Hey guys, I'm so sorry that I haven't written anything lately. I took forever to write this! I'm so sorry!! Everyone's probably so mad at me! I'm sorry! Don't hurt me! Lol, ok so here it is, I hope you like it!
Please review please, please, please!! I'll give you another virtual cupcake!! It's got more sprinkles!!
"Oh my gosh," said Angel again, barely audible. I knew of only one person who that could possibly be, but I knew it wasn't. If it wasn't him, who could it possibly be? I was trying to think of others but they were all impossible. Who was at the door?
"I think you better get it, Max." Angel said. Uh-oh.
"Um… ok…" What was going on?
I went to the door and opened it cautiously.
"Oh my gosh," was all I could say. I think my jaw dropped all the way to the floor. There was absolutely no possible way that this could be happening. I was staring straight at Mr. and Mrs. Tom Griffiths. That's right, Iggy's mom and dad. Why were they here, how did they find us? I also noticed two police men, well, at least we could take them easily if something happened.
"Max right?" said Iggy's mom.
"Uh-huh…." I could hardly talk.
"We're here for James," apparently Mr. Griffiths was the blunt sort of person…
"Who is it?" I heard a call from the other room. It was Iggy.
"Um, I think you should come here," I said, how was I gonna tell him that his parents were here? I don't think I could break it to him, he practically hated them-
"James, my darling," Mrs. Griffiths interrupted my thoughts, "we're here for you."
"Are my mom and dad here?" Iggy whispered to me, under his breath so no one else could hear him.
"Yeah…" I still was under a state of shock.
"What's going on?" Ella had just come in, oh gosh, she hadn't ever met his mom and dad.
"Um, Ella, this is my um mom and dad," Iggy was definitely shocked.
"Nice to meet you," Ella seemed really annoyed, "so why are you here?" Haha, I had never heard Ella so rude before, but I liked it.
"We've come for James," I could tell it took Ella a little while before she realized that Iggy's real name was James.
"NO!" she yelled, and then blushed a little. Mr. Griffiths was a little taken aback. Wow, Ella was really protective of him. I can't say I blame her; I wanted to yell at them too. "What I meant was, he belongs with us," good save…
"We're sorry, but since James is alive, he is technically in our custody," No, this can't be happening!
"I'm not going with you," way to go Iggy! By this time everyone was watching and listening.
"You can't take Iggy away from us again, he's not a sideshow freak that you can make money off of, he's a really person! You should know that!" Way to stick up for the family, Nudge.
"We're taking him and that's final, you can't do anything about it!" Mr. and Mrs. Griffiths were tough when it came to Iggy, they just wouldn't let go. We were tougher though, we'd never give him up for anything in the world.
"Yeah, sure you are, and I'm the fairy tale princess of happy unicorn rainbow land," I couldn't help my sarcasm, and I really didn't want to, "he's staying with us, and we can always do something about everything."
"Under the federal law, he cannot stay with you and must be brought with us back to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Griffiths," this was the first time I had ever heard one of the police officers talking. "I'm sorry miss, but he must come back with us unless he has signed custody to a responsible adult."
"Which isn't going to happen," piped in Mrs. Griffiths, I really didn't like her. None of the flock was about to let him go, and especially not Ella. Poor Ella, at this point she had started crying, she was truly worried that they would take him. Wow, she really did love him. That's when it hit me, I looked around, but still nothing. Where was Iggy?
