Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be switching points of view a lot between Peter and Rosella throughout this chapter.

At Aslan's Temple...

Rosella's P.O.V.

It has been a few days since we set out to join forces with the other Narnians who wish to declare war on the Telmarines and things have been relatively quiet. The High King and Edmund the Just were constantly in meetings creating battle plans and military strategies. Therefore, we rarely ever cross paths, which is probably for the best since me and Peter don't see eye to eye. I don't have a problem with Edmund who seems like a nice boy, and come to think of it, I don't really have anything against Peter besides the fact that he's annoying and bossy. I think it was just the incident at the hideout that really left bad blood between us. Usually I spend most of my day training from dawn, I stop for lunch, and continue until the sun begins to set on the horizon. Some days when I don't train, I talk with Lucy and she makes a few memories more clearer to me.

"Rosella, is it okay if you show me some of your...powers?" Lucy asked nervously and I chuckled.

"Sure, let's go onto the roof of the temple and I'll show you," she beamed excitedly and she took my hand dragging me outside as I laughed at her enthusiasm. Unbeknownst to them, a certain High King watched them with a frown marring his young and pale face.

I saw Lucy and Rosella laughing together, and I couldn't help feeling a pang of jealousy. They're always together either talking, training or just spending time together. Ever since Lucy found out the Blues family was still alive with a loss of memory, she's made it her personal mission to help each of them regain their memories.

"Sure, let's go onto the roof of the temple and I'll show you," Rosella suggested making Lucy smile brightly and drag her outside laughing the whole way. Hmm...maybe I should follow them?

"Peter, what are you doing?" Edmund asked confused since I was hiding behind a stone pillar watching my sister and Rosella leave.

"I wanted to go see what Rosella and Lucy are up to," I answered calmly not wanting to give Edmund more ammo to tease me with.

"They're probably going to play with Rosella's powers," Edmund said thoughtfully leaning against the pillar I'm also leaning against and I raised an eyebrow up in confusion.

"What powers?" Edmund gave me a confused expression.

"You don't know? I found out by accident, but it turns out its common knowledge that each of the Blues has a certain ability," Edmund explained and I stared at him in shock. They each have powers? What kind of powers? Why didn't they tell us?

"What are Rose's powers?" I asked worriedly and he chuckled.

"Fire manipulation, which kind of makes sense considering her hair looks like it's made of fire," Edmund answered with a grin, but he frowned upon seeing my worried face.

"Look Peter, Lucy's safe with Rose. She practically adores Lucy I doubt she'd get angry enough to hurt her with her powers," Edmund reassured me, but it didn't help. It wasn't Lucy I was worried about.

"Still I don't think it's a good idea for Lucy to be hanging out with her alone all the time," Edmund stared at me in shock.

"You're not seriously going to consider separating Lucy from Rose, right? Not only will you have someone who has anger issues with fire powers, but you'll also have an angry Lucy," Edmund pointed out and I sighed heavily.

"Either way, I'm going to follow them just to make sure nothing happens to Lucy," I stated making up my mind and Edmund shook his head with a sigh.

"Your funeral." With that being said, Edmund walked away and I hastily made my way outside. Quietly, I made my way up to the roof staying concealed in the shadows of the dark forest looking for any signs of Lucy and Rosella. After a little bit of searching, I found them at the far end of the rooftop sitting side by side talking to each other. I strained to listen in on their conversation.

Rosella's P.O.V.

Once we reached the rooftop and away from prying eyes, I let flames dance over my shoulder in an arch earning a gasp of awe from Lucy.

"You think this is impressive? Wait until I really get started," I created small explosions of fire and I made shapes with the flames. I made people, animals, Narnians, and castles of of flames, and each time I made something new, Lucy would look on in awe.

"This is amazing!" Lucy exclaimed in wonder and I dissipated the flames as I sat down on the floor tiredly. It's been awhile since I practiced for a long time with my powers for show.

"It sure is,"

"Can I ask you something?"

"You just did,"

"I'm serious,"

"Go ahead,"

"Do you hate my brother?" That caught me off guard and I scratched the back of my neck nervously. How do I put this lightly?

"I don't...necessarily hate him, he just annoys me and we did get off on the wrong foot," she bit her lip in thought. Her next question made me do a double take.

"Do you think he's handsome?" Well this just got awkward.

"Come again?" She smiled mischievously and repeated the question.

"Um...he's good looking...in a sense," she raised an eyebrow up at me unconvinced.

"Why are you even asking me this?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Because you two would make a great couple," she said bluntly and I raised an eyebrow up at her in confusion.

"Did Susan put you up to this?" She grinned nodding her head. Now I know who to strangle the next time I see them.

"I also want you to be my sister-in-law," I gapped at her as she grinned. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out giving me the appearance of a fish.

"W-Well, you still could if you married Jackie!" I protested blushing madly and she turned bright pink.

"This is about you and Peter!"

"There's nothing to talk about between us!"

"Other people agree that you should date him,"

"What? Who?"

"You know, people in general,"

"That's not specific,"

"It doesn't have to be,"

"Yes it does,"

"Why?"

"So I can strangle them!"

"You'd have the most beautiful children together!" My blush deepened.

"We are not having this discussion,"

"I'll tell Susan you think Peter's very handsome and you want to have his children," I stared at her in disbelief.

"I never said that!"

"You don't have to say it for you to have the urge-"

"Lucy! Where in Aslan's name did you get this idea in your head?" I shrieked in horror and she smiled evilly.

"Susan had the talk with me." I face palmed.

Peter's P.O.V.

People think me and Rosella would make a good couple? Lucy wants us to get married and have kids? When and why did Susan have the talk with Lucy? My face had turned different shades of red throughout this conversation, and as I was turning around to leave I tripped on a rock falling on the ground making a lot of noise.

Silence.

"Peter, what are you doing on the ground?" Lucy asked innocently and I gulped upon seeing Rose's suspicious look.

"I was um...taking a stroll through the woods...and I tripped on a rock," I answered hesitantly hopping they'd buy it. Rose narrowed her eyes.

"What did you hear?" Rose demanded suspiciously pulling me to my feet and I shifted nervously under her glare.

"Um...nothing," I said wincing as my voice cracked at the end.

Silence.

"I'm...going to go see if Susan wants to spar." Lucy said turning to walk away before shoving Rose into me so hard that we landed in a tangle of limbs. "Have fun!" Lucy called giggling madly as she ran through the forest. I looked down to see a furious and blushing Rose glaring at me in embarrassment.

"You heard everything didn't you?"

"...please don't kill me."
