AN: Since the reviewers for this fic are absolutely fantastic (and I've had quite a lucky day ^o^ won free fanfiction in Darren Criss raffle) I thought I'd not only update this one quickly but take it a step further. I apologize if you hate this twist but I also have to warn you that there were TWO Goosebumps stories I loved as a 90s kid (pfsh for being born Sept 1989) , The Cuckoo Clock of Doom and My Hairiest Adventure.

Chapter Six: Wild Cats

Blaine was still growling and whining from under the bed and that stupid cat had now jumped onto the bed so that Kurt was afraid to bend down and turn his back on the animal. He could hear Rachel calling him to watch demo tapes she had recorded for the upcoming performance of Into The Woods. Blaine however was most important.

"I'm warning you," Kurt hissed at the cat, his eyes narrowing, "You do anything to cause any more trouble and I think that I'll just have to..."

The cat just stared at him and Kurt rolled his eyes before getting down onto the floor, sinking down low and looking at the terrified puppy whose ears were flat and he was pressed down low. "Baby," the design student attempted, "It's okay, I'm here, you feel like getting out..."

Blaine nervously crawled towards him but before Kurt knew it there was a deep pain in his back and one of his favorite shirts had been slashed by that god awful white fluff ball. "Urk," he moaned in response, still trying to reach for Blaine who was growling more and attempting to get out (and probably attack the cat right back, animal cruelty be damned).

However, before he could do something Blaine looked across at his future husband and noticed his face, the expression must have been the same that Blaine gave because somehow the same thing appeared to be happening and Blaine was getting terrified for his partner. Kurt's glasz eyes were getting brighter and his body seemed to be getting smaller and his back, god, Blaine could remember when that had happened to him and how much it hurt.

The dog stared curiously, he wasn't sure what kind of dog Kurt would be but no matter what type of dog...or bird...or plant...or anything Kurt was, all Blaine wanted to do was love and protect the man opposite him. Soon Kurt's body had got to the point where he could have fit under the bed but he definitely didn't appear human anymore, but he wasn't a dog either.

He had pointed ears, four paws, a small pink nose and whiskers, and he also had those orange and black stripes that made Blaine's heart pound.

How had Kurt become a tiger? He could try to understand other things, other aspects, but Kurt was a tiger. A damn tiger cub.

"Get out of here you creepy monster! Ugly thing...this isn't your house! Rachel isn't your master, you better get out of here before I make it my mission to get you both out. I'm the star of the show around here!"

Blaine didn't care however and as he looked into the tiger's eyes he noticed the same Kurt staring back at him, completely confused and terrified.

"Baby?" Blaine asked, moving forward cautiously so as not to scare the one he loved as he sniffed a scent that was so pure and so Kurt and finally he nuzzled the very young tiger cub's head with his nose, rubbing their cheeks together and licking him, "Are you okay? I'm here, I'm here okay, can you hear me?"

Kurt gazed at his paws and then managed to get his own claws out, he noticed the zig zaggy lines and felt his tail thump at the ground behind him, that hard wooden floor that only Rachel would choose for her bedroom. "Y-Yeah," he said weakly and they both gave loving looks at each other as they realized one positive in this situation, their voices sounded the same.

"It's okay, I'm right here for you. I love you Kurt," he whispered as the tiger looked up and then stared back at the engagement rings on the floor.

"I want to wear..." he struggled and Blaine shook his head, licking the tigers cheek, not caring about the orange, black, or white fur that could stick to his wet tongue.

"At least we're at Rachels, she won't throw them away..." the puppy nuzzled the frightened tiger more and Kurt flinched thinking about Rachel, how would she...

"How are we going to get out of here Blaine? Won't Rachel call animal control...I'm a tiger, a TIGER!"

"A very cute tiger," Blaine licked his cheek and rubbed his head against Kurts, "Whatever happens I will follow you, I will be with you, I promise. I won't let them lock you away."

Without thinking about it, Kurt had put his paw over Blaine's body and rolled onto the floor with him. He actually felt a bit changed but it was as if their love had grown even stronger, but how would that be possible? There was no way it would be possible, not like this.

"What if you unlock your phone in front of Rachel?" Blaine asked, his tail wagging before that bitchy voice rang out again.

"And you two think you're better as human, there's nothing human about monsters like you. Terrible, disgusting, revolting lifeforms. You make me sick, you disgust me, you don't deserve lif..."

Blaine frowned, "Will you shut up!" he barked at the cat before Rachel dashed into the room.

"Kurt! What is going on here? What are you doi-" she started before spotting the Kurt tiger and backed up as the tiger took a few steps backwards as well, she shivered as Maria came over to her side. "Kurt!" she yelled as the tiger looked up and Rachel gazed into those all too familiar eyes but she was too frightened of the fact a wild, and endangered, animal was in her bedroom to do much of anything or make sense of the situation.

Before anything else had a chance of happening, Blaine had grabbed the two rings in his teeth and stood in front of the tiger protecting him as Rachel noticed the clothes on the ground.

"You didn't...you couldn't have..." she said as Blaine eyed her cautiously, "Oh god, Kurt got eaten!"

"Stop!" Blaine yelled out and then the two rings dropped to the floor and very very anxiously Rachel bent down to pick them up and stared at the two animals. One had Kurt's kind of...hair as fur on his head and that dog was unbelievably fluffy and curly fluffy at that, but no, this could not happen. There was no way that...

"The phone," Blaine attempted to prompt Kurt as he kept his eyes on Rachel. The short brunette woman however was watching as the tiger managed to type in Kurt's pass code and then go into the photo album of the three of them together. He walked over and placed the phone at Rachel's feet. Her eyes widened.

"Kurt?" she said looking at the tiger and then reached down before the tiger trotted up and she stroked his head, "Blaine?" to this the puppy gave a bark, panting and nodding at the same time.

"This is not happening," she paled before noticing the cut and scooped both animals up in her arms, (after putting the rings in her pocket) and took them into the room where Maria's bowls and litter box were set up. "I got some cream for emergencies and you're a cat so it still works...I hope,"

Rachel carefully rubbed the medicated lotion into the cut on the tigers back and as she did so he seemed to change and then there was a naked Kurt in front of her, she gasped as she tried to gain her bearings before staring at the design student, "You have to explain. Kurt you have to explain everything you know,"

Kurt took a short breath, a grave expression crossing his face, "That's the problem...I don't know anything."
