Chpater 6

It had been almost 4 weeks since she had told President Lory that she was expecting. Since then she had accepted the role of Nakata Asago and began to work on the mini-drama. She had been taking to Ren in sparse conversations, but at least they were having the chance to communitcate.

The week prior, Kyoko had walked into StudioB and met with the director and her co-actor and drama love interest, Hokuto Shiomi. After introductions, they travelled to the Baby store where Kyoko picked out her wardrobe. Her eyes dazzled as she ran around the store, picking up dresses and accessories left and right. Upon leaving, the three had relieved the store of six dress, six pairs of shoes, and countless accessories, all of the company credit card. Kyoko of course, refused to know how much they paid for everything, but found it hard to contain her excitement.

Upon arrival back at the studio that afternoon, they went straight into the script run through.

"Good Morning Kyoko-chan," Director Suzuhara said, motioning her to sit down. "We are waiting for out last actor to arrive, so please be patient" She said.

Twenty minutes later, the room had become lethargic and resulted in the many of them to take to their phones for entertainment. Okay, who does this guy think he is? We all have important schedules too. Minutes later, the door busted open.

"Ah, Here he is, Kyoko-chan, Hokuto-kun, This is your other co-actor, Fuwa-kun."

A few months prior, Sho Fuwa had tried his hand at acting. He wasn't too good at it, but he had the right connections and even after the flop of a movie he stared in, he apparently was able to keep his foot in the door.

Sho and Kyoko immediately made eye contact. As He walked to his seat, the tense air became more dense, although Kyoko never let her cool expression fail.

"Thank you for joining us today Fuwa-kun," Director Suzuhara said, caking on the sarcasm, "Okay, now that we're all here, I know all of you know the plot line and I'm really glad about that. Today, I needed you here for a couple of reasons. We are going to do a run through of the first episode, and then I'm going to get you all into wardrobe and makeup and we are going to do a promotions shoot to endorse the show. Keep in mind, this is a short drama, it only has 4 episodes, so we will finish this rather early, probably in the next two weeks. As long as you all can cooperate, I have a feeling that this will run very smoothly. We will be beginning promotion for this next week and the episodes will run from the 11th to the 14th of February as a Valentine's Day special."

The cast's run through was solid with the exception of Sho's dry reading. Lucikly, his lines were to a minimal. Although the tension remained in the room, the group quickly finished the scrip with no major problems and moved on to the photoshoot with ease.

Unfortunately, now Kyoko was conflicted with feeling so beautiful and princess like while standing next to the pond scum that she had shook off her feet too long ago.

"Okay, Kyoko-chan, can you lean towards Fuwa-kun a bit, and Fuwa-kun, could you make your arms a little tighter around her waist, and lay your head on her's. Yeah, that's great."

The photographer had taken shots of multiple uncomfortable poses, but this one had by far been the worse. She didn't want to stand within a five feet distance, and now she was in his embrace and smiling.

"Fuwa-kun, Please step aside, and Hokuto-kun, can I get the same pose with you, just on the opposite side that Fuwa-kun was standing on."

Kyoko like this much better. It wasn't as hard standing in an embrace with someone she hardly knew when the other option was someone who had crushed her heart into a million tiny pieces once upon a time.

"Thanks, I think that will be good for pictures today. We're going to put the poster's up in a couple of days, so be looking for them all over. I'm really excited to get to work with the three of you for the next six weeks. Let's make Aishiteru Itsumo a success." The director bowed to the three and they returned it back to her.

Between the entire photo shoot and costume changes for the photo shoot, they had taken over six hours and it was now way past her bed time. Kyoko called a company car and before she had reached her flat, she was nodding off in the backseat. The next day they would begin filming and she knew she needed her rest, even if she couldn't get the though of embracing that baka out of her head.

Julia Hirozaki is your typical high school graduate. She works at Mimi's Pastries, along with her best friend, and the love of her life, Makita Izumi. He acts like he loves her, but since she began working there over a month ago, they have grown apart. One day while working the counter, Julia notices a customer that she has served three times this week already. She asks his name, Ryochi Nikaido. The two talk and she comes to the conclusion that he's a pretty decent guy but then he picks up something random buys it and leaves the shop, dumping it in the trash right outside the shop. This sets her off.

At quitting time Julia asks Makita to be her boyfriend again, for the third time since she graduated. He rejects her, but she doesn't show that she is disappointed. They both walk separate ways.

Episode 2

Opens with Julia working the counter again. After she sighs, Ryochi walks in again.

He comes up to the counter and strikes up a conversation with her. She doesn't expect it to last long, but ends up lasting half of her shift. Her opinion changes a bit after talking to him. She attempts to help Makita in the kitchen after her shift, and being clumsy, she knocks an entire tray of pastries that were specially ordered. Makita gets furious with her, and tells her to leave.

She drops by the grocery store on the way home and while looking for some good vegetables, she knocked into someone. While apologizing, they notice each other, and after they finish shopping, He walks her to her apartment, and invites her out to dinner one night. She agrees.

Kyoko liked what they had filmed in just two days. They had almost finished the second episode and the shoot had gone smoothly thanks to her efforts of keeping a distance from Sho. It had help that since they were filming in an actual bakery, there were always screaming fans trying to capture the attention of a Japan top ten singer. He hadn't changed much. He was still a sucker for some girl asking her his number and telling him how hot he was.

On her way home, she called Ren, and although he didn't answer, she knew he'd call back soon. She praised herself that it had been two whole days and she had managed to keep her distance from the idiot and had even managed to not have to talk to him outside of her character.

not a chapter I'm proud of and definitely not one of my favorites. nonetheless, i feel like it is necessary for me to at least kinda stick with what I've written so far in the rewrite. loves :)
