The waiting room in the arena was large; Kakashi struggled to keep himself from pacing the room. He couldn't think of anything other than the fight. Sai was kept in a different room then him.

Which was probably for the best, he didn't think he had the self control to keep himself from strangling the boy.

He hadn't seen Sakura since this morning and he wanted to wish her luck before her fight, but that didn't look like it was going to happen. Maybe he would have time between fights to tell her. Right now he was going over his fighting skills in his head; he knew the boy was deadly with a sword. Also he was a member of root so he had unmatched strength. Then there was his special skill, all ANBU had them, it was kind of a silent necessity to be accepted into ANBU. His ink was not to be underestimated.

His ink….black….oil….

The black substance left in the women's veins. Could it have been ink? Why would Sai kill those women? Could he have killed them?

Kakashi's mind raced, if Sai was the killer this fight just became why more serious, if he was willing to kill women that he didn't even know, what was he willing to do with him? He had to talk to the Hokage, even if he was wrong, it was a hunch that couldn't be ignored.

He stood to leave just when the door opened. The women in the ANBU mask stepped in, "Hatake are you ready?" She asked.

He nodded then pulled a small piece of paper and jotted down a note. "Please give this to Lady Hokage." He handed the note over as he walked past her and into the main arena.

Taking no time he stepped out onto the dirt floor, the crowd roared as he walked toward the center. His eye searching lazily for the Hokage, he found her sitting in the front row. She was with the elders and her protection squad of ANBU. He watched as the women he gave the note to poofed next to her and bent down giving Tsunade the note. Reading it she looked out to Kakashi.

Then carefully nodded.

He nodded back and let his eye wonder over the sea of faces looking for one. Sakura sat beside Naruto and Hinata. When they locked eyes she jumped from her seat and waved her arms cheering. Kakashi smiled his eye crinkling smile and waved.

The young women's energy never ceased to surprise him; in under an hour she would be in a fight for her future and here she was jumping and smiling.

Soon he reached the center of the arena and turned and faced the Hokage then bowed low. He then turned to face the door opposite of his.

As if on cue Sai stepped from the shadows. His hair seemed almost uncommonly long, hanging down past his ears, it also looked matted as if he had run his hands threw it multiple times. Other than that his appearance looked the same as always. Kakashi noted the extra scrolls that hung from his hips, along with his sword. He soon too made it to the middle and bowed to Tsunade.

She took this time to stand and wave to the crowed, earning a cheer. "Leaf Village. We are here today to protect our way of life, with these ninja's sacrifice we will birth the newer stronger generation! The will of fire will burn brighter because of what happens here!" she then sat back down and with her hand in the air yelled, "Begin!"

Kakashi and Sai both jumped away from each other, creating space.

This is it. Time to make this punk pay. Kakashi thought as he pulled a kunai from his pouch. Sai matched him by pulling his sword from his belt. Then with timing that could only be mastered by the elite, they clashed together with a shower of sparks. Earning more cheers and screams from the crowd.

Kakashi flexed his arm to push his kunai down Sai's sword. The boy gritted his teeth a matched his force.

Kakashi smiled, he couldn't help it, the boy was using his full strength and still unable to push him away. It was funny to see him this emotionally involved in the fight and it had just started.

Sai saw him smirk and cut his eyes, "Only mad men smile before their death." Sai whispered under his breath.

Kakashi stopped smiling, "Only mad men kill innocent women." He said then watched closely for any reaction.

Sai gave him the exact opposite; his face lost the anger and was wiped completely clean of emotion.

This was just as good. Kakashi pulled away and jumped three feet back. He then pocketed his kunai. His voice was low and flat. "Your life will end here, or in chains. It is your choice." Kakashi said moving his headband to revel the dark red eye. "Know which ever you choose, you will never see Sakura again." He added his voice just above a whisper.

Sai's chin jutted up as if he had been hit, his face was twisted into an evil glare.

Kakashi glared right back, "That's right, you'll never see her again, but she'll get to hear who the real monster was. You! You'll never get a future with her, I will. I'm going to make her the happiest women in the world. And guess what, you won't be in her life at all. She'll forget all about you." His eye began to spin, "Choose now."

Sai racked his hands threw his hair. Kakashi could see his hand shaking.

"Your right she will be happy, only it's not with you. You will die here." Sai pulled his scroll from his waist. Then with lighting fast movements he drew something casting ink all over the ground.

Kakashi jumped back his eye swirling, then pulled his kunai back out. "Come on! Show me what it looks like when a boy throws a tantrum!" Kakashi yelled at him. The boy cursed under his breath and let his dogs morph from the scroll. They were large black wolves, with ink dripping from their fangs. They snarled and growled at Kakashi.

Sai snapped his fingers and the two beasts lunged for Kakashi. He jumped causing them to fallow him into the air. With speed and grace that only the copy ninja himself could have, Kakashi dodged the wolves' fangs mid-air. Sending his kunai threw both their heads in one shot.

Landing gracefully back on his feet looked back up at Sai. His eye was now at full speed, it wouldn't be long now until he would have the boy in his own personal hell. Hell miles away from his Sakura.

Sakura watched at the two men clashed together, what was going on? She had asked Kakashi to drop this fight. Why was he here? This was a question she would have to ask later, right now she had to cheer and hope that Kakashi wouldn't hurt Sai too badly.

The fight was uncommonly slow, from what she heard Kakashi had ended all this others in the first 4 minutes, and yet he seemed to just be buying his time.

Is he toying with him? Sakura Asked herself watching Kakashi kill two of Sai's creatures with easy.

"Hey why isn't Sensei moving in on dick head?" Naruto asked leaning over to Sakura. She shrugged her shoulders and turned back to the fight. Something wasn't right, Sai was acting off somehow, He looked different, his body seemed to be hunched over and Sakura could see his back rising and falling with his ragged breath. His hair had fallen into his eye blocking his face from her.

"I don't know but something's not right." She said glancing back to Naruto.

The sound of metal scrapping together made her eyes flick back to the fight, Kakashi and Sai were locked together again, sword and kunai latched together. This time they jumped into the air sending punches and kicks into each other.

Kakashi blade slid lower on Sai's sword and started to bite into his hand. Sakura could see the blood running down his arm as they landed back down on the ground. Sakura could see their lips moving but they were too far to make out what they were saying.

She could only imagine what they were saying. These two men hated each other, and it was mostly her fault that they did.

Soon Sai got a lucky shot in on Kakashi and sent his chin flying to the side. She didn't know when this fight was going to be over, but she had a feeling that it was going to be a long time.

The boy was fast, he had tricked Kakashi by sending his leg up for a kick, but he spun on his other foot and connected with the man's jaw.

After he staggered back from the hit, he squared his shoulders. It was time. Kakashi ran at the boy and locked weapons with him one last time, but this time was different Kakashi looked right into his eyes and Sai's mistakenly look right back at him.

It was over. The boy's world was crushed into a sea of red and black. Being tied to a board Sai found himself unable to move, pulling at the ties around his wrists and ankles Sai jerked back and forth.

"It's no use." Kakashi said morphing out of the ground. "You're trapped in my Jutsui there is nothing you can do." Kakashi walked over to the boy. "Since we're alone here I can finally ask all the questions I want." A sword formed down from Kakashi arm.

"Do you really think I'm going to tell you anything?" Sai said relaxing his body.

Kakashi smiled, "Actually I'm hoping you don't." he said then plunged his sword into Sais shoulder, "That makes hurting you all the more justifiable." He added twisting the blade deeper.

Sai's face was blank of all emotion. But that was no big surprise; Kakashi had almost never seen the boy show any real emotion. That was until he was around Sakura.

Kakashi steeped away from the boy and cleared the area around him. Sai was now standing in the middle of what looked like a living room. The blood red hue still hung in the air. He went to take a step forward but found that he was still unable to move.

He then watched as Sakura appeared walking with that blond girl, Ino. He listened hard to what they were saying.

"So you finally did it huh?" Ino said with a smile.

"Eh I guess." Sakura answered back sitting down on the couch.

"What, was it that bad?"

"Well yeah, actually it was. He was so small, and had no skill what so ever. I mean I know he was in ANBU all his life but you would think he had some natural talent." Sakura rolled her eyes and flipped through a magazine.

"Oh my god you're kidding! He was that bad!?" Ino squealed.

"What is this!" Sai demanding unable to pull himself from the sight.

"Do you think he could be taught?" Ino giggled back.

Sakura shook her head, "Well if he can it's not going to be by me, I need a more experienced man. One that knows what to do with my body."

The image in front of him started to fade away.

"NO! None of this is real! Sakura loves me, she enjoyed every second of what we did!" Sai snarled to the air.

A new image was forming; Sai squinted to make it out. It was too blurry to tell but he could hear everything. He knew those moans, just hearing them made his cock twitch in his pants.

"Sakura…." Sai whispered. The image then snapped into focus, Sakura bent over her desk; with Kakashi send his hand down on her perfect ass. With every slap she moaned.

"Ohh sensei…ugh please harder." She said throwing her head back in pleasure.

Sai growled at the scene. "This is all fake! Show yourself you son of a bitch!" Sai yelled into the air.

Kakashi again formed up from the ground. The smile on his face was almost murderous. "Oh this is real one is real, this is the realest thing in this world." Kakashi said walking over to Sai.

"You see while you did get the sweet gift of Sakura's first time. I am the one who please her now. Did she beg you to fuck her harder when you were with her?" Kakashi lifted his eyes to the scene, "Or maybe you were the one to make her orgasm multiple times calling your name louder and louder each time?" he looked back at Sai.

"Noo….no that was me." Kakashi said smiling.

Kakashi finally showing him what happened in his apartment earlier, Sakura wrapped around him telling him he loved her.

"You see boy, even when she knows that you wanted to be with her. She chose me."

Sai's expression changed. It was no longer anger that flooded his face, but pain. This is what Kakashi wanted; he wanted to break Sai down until there was nothing left of him. He was surprised how quickly he achieved his goal.

Soon Sai found himself back on the board tied up. The sword still stuck into his shoulder.

"Just kill me." Sai spat at him closing his eyes.

Kakashi shook his head, "No, that I can't do. I'm not you. You're going to spend the rest of your life in jail…if you're lucky. They might just give you back to the ANBU." Kakashi appeared another sword and shoved it into the boy's right thigh. "And we both know what happens to rouge ANBU member that kill a brother or sister."

Kakashi himself had only seen it done once. The ANBU was in charge of handling things in a quick and quite way. But the way that they dispose of their own is something even Kakashi found hard to watch. It would start with a mind scrub. They would make you relive your worst day, over and over again, until you lost the ability to speak and move. The man that he saw this done to was reduced to a drooling pile.

Then while you're still awake, they slowly start to pull you apart. They see it as taking away your gift. Say in Sai's case, his special abilities start in his hands so they would cut off his fingers one by one. Then move on to his hands, peeling the skin back slowly. Then they would have their medic rip the chakra out of its lines. It would go on like that until the pain would become too much and they would fall into darkness. So the person literally dies from pain.

"I'll kill myself before it gets that far." Sai said his eyes still closed.

"Oh no, no, no, that I can't let happen. I will make it my personal mission to make sure you make it to that time. And I don't know how many favors I have still with the head of ANBU. But I'm going to try my hardest to be the one that starts you punishment." Kakashi walked up to Sai kunai in hand.

"You just said you weren't going to kill me." Sai said looking down at him.

"Oh I'm not. But by the time I release you from this place, you're going to beg to be given to ANBU."

Tsunade folded her hand over her lap. She knew exactly what was happing. Kakashi had pulled Sai away from this world. And she did not envy his pain right now. She flipped the note she had received over in her hand so that she could read it over.

Murders black substance = ink? Leave it up to Kakashi to solve a case that she herself had been stumped on. As soon as she read it she rain through the lab report in her head. The common elements in the toxic report were the common materials in ink. She didn't know how she had missed it. The clean cuts, the ink it was a considerable amount of evidence against Sai. He was the only one in the village that used this special skill. But something still bothered her, how had he kept them from fighting back? These were women that were at the top of the fighting ring, they were not to be trifled with. How could he have overcome them so easily? There was still too much that they didn't know.

That's why she had given Kakashi a nod, giving him the green light to use whatever force he thought was necessary to not only win but to keep Sai from escaping.

As the fight went on she had ordered ANBU to move and cover all exits.

But as of right now she guessed that Sai was neck deep in his own personal hell, thanks to Kakashi's sharingan. Which made her wonder, what do you show a sociopath that murders women?

Tsunade shook her head, that is something even she didn't want to know.

"Why is no one stopping you….How could the village turn a blind eye to you!" Sai said as Kakashi threw the boys arm into the pile of limbs. He had already pulled him apart more times than he could count.

"Actually it's only been a couple of minutes." Kakashi said with small smile. "See that's just one of the many perks that come with my talent." He walked back over to Sai and slowly started to slice into the skin right above his ankle. "What you feel has been years, has really only been about two minutes out there."

"You're just like me, then."

Kakashi stopped his blade just about an inch from Sai's bone. The boy had long stopped screaming, Kakashi guessed after you get torn apart 1000 times you start to get used to it. Soon he would have to move to his second technique, he was always so sloppy at dissection but it was a very painful thing to experience, so it normally got him the information he wanted.

"Oh really?" Kakashi asked adding force to the blade making it snap threw the boys ankle. Sai gritted his teeth and watched as Kakashi calmly threw his foot into the pile. "How so?" He asked sitting on the ground in front of Sai.

"Look at you, even now while you're cutting a human apart you have no emotion what so ever, you think that's normal?" The boy watched as the man rubbed his chin as if deep in thought.

"Well you're wrong on that count." Kakashi said standing up. He walked over to where Sai was still pined up, the nails that went through his hands and hips keeping him in place had long been rusted. He reached up and started to peel the skin from his torso. Sai got to watch his chest be opened like a cabinet door. "I do have an emotion right now. Happiness is the emotion I feel."

Still gritting his teeth through the pain Sai answered, "And you think happiness is the right thing to feel right now? Wouldn't that make you worse than me? At least I don't like doing the things that I did, I felt no pull either way. You on the other hand enjoy this. Which mean you're more likely to repeat your actions."

Kakashi nodded, "Spoken right from the book, I'm guessing you read a lot on how to act around people. So natural you would pick up what not to feel when you do certain things. Murder for one thing." Kakashi tossed the peeled skin to the side and wiped his hands on the boy's pants. "I don't feel joy because I like doing this. I feel joy because it is you who I get to do it too." Kakashi put his torturing aside for a minute and looked at the boy.

"Ever since I saw you kiss Sakura that night I've dreamed of what it would feel like to put my hand through your chest. I want my chidori to be the last think your ears hear before you're thrown into the lower levels of hell."

"Hmm it must kill you that I got to taste her first." Sai said the evil creeping back into his face. His lips turned up into a snarl. "That she came to me not you when she needed her virginity taken."

"Not one bit." Kakashi said with a shrug. "But I do feel bad that she had to lose it to someone so inexperienced. I would have liked her to enjoy her first time. The way only a man could give her."

"I hope you don't mean yourself! No one your age could offer any pleasure!" Sai yelled at the man.

Kakashi used his forearm to wipe the sweat from his brow, "All a matter of opinion I guess." He said the pulled his belt around until a small pouch was in front. Slowly he unsnapped it and laid it out on the ground. The leather unfolded to show small knifes and needles sticking out from the middle. It looked like a kit a medical ninja would carry into battle, just in case there was an emergency.

But Kakashi had no plans in healing with his tool kit.

"Well I enjoyed our little talk, but I think it's time you started telling me exactly what happened today." Kakashi picked a small pin like needle out of the kit.

Sai remained silent, just watching the man.

Kakashi shrugged, "Fine by me, I think we have about four more minutes until the people back in the area start to get restless. And I think we both know just how long four minutes will feel." Walking up to Sai he smiled, "Although I can't promise that you'll be conscience for most of it." And with that he plunged the needle into Sai's left eye earning a scream from him that seemed to echo into the distance.

"COME ON!"

"GET THIS FIGHT MOVING!"

"WE PAID FOR A FIGHT!"

The crowd yelled. Sakura was a full on nervous wreck. Kakashi and Sai had been locked together for five minutes now. Neither of them moved. She could sense that Kakashi's chakra was being depleted, she didn't know how long he could keep this up, let alone keep himself conscience. He knew better then to over work his eye; he was going to go blind quick enough without using it left and right.

But as if he had read his mind, Kakashi unlatched himself from the struggle and landed two feet back on one knee. Sai on the other hand had dropped like a rock. His body was in a slump on the ground.

She watched as Kakashi stood and turned to look at Tsunade, with a quick nod she waved at the ref to end the fight, the man jumped in the middle of them and raised his left hand.

"WE HAVE OUR WINNER! KAKASHI HATAKE IS THE MENS CHAMPION!"

Cheering and applause rose from the crowd. Sakura couldn't help to jump around and cheer. She was proud that soon Kakashi would be hers. They would get to start a life together and have a family. The thought almost made her giggle.

"HA, Sakura!" Naruto yelled over the cheers. "Let's go congratulate him!" Naruto said already jumping up onto the railing. Sakura nodded and went to join him but an ANBU member grabbed her shoulder. Sakura reeled back and looked at him.

The owl face was twisted and looked like it had been damaged. There was no hair that stuck out of the mask; just a tight black cover the person wore to cover his head.

"It's time for you to prepare for your fight." The masked man said with a stiff voice.

Naruto jumped down off the railing, "Look man our sensei just won and were going down to see him. Sakura has to fight in the area right? So really were jumping like five steps ahead of you. She'll be in the middle when her fight time comes up." Naruto pulled Sakura's hand, "Come on." He said pulling her toward the field.

The ANBU steeped forward, "I'm sorry but I can't let you do that. It is strict orders that she be brought down to meet with the Hokage. She had a message for her." Owl stepped even closer.

"Ok well what is the message?" Naruto asked becoming annoyed.

"My lady said it was one that had to be delivered in person." The ANBU crossed his arms letting them know he had nothing further to say.

"It's ok Naruto; Tsunade must want to wish me luck. You know she can't show favorites around everyone." Sakura pulled her hand from his and gave him a quick hug. "I'll be fine. Tell Kakashi well done for me." She Said with a smile and wave, then walked up to owl.

"O.k lets go!" She said sternly getting her game face ready. He nodded and walked toward the tunnels that lead down into the depths of the arena.

"Sakura! GOOD LUCK!" Naruto yelled and waved as he jumped down onto the dirt.

He glanced back one last time to see the small tuff of pink disappear into the tunnel. Then raced over to Kakashi, by this time the white haired man had medics swarming over him. He had his usual face of boredom on as Naruto got to his side.

"KAKASHI SENSEI!" Naruto yelled as he ran up and smacked him on the shoulder. The old medic frowned and shook his head at the young boys' actions. "You did great! Of course I'm guessing half the fight took place in that eye of yours, but still the medics hauled Sai out of here so fast I'm sure you did some major damage."

Kakashi looked around the boy; sure enough Sai's body was gone. He guessed the Hokage wanted answers sooner than later. His eye then scanned the crowed for Sakura. When he didn't see her he looked up at Naruto.

"Where's Sakura?" He asked calmly.

Naruto rolled his eyes and huffed. "Old lady wanted to give her some kind of pre-fight pep talk." He crossed his arms in front of his chest, "She sent some ANBU asshole to pick up Sakura."

Kakashi nodded, she must want to wish her luck, and she is her student after all. He let his eye fall closed and sat there listening to Naruto. The boy was explaining the fight in every detail, as if Kakashi hadn't been the one fighting. He couldn't help but smile at the boy's energy. Naruto still jumped around like he was ten years old. But soon Kakashi picked up another sound, one that made his eye pop back open.

"Well done Hatake. Glad you could handle yourself in there." Tsunade said as she stepped in front of him.

"Hey old lady what are you doing here." Naruto asked.

Tsunade's eye twitched. "I'm telling him what a good job he did; maybe if you weren't such a screw up you would know what that's like." She said in a hard tone.

Kakashi shook his head, "Have you already spoken to Sakura?"

Turning to the man she raised her eyebrow. Kakashi clarified, "You wanted to speak with her before her fight, and sent and ANBU to fetch her."

Tsunade's face went flat. Then spoke very tensely, "I never gave such orders."

Sakura awoke in a small room, it was dark. The only light came from a small candle that was flicking in the corner. She pulled at her wrists, they were bound behind her. She pulled harder but the rope began to dig into her skin. She narrowed her eyes trying to see in the darkness. Just then her eyes locked on a pair of legs. They stuck out of a dark shadowed window seal.

"Who are you?" Sakura demanded looking into the shadow. There was a small giggle in return. The leg pulled themselves up, and a woman hopped down from her seat.

"Bout time you woke up. I thought I killed you for a second." The women said. She talked with a low smooth voice, Sakura leaned close trying to see her face but she stood mostly in shadow.

"Funny I don't see why Sai is so smitten with you. You're not even that pretty. And I've seen better bodies." The women huffed. "But no attesting to someone's taste, to every man his own I guess."

"Why am I here?" Sakura asked pulling on her ropes again.

She saw the women shuffle a little. Then with a smile only too evident in her voice the women answered, "Well you're here to die of course."
