Hello once more, brony pals! I really hope to get chapters out faster, but school has been hectic, I've got exams in like five weeks, and I'm listening to Discord remix by TheLivingTombstone. DISCORD, I'm howling at the moon...okay, focus. Story. Yeah. Here we go...

Chapter Six: Increasing Dangers

GreatHeart, Midnight Moon, and Speed Chaser ran into the Rebellion's headquarters. Princess Luna walked out of a room and up to them.

"I see you have returned Midnight to me safe. Wait, who is this! Why did you let him in here?" she said suddenly, turning to Speed Chaser.

"He's a defector from the Rainbow Factory", GreatHeart replied. Luna's eyes flashed suddenly and she turned and shook her head before turning back to them.

"This is probably the worst idea since my conversion to Nightmare Moon, but we'll have to go with it for now. I take it the rest of your team didn't make it, as they are nowhere in sight?" GreatHeart nodded slowly. "Well, that was to be expected. Now, I need to plan for a big mission that's coming up."

GreatHeart, Midnight and Speed Chaser walked away as Sweetie Belle appeared to take them to the bedrooms. Luna walked back to her room and closed the door quickly, suddenly shivering and sweating. She looked around fear in her eyes. She heard a whisper in her head and shook her head wildly.

"No, never again." her eyes flashed and for a second she saw her face in a mirror, but her eyes were slotted and her teeth sharp. She backed away and looked again, but she was normal. She coughed and a black smoke coughed out and faded. Her mane dimmed for a second then returned to normal. She backed right to the wall.

"Why is this happening?" she was startled when she heard a reply.

"Because it's who you are, Mother. Accept it. Then help me return Father and we can rule Equestria together. Give in. Give in. Give in."

Luna was terrified, but tried to show some courage. She leapt up and prepared a spell, ready to attack.

"Show yourself, foul fiend!" A black pony with a red mane appeared in the shadows, then disappeared.

Midnight Moon pushed open the door. "Mother? What is wrong? Also, I need to talk to you." she was startled by Luna, as she looked up. Her eyes were slitted.

"Mother?" Luna's eyes flashed and returned to normal.

"Midnight, I have no time for this, I need to finish plans for the mission and tell GreatHeart it. We can talk later." she walked out.

-Somewhere in the Rebellion Headquarters-

Sweetie Belle walked into an empty room, then with a flash changed to reveal a changeling. She walked up to AppleJack, who did the same.

"Soon we will get our revenge for all they have done, especially GreatHeart. But first, to topple Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence. Then our Queen can take her rightful place.

-Near the Crystal Empire-

Dark Shadows walked up to a horn of a unicorn that was lying broken on the ground. He took out the Alicorn Amulet and put it on, before charging up a spell. He fired it and it hit the horn, then he increased its power, and watched as red and black smoke gathered from the air and tiny fragments of 'something' started spinning around it. The smoke formed into the shape of a large unicorn then the fragments formed a layer over it before it sealing and hardening. Dark Shadows could barely believe it, but before him stood the ancient Enslaver of the Crystal Empire, King Sombra, his father.

-Rebellion Headquarters-

GreatHeart walked up to Luna and AppleJack who were waiting for him in the main hall. " Yes Princess?"

Luna placed a map of Canterlot Castle onto a table. "You are going to rescue Discord." GreatHeart staggered back.

"WHAT? He's the reason all this is even happening!"

"YOU DARE QUESTION THE AUTHORITY OF A DECISION MADE BY THE PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT?" Luna bellowed, almost blowing GreatHeart, the map and the table to the other side of the room with the Canterlot Voice.

"Okay, okay, just tell me what I need to do."

-Rainbow Dash's house-

Rainbow lay on a sofa, worrying.

"Why GreatHeart, why did you leave, why did you join the Rebellion, and IN CELESTIA'S NAME WHY DID YOU COME TO THE FACTORY!" she clampe a hoof over her mouth, remembering that Celestia had become a traitor. She got up and paced the floor, before hearing a knock at her door. She went over and opened it. A squad of Pegasi guards stood there, and behind them stood Princess Twilight.

"Twilight! I mean, your Highness" Rainbow said, bowing a little.

Twilight frowned. "You are a traitor against myself and therefore all of Equestria!"

Rainbow stood straight, "What?"

Twilight nodded at one of the guards who took out a scroll. Twilight opened it and the guard read it.

"By the authority of Her Majesty Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Equestria and Bearer of the Element of Magic, you are under arrest for conspiring with a member of the Rebellion and plotting to overthrow the Rainbow Factory."

Rainbow snorted with laughter. "I'm the leader of the Rainbow Factory, who's been telling you guys these jokes?"

"You were seen conversing with GreatHeart, a member of the rebellion seen in an attempt to cripple the Factory, whee you objected to him being attacked."

Rainbow took a step back. "Hey, I like GreatHeart, and I want him to come to his senses and fight on out side."

Twilights horn began to glow. "Sure"

Rainbow glanced from guard to guard, then at Twilight. Then she suddenly slammed the door and hit a hidden button, which sealed off the doors and windows, and then she ran upstairs, knowing the barricade wouldn't hold under Twilights magic. She entered her bedroom just as she heard the sound of teleporting. Twilight hadn't even bothered to blast the door, she'd just passed it. Rainbow hit another button, activating the houses defences, and heard a small scream as Twilight was caught off guard. She heard sounds of explosion and shots. She rushed to her wardrobe and opened it, jumping in.

Twilight blasted down the door to Rainbows room, blasting the guns which opened up on her. She glanced around for Rainbow.

"Rainbow Dash, surrender now and you won't end up in the Rainbow Factory.

The wardrobe blew open as a pony walked out covered in armour. She rose into the air.

"Twilight, I don't want to attack you."

"Who are you? Where did you get that armour? It's not like any like ever seen." Twilight said.

"A loophole in the R&D department. I found a book about ancient armour and found a design for a weird creature and modified it to make this. As for who I am, call me Iron Pony." a small missile rose up from the shoulder and fired at Twilight. The missile split into several and rained down on her. When the smoke cleared Rainbow Dash was gone. Twilight roared in anger and let out a spell that destroyed the entire house, including the guards.

"Well, Dark Shadows was telling the truth it seems. Rainbow Dash is now an enemy of mine and appears to have a friend. Guards!" she looked around. "Oh, I'll have to make the notice back at the castle. She teleported away.

Rainbow Dash sighed with relief and turned off the armour's stealth mode. She thanked in her head whoever the original creator was, then groaned. Now she was going to be hunted, just like GreatHeart. As she flew off, she thought back to the book and wondered what else it might contain, and knew she needed to get it again.

-Somewhere, not inside Time-

A changeling sat watching Equestria, and laughing slowly.

"Oh, GreatHeart, you have only the faintest idea of the true chaos and schemes you are entwined in. And once I return, it will only get worse. After all, it is technically my fault this is happening, and I love it. You will not soon forget the name of Façade.

Wow, even I wasn't expecting all that. Okay,quick summary. Luna is having Nightmarish effects, AppleJack and SweetieBelle are actually changelings who plan on putting Chrysalis on the throne and getting 'revenge', Dark Shadows has just resurrected King Sombra, who is actually his father, GreatHeart is going to try and rescue Discord, Rainbow Dash found the Iron Man plans in a book and has made her own version and is now an enemy of Twilight, and Façade is planning on returning (read my first story for info on him).

No, no more crossovery stuff in this story, but who knows in the future. I hope you enjoyed this. I wrote this in like 1 and a half hours and actually before midnight for once. Yay me!
