so he open which expanded kind of like a poke-ball. John founded a hologram of Doktor.

"John if you see this, I've been working on a surprise for you some time now. Grab these bracelets and place them on both your ankles, and wrist." John did accordingly and waited for the next set of instructions. "Now put the large one around your waist kind like a belt." John followed until Doktor got to the final part. "Finally put the last one around you neck like a necklace and when the time comes activate the green button on your left wrist. Also look into the bottom of this storage box, Doktor out."

John pulled out a leather sheath and he quickly attach it to his waist knowing what it was. It was a High Frequency Blade but what type he did not know. John quickly ran back to the group to find the suspect.

Raiden stopped the group due to infected. They didn't notice them but they were heading for something on top of the sniper perch. The group founded a figure that jumped down from it sending a massive shockwave that killed all nearby infected. Joel heard a faint moan that only he can recognize, the mysterious figure had Ellie by her hair. He dropped her like a piece of trash and only pointed at Raiden.

"Raiden it's been a long time or should I say Saucy Jack!" The man said loudly.

"Oh no I know that voice anywhere, It cant be you your dead!" Shouted Raiden

As you expected the mysterious figure is none other than Senator Steven Armstrong but how? Stick around to find out.
